WMSC #103
Hi all just getting in under the wire with an entry for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch challenge.
I have made a card using a variety of WMS stamp sets.
The sentiment is from compact Sentiments Part 2.
The stamped background is from French Country and Nordic Spring.
I stamped and coloured with promarkers a couple of the little flowers from French country, and popped them up on a couple of foam pads.

DYSU - Clouds & Skies
Morning all, today I have a card for the new challenge at DYSU, and this week we would like to see you use...
Blue Skies and Clouds in your creations! So you can interpret this as you will, I took my colour inspiration from the picture.
i was given the delightful image from one of our generous sponsors this week, Crafty Sentiments. This image is called Scilla, and I have coloured in using Pro and flexmarkers.
I created the label sentiment using a label punch from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment from Uniko Studios Fontiments Birthday set.
I then created the little flowers using the small punches from Stampin' Up Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, and topped with some Opal pearl drops.
The papers are a combination of Melissa Frances, Pink Paislee and the blue sky paper is unknown from my stash. It has the look of a rather stormy sky, so appropriate for us here in the U.K, being so sodden and windswept right now! To create the clouds I cut two different sized cloud shapes in some scrap card, and used them as a stencil to sponge Stormy Sky Distress Ink around the edges. Then i filled the cloud space with some Glossy Accents, and sprinkled some Glamour dust over them. They are lovely and sparkly in real life.
I cut the image using a Go Create die, and used a Martha Stewart punch on the patterned papers layered onto some peachy seam binding. Finally I added some Glamour dust to her skirt, and the little flowers in her hair for some extra sparkle.

The Shabby Tea Room, and a Few Challenges!
Hi all, I'm here today with a card made inspired by the Shabby tea Room pastelly sweet colours. I saw the graphic, and just had to play along, I just hope my card is 'Shabby' enough!
Here are the super sweet colours to use:
And here's my take:
I have stamped a lattice background using my new stamps from Uniko Studios, Background Builders - Lattice. Oh they are a dream to stamp with, and I couldn't resist using three of the pattern strips to create my background!
I have used a selection of chalk inks in Versamagic Thatched Straw, Pink Petunia, Pixie Dust and Versacolor Celadon.
I left enough room at the bottom of the card to stamp the wonderful sentiment from Papertrey Inks Harvest Berries set.
I die cut and stamped in Celadon ink the medium leaves from Harvest Berries, and created a little spray with an oversized paper rose and some pale green satin ribbon.
Finally I added some pale green pearls to the bottom of the punched edge card, which is from Craftwork Cards Petalpoint edge range.
I am entering this into the following challenges:
The Shabby Tea Room
Crafty Catz - Pastels
Paperplay Challenge - Use a Die
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by,
Pauline

The Ribbon Reel #31
Morning all, Today brings us a new challenge from The Ribbon Reel Challenge Blog. This week is Debbie's turn to choose the inspiration, and she has chosen this sweet picture, and asks that we incorporate FLOWERs and a TEA THEME!
So using the colours in the picture, I immediately thought of my neglected K&Co Sparkly Sweet paper pad, languishing at the bottom of my paper stack box. It also happens to be my first ever paper pad I purchased when I first started card making. I love the colours and patterns in this set, and I'm so glad that at the time I bought two packs!
I used the vibrant paisley patterned piece for the central panel, and stitched together with some turquoise striped paper from Echo Park Dots & Stripes in Teal.
I made a little rosette using a Memory Box die, topped with a pink rose from the Ribbon Reel, backed with a die cut leaf using Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage, in Certainly Celery card stock. I distressed the edges of the rosette in Peeled Paint, and topped the rose and leaves with stickles for some sparkle.
I then stamped the sentiment from Waltzingmouse stamps Afternoon Tea Sentiments set onto some Pool Party card, and cut using oval nesties. I then cut a frame using Nestabilities Labels 14, and distressed using Peeled paint D.I.
I layered the frame and die cut sentiment onto some Pink Grosgrain and Sheer Turquoise Ruffle trim both from The Ribbon reel.
In the corner I have created a little floral spray using Violet Cherry Blossoms, Tea Rose in Rosy Baby Pink, and a White Rose, and a little loop trim using Faux Silk in Lavendar all from The Ribbon reel, and some die cut leaves. For some shimmer I added a pearly pin and some stickles.
Finally I stamped two tea cup outlines in London fog. The card base is actually white, but I distressed around the edges in Peeled Paint distress ink.
Do stop by the rest of the design team for some more inspiration!

CR84FN #57
Morning all, today I have a card for the new colour challenge at CR84FN. This week, we have some pretty, feminine colours to play with:
Bright Pink, Tan and neutral.
I have made a Thank you card, and gone for a more CAS design than usual. I had these new Uniko Studios Decorative Doilies stamps sitting in their box for the last couple of weeks just waiting to be inked up. So I sat down and had some stampy fun!
I stamped a variety of the doilies, (the set is packed with many different designs, and I didn't get to use them all!) using Versamagic Raspberry pink.
I used some pearls and clear gems for the middles of the doilies.
I love this larger doily, such a pretty pattern.
Finally I stamped the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps in Distress Ink Frayed Burlap.
Do stop by the rest of the Design team for some more gorgeous inspiration:

PDCC #137
Hi again, second post in a day and not a D.T card in sight lol! I'm on a bit of a roll today, having broken out my new Growing Green set from Stampin' Up.
I've coloured this image in pink earlier today, and as I was colouring, I just wanted to colour it in all the colours of the rainbow! Well, one of my favourite challenges, The Play Date Cafe is having a Colour Splash this week, of White, Black and Blue, my favourite!
I've used the fern image again, and coloured it using Promarkers in Powder Blue, Cobalt Blue, Pastel Blue, Morning Mist and March Hare.
I stitched the image onto some black textured card using black thread, and stamped the sentiment from Uniko Studios in Tuxedo Black.
I then layered this panel onto some deep blue marbled effect card, it also has a beautiful sheen to it.
I then added some tiny black gems under the sentiment for a little sparkle.
Finally I added a sentiment panel inside the card, stamping the fern image partially in the corners.
Well, the rain has stayed off today, but it's still grey, cold and windy.
I'll be back tomorrow with my card for the new CR84FN challenge, thanks for stopping by,
Pauline

CAS-ual Fridays
Hi all, today I took a little time to make a card for a few challenges. I am finding it tricky fitting in playing along with my favourite challenges right now, but I felt inspired by this week's new challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays, to use pink in a CAS design.
I have wanted this image for months, and I'm so glad it's now in my collection, what a beautiful stamp. I stamped it in London Fog ink and coloured the image with Promarkers in Pale Pink, Budding Rose, Dusky Rose, Morning Mist and March Hare.
I layered the stamped panel onto some Bazzill kraft card, and stitched together with some Fawn coloured thread.
I added the sentiment also from Stampin' Up! and added some pale pink pearls underneath.
Inside I layered some kraft and white card with the same sentiment and a partial stamping of the fern image. The card base is Blushing Bride card also from Stampin' Up!.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
CAS-ual Fridays - Think Pink
Crafty Catz Challenge - Pastels
Papercraft Journey - Use kraft card
Hope ypou are all enjoying the weekend, it's another cold blustery day here, and i expect it will rain again later. Perfect crafting weather!

Charisma Cardz - Summer
Morning all, today I have my last D.T card for Charisma Cardz challenge, sniff, but the good news is that I will now be able to play along with the challenges! This week the theme is Summer.
I have made a card using the gorgeous papers by Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two.
The fancy label is from Cosmo Cricket's Tea for Two Element Deck, from The Ribbon Reel. I chose this charming vintage image of children running through a summer meadow.
I stitched together two colours of chevron striped twill, from The Ribbon Reel, and layered this over a panel of the patterned check paper edged with a MS punch.
I used a pre cut kraft tag, and stamped in Frayed Burlap the newsprint stamp from Hero Arts, then over the top, stamped the greeting from Waltzingmouse Stamps in Rich Cocoa. I distressed the edges of the tags with Crushed Olive, and Scattered Straw Distress Inks.
Inside, I used some of the checked paper edged with the MS punch, and lined the card with SU Very Vanilla card, and distressed with Scattered Straw and Wild Honey.
Finally I added some seam binding and cream lace, both from The Ribbon reel, and some gems and brads from stash. The little yellow roses and cream cherry blossom are also from The Ribbon Reel.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Bingo - Ribbon, Free, Blooms -(diagonal)
Moving along With The Times - Happy birthday
Scrapalicious - Summer

DYSU #77 - Inspired by a Movie
As a DT member we are lucky to be given some images to play with from our generous sponsors.
I saw this sweet little image at Tiddlyinks called Wryn - Joy Ride and immediately thought of the film Herbie The Love Bug. I used to love these films as a child, a car with a personality, how is it possible?
Anyway, here's my take on this week's fun theme:
I have coloured her with Promarkers and cut using a Nestabilities Label and sponged around the edges with Summer Sky chalk ink.
The papers are from Kaisercraft Fine & Sunny Collection in 'Cloudy' and 'Raindrops'.
I used a MS punch for the middle panel, and added a strip of Pink Twill and a Bakers Twine bow from the Ribbon Reel, and a turquoise flower topped with Stickles for some glittery sparkle from stash. Then finally added two Tiny Tags using PTI stamps and dies.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Paperplay Challenge - Use a Die
Papertake Weekly - Bingo - Punches, Glitter, Blooms
Scrapalicious - Summer
Tiddly Inks Challenge - Pink
Digital Tuesday challenge - Use a tag

CR84FN 56 - Wk 2
Hi all, it's week two over at CR84FN and the fresh zingy colour combination of Yellow, Grey and neutral. I love this colour combo, and there are some beautiful entries in the gallery this week, pop over and see!
I have made a card for a friend, and I made the sunny warm yellow my main colour. The papers are from Authentique Blissful paper stack.
I stitched the grey argyle paper to the yellow damask, and attached to a card base.
I then stamped in Memento London fog a vintage button tag from Papertrey Ink's Button Boutique, and attached three yellow buttons threaded with some grey Baker's Twine from The Ribbon Reel. I topped off the tag with some neutral and yellow cherry blossoms, also from The Ribbon Reel.
I layered the tag onto dome die cut doilies using a Marianne Creatables Die, and a Spellbinders Ironworks motif.
I added some rhinestones to the grey motifs, and stamped the fun greeting from Waltzingmouse Stamps in Tuxedo Black.
Do stop by the rest of the D.T for some wonderful inspiration, and also the gallery at CR84FN, there are some very pretty entries this week!
