5 Things...
1. This week I saw a golden eagle soaring over some water holding tanks.
I've never seen one there before...in all of these years. It was quite the sight.
2. I've been noticing the light in the hall in the mornings as I head out. The window at the far end spreads such interesting patterns and such, sometimes looking like a portal to another place. I've taken a few pics and altered many! Here is just one...other worldly!
3. I saw this guy driving this thing the other night. Not exactly made for rush hour traffic!
4. Vines that look like creatures climbing up the parking lot wall. They have bird feet!
5. J. was singing this line, so I had to listen!
And sing it myself!

Express yourself...last night, when the national news on TV went to commercial, I turned to a channel that features old programs, news etc and The Ed Sullivan Show...well, Santana was on and they played Jingo. So I needed to express myself, dancing around, singing at the top of my lungs...Rich came inside and said he could hear my caterwauling all over the place when he was outside...I guess I screech when I sing, not a good sound and the fact that he could hear me, when he wears a hearing aid in one ear and has a cochlear implant in the other,spoke volumes and it was not a good loud sound what so ever...think I will limit expressing myself to dance!!!!
Five things:
1. This week I walked down along the bay twice.
2. Today I saw a Bald Eagle. One of my coworkers thinks there is a pair nesting in the area.
3. The cherry blossoms are open.
4. California avocados are back in the store.
5. I am memorizing one of Wendell Berry's poems, "The Unseeable Animal."

I saw a Coot couple with their 6 redheaded chicks the other day!
Saskia~ Ooh...I had to go looking...I've never seen a coot chick before. They do indeed have red heads! Cool. If only my 'eyes' could pay the bills...I am a professional looker after all! Ha
