Rick St. Dennis progressive Challenge

Hi all, I'm back today with a card for the Rick St. Dennis Progressive Challenge. Every month, Rick will send out a free image to the previous month's participants to use for the following month's challenge.

Last month was the first, so we all used a different RSD image, but this month, we have all been given this fun-tastic image of Nyner The Winner! Thanks so much Rick!! I can't wait to see what everyone else does with him!

The theme for the challenge is Steampunk. This is my second card using this theme, and I'm still not sure I'm all that good at it to be honest, but they do say practice makes perfect!

I coloured him with Promarkers, and trimmed him out. I layered him onto a die cut clock - I was in sore need of some Steampunk embellishments, so I ordered the cogs die and the clock die from Robert Addams All Occasion Dies - the service was amazing, I got them two days later, and a free C.D and mini die too. Before cutting the clock, I stamped some Waltzingmouse Splats in Versamark, and used Aged Silver Frantage embossing powder to create a slight metallic effect.

Underneath the clock I arranged some die cut cogs cut in silver mirri card, and layered these on top of some matt gold card embossed with a steampunk style folder. I then layered this onto some brown card, and distressed the edges.

I layered this onto a card base, covered with some Graphic 45 paper from their Steampunk Spells stack.

If you want to join the fun at the Rick St. Dennis Progressive Challenge, but did not enter last month, never fear, you can buy Nyner The Winner HERE, and enter for this month. Your entry will get you an image to use for next month's challenge!

I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Passion for Promarkers - Mythical Creatures

I Love Promarkers - Digi's

Crafty Catz - Inspired by a song, 'We are the Champions' by Queen!

Thanks for stopping by,

Pauline
