Critters saying "Just Breathe"

How about a cute critter for Always Fun Challenge?  Created a few cards for my friends in a few different color combinations.  My favorite combo is the middle one.

My face masks were just white cardstock that I scored and punched a hole.  Added some twine . . . because how else would the cute pups keep them on their faces?

Die I mention this color combo was my favorite?  So tranquil with those clouds.

But I won't lie . . . this last one makes me laugh, as I added a little sentiment.  He's a bit fiesty!

His bark is worse than his bite.

I hope you find some time to create over this long holiday weekend.

Debbie

Thank You Daffodil for CAS(E) this Sketch

Created this using the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch, replacing balloons with some flowers.

Had not used washi tape in a while, so it was fun to use my supplies along with my latest Club Sursee set from Catherine Pooler Designs.

I hope you find some time to create today.

Debbie

Many Thanks . . . Movie Inspired

One of my favorite movies ever is "You've Got Mail".  I don't even want to say how many times I've likely seen that movie.  Always Fun Challenge this week was a movie prompt and so with my favorite movie in mind, ad specifically Greg Kinnear's character's love of the typewriter, I created this card.

I remember manual typewriters with their little round keys, so I dug up this paper and stamp set from an old Simon Says Stamp card kit.

I hope you find some time to create today.

Pigments and Dye Inks and Embossing

A little something for Seize the Birthday challenge which was "anything goes" for this last two weeks.  Here is my card . . .

I made a card similar to this one before, but with less pizazz, and it was long time ago.  I think there is something about this little bunny that just capture my heart.

I just love the texture of the balloons, which you can see in the picture below.  It's a result of dye inks mixed with pigment inks mixed with embossing powder.  Just love the textured look.

My hope for those who are crafty is that they find some time in their day to create.
