Just Magnolia - It takes two!

As I've not entered in a while, I thought I'd better do a card this week for Just Magnolia
Its the Monthly Special and they are asking us to use more than one Magnolia Stamp - excluding any sentiments so I've used more than one Magnolia Stamp!
Four in fact (using one three times).

No Papers, No Embellishments, No Gems, No Ribbon (panic attack!)
Just
300gsm Watercolour Card
Distress ReInkers
Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad
Water Brush
Glue and Glamour Dust

I masked Tilda first then Edwin, I then put the Surfboard down, then Masked the tip of that and stamped the fence three times.
If Tilda was not there you'd see a gap in the fence where they gain access to the beach hehe!

Thanks for popping by and leaving any comments you do. I'm curious as to what people think of this.

Just Magnolia - Jay Jay's Sketch

This week at Just Magnolia Jay Jay has come up with a fabby Sketch!
I've made an easel card for a friend's birthday and used some free papers I got with a magazine recently, which are My Minds Eye and are totally gorgeous!

I've coloured in this cute "Tilda in the Sea" from the 'Sea Summer' 2008 Collection with Distress Inks, and then stamped her again but just to her shoulders, and coloured again with Distress Inks.

I've used some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the charms I had lying around. Ribbon and pearls from Stash.

A little view of Tilda

And another little view this time of the image on the insid

I glamour misted the flowers with Iridescent Gold to give that little sparkle too!
Thanks for popping by, have a lovely weekend!

edit - the Magazine is Cardmaking and Papercraft

Just Magnolia meets A Spoon Full of Sugar!

Just Magnolia have a Monochromatic Challenge on today!

I'm not sure if my Easel card will qualify as its a bit Bluey/Purple hmmm...I didn't just stick to one colour!

and

A Spoon Full of Sugar would like to see cards with a Kitchen / Cooking theme - What better way to show this than Tilda collecting Blueberries and then making 'em into jam, Mmm mmm mmm, (also my first time in entering!).

I've used these gorgeous fall stamps again, this time a different two (well three as I used the Jam Jar too)

Blueberry Tilda
and Baking Tilda with Wooden Spoon

Here are a couple of close ups of the Tilda's

Love this one, she looks so cute with the spoon :D
I've used card stock and a lovely sparkly velum of where I got it, I have no idea! Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and brads and ribbon from stash. Images coloured with Copics.

Thanks for looking

Just Magnolia 28 & Magnolia Down Under!

Over at Just Magnolia this week, they have a fabulous Sketch by Martine.

And over at Magnolia Down Under, the fabulous DT team have set the challenge to useDistressing!

I've been feeling a little guilty as I've had the Fall kit for some time now, plus some extras I bought which I liked from the set and I've NEVER inked them up until now! How bad is that... Since the fall kit came out, Magnolia have released the Spooky set and I believe the Christmas set is currently on Pre-Order!!

So I got this little cutie out and stamped her on some thick white card, and coloured her with Copics... I started colouring her pinny first in the yellows and for the life of me couldn't decide what other colour to use. It was going to be Purple, but - I'm pleased I went with Green!

I distressed the oval and also the yellow patterned paper, then inked both with Green Memento Ink.

Here is a little close up of Gorgeous Tilda!
(Apologies for the oval - its hand cut and not the best - MUST get me some more Nestabilities!)

Recipe:

Stamps: Tilda Pickin' Peaches and Recipe Card from Magnolia, Sentiment from WoJ.
Paper: Patterned paper from stash, Green and Yellow card from Core'dinations.
Embellies: Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Lace and Ribbon from Stash.

(I will be finishing the inside off with Peachy Tilda (the one with the leaves floating around her [raining leaves if you know what I mean] from the Yummy Tummy collection, so that the Sentiment on the front makes a little more sense!!)

********** UPDATE *********

Have just found a little more MoJo and finished doing the inside...

Doesnt look too bad for a first Easel type card!

Little Close up!

How the inside looks.

Thanks again for looking xx

Bearly Mine Designs Cards and Just Magnolia Challenge!

Hello :)

I've not done a lot of blogging of late, and finding it hard to juggle life and my hobby, when I go back to work, trying to juggle will become even harder!

Before I go onto my cards ...

I'd like to wish Kim a Happy Birthday for tomorrow. My DT buddie at La-La Land Crafts.
Kim has the cutest creations around and her blog always brings a smile to my face. She also recently won a contest - She drew a 'Sprout' design for Thre Greetings Farm to which they are going to make up her drawing into a stamp. You can find her winning design here! Go Visit her blog and see what I mean - Oh, and wish her a Happy Birthday when you get there :)
**********

I've had a play around with some christmas cards, and came up with these little cuties!!

The Bears are a freebie with a magazine which name escapes me at the moment, it was out last month!

Backing papers are Bearly Mine Designs and are from Designer Extreme Vol III!
Donna has a range of backing paper discs and insert discs, all of which can be found here!

Here is a little close up of the bears
These are examples of the cards, the same image has been used, but the reverse colour for the other four cards :D
Thanks for looking!

This week is Just Magnolias 26th week, the very talented Mina has come up with this fabulous sketch which I found was very easy to work with...

I saw somewhere in blog land that Magnolia were releasing their Halloween Collection, so I had to have some! This little cutie is called Witch Tilda with Small Pumpkins (I think lol)

A little close up of her
My flowers :D A girl has to have flowers!!!
I have used papers from Bearly Mine Designs Designer Extreme Vol III again. Disc three is full of papers for all occasions!
I coloured her using my Copics, and gave her a little shadowing around the bottom. I have used flowers and ribbon from my stash, the Spider at the top is a 'cake topper' which I found lying around, and the little 'Bat Stamp' in the opposite corner is from BoBunny. The Pumpkin Deco Pin is from Making Memories.

Thank you for looking :)

Just Magnolia Meets Friday Sketchers :D

OOooo I couldn't resist making a card for Just Magnolia and I found this brilliant sketch over at Friday Sketchers!! So I had to get our my papers and stash and off I went :D

Just Magnolia have the theme this week of Friendship - so anything you'd send a friend is ok by them (so long as you use a Magnolia Stamp!). I was a little put off by the Sketch at first because I didnt know what to do with it, but I started looking at my papers, and card, and then coloured little Tilda and this is the result of my little journey tonight. Its gone 1am, and I just didnt want to leave it til morning. What am I like haha!

This little Magnolias I got from my lovely DT buddie Vicki (Thank you sweetie :D )
I coloured her with Copics and highlighted her with Inkssentials pen.

The flowers are also a little pressie from Vicki :D I'd never used Prima flowers before and after being sent some by Vicki and my good friend Donna, I think I may have to buy some (Ok LOTS haha)

Here is a little close up of this cute little Tilda. She is so sweet.
These buttons I found in my stash draw and thought they'd be perfect for this card.
Charm and chain from my shop.
Ribbons are Baby Boom and I think you can find them here at Dot Com Gift Shop, however I bought them at a local shop. Leaves are from my L-em ash branch punch. Sentiment from Whiff of Joy
Papers are Papermania - Blueberry Hill and the Textured card stock is also from Papermania!

Thanks for popping by :D

Just Magnolia Week 15 ~ A sketch by Tab!

Over at Just Magnolias today, there is a fantastic sketch by the lovely and might I add, very talented Tab!

I decided to colour two images of Edwin with his surfboard this morning and depending on which one I liked best, I would make a card with. So off I went, inked and stamped, and coloured him twice!

Decisions...Decisions...Decisions....

I'm a woman and they don't come easy to me, so I decided to make two cards, the one I thought was the best I'd enter into the challenge - Again, I had to make a decision, other half was out working and Poppy fast asleep in her cot, so no easy option, so both of them are here!

Edwin in Orange
Close up of him...

Edwin in Teal...
(Sketch flipped on its side)
Close up of him...

There you have it, I don't know if you have a preference, but I liked them both and couldn't decide!

~ Recipe ~

Stamps : Edwin from the Summer Magnolia Collection (Which I'm in LOVE with)
Card/papers : Papers printed from Bearly Mine Designs Designer Extreme Vol I and II, Card from stash
Tools : Corner rounder punch from Woodware (I think)
Embellies : Ribbon from stash, Card Candy in orange and teal from Donna (Fanks again :oD ), Surfboard cut out from a post card I saw in a shop window and bought a couple.

Thank you for popping by and for any lovely comments you leave!
