Este es un registro inedito de vídeo de conciertos at the Nippon Budōkan en Tokio los días 17 y 18 de diciembre 1982 . aparentemente La lista completa de canciones exacta se desconoce, pero he puesto las canciones en un orden que se podría esperar en los primeros conciertos de Ray en 1980.

Nota: Ray se quitó las gafas durante unos segundos. Rara vez se lo vio hacer eso en la cámara.

Un concierto muy emotivo para Ray Charles ya que festeja su cumpleaños número 70 con un recital muy particular.
Resulta que Charles tenia pensado tocar con su gran banda pero debido a una huelga de los controladores de tráfico aéreo en Lisboa, su famosa Big Band y quedó atrapada en el aeropuerto. Por lo que Ray llegó a París con un baterista, un guitarrista y un bajista. Y con ellos elaboró un nuevo espectáculo, activo y arreglos hechos en la habitación del hotel.
El resultado es este sensible y delicioso "LIVE AT THE OLYMPIA".
