Busqué por Internet más información sobre este Bootleg, pero no he podido encontrar nada debido a su rareza. Todo lo que puedo decir es que Stevie Ray Vaughan tenía sólo 22 años de edad y que este CD doble es una compilación de varias presentaciones en Stubb's BBQ Lubbock durante 1978.

Aunque Stevie Ray Vaughan era sobre todo un guitarrista de blues, su música y tocar la guitarra hace un llamamiento a la multitud de rock también. Sus versiones de clásicos de Hendrix le valió la reputación de un nuevo Jimi. Sin embargo, fue mucho más que una copia. Stevie fue inspirado por Hendrix, entre otros, pero, ante todo, él seguía siendo un hombre de blues. Incluso 16 años después de su muerte, su popularidad no ha disminuido, mientras que sus discos aún ocupan un rango alto en las listas de éxitos de blues. Vaughan se perdió en un laberinto de drogas y abuso del alcohol. Luego de lanzar su álbum en vivo Live Alive in 1986, se tomó un tiempo de espera para ingresar en rehabilitación y limpieza de su acto. En 1987, hizo una remontada tremenda en una gira por los EE.UU., incluyendo esta destacada actuación en Daytona Beach, Florida. Algo interesante sobre la guitarra que desempeñan en el video: "Stevie Ray Vaughan y Jimmie Vaughan ,tocaron una guitarra de doble cuello en forma de Stratocaster llamada "Family Guitar", construida by Robin Guitars of Houston, Texas. Esta guitarra tenía dos arce cuellos, cada uno con una longitud de escala diferente y puntiagudas una "pala invertida articulada de estilo con la fijación de los jefes de máquinas y estaba equipado con Río Grande pastillas single-coil. Este último se afina una octava más alta que una guitarra normal, produciendo un sonido más agudo similares a la de una mandolina. "

Stephen "Stevie" Ray Vaughan (3 de octubre de 1954 - 27 de agosto de 1990) fue un guitarrista y cantante que fusionó los géneros del blues y el rock en los años 80. Desarrolló un sonido y estilo, basado en artistas como Albert King, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie King u Otis Rush. La revista Rolling Stone lo cita como el séptimo mejor guitarrista de todos los tiempos.A los siete años tuvo su primera experiencia con una guitarra cuando le regalan una de juguete. En 1963 compró su primer disco, "Wham" de Lonnie Mack. Lo escuchó tantas veces que su padre lo terminó rompiendo de envidia puesto que él era un músico frustrado.
