Ünt Sun Envy - The Plunge NV075

Soft mid blue creme

The sun was briefly shining on this Easter Sunday so I'd thought I'd go with something soft and spring like

Ünt is a skincare and cosmetics company based out of Taiwan but who sell and market across the globe with free shipping to the UK. According to their website the name stands for Untitled, no mention of how that umlaut crept in!

I first discovered them through the recommendation of Simply Nailogical on youtube who raves about Ünt's peelable base coat (which isn't glue based like a lot of others) - and her bag of 'peelies' is surely a thing of wonder!

When placing my order for said basecoat I also added a handful of other items including this gel-effect polish.

The Plunge is a soft blue creme with maybe a hint of periwinkle?

Application was good and the swatches show 3 coats with no top coat.

I've had mixed results so far with the peelable based coat, more testing required!

Peggy Sage- Clementine

Soft orange creme

Sorry readers, I fell off the blogging bandwagon.... back on now

Peggy Sage is a French brand that I picked up from an private sale site that's based in France (unsurprisingly!).

Clementine is a soft orange creme, application was fine and these swatches are 2 coats.  I'm not usually an orange fan but the softness really makes this work.

This is one of their mini bottles, only 5ml, but then it only cost me £1.60!

Nails Inc November - Covent Garden Ballet

Soft warm grey with copper shimmer

Covent Garden Ballet is a gorgeous soft grey with a nicely visible fine copper shimmer.

My swatch pictures look to be running a little warm, it's definitely not a super cool grey but maybe not as warm as it looks here.

This polish does run sheer - swatches are 3 coats with no top coat

Luckily this polish is still available from Nails Inc - it looks to have been relaunched as a 'Ballet Sheer'.   Originally this was part of the 'A Listers' collection of four polishes back in 2012.

Nails inc describe it as being an iridescent pearl, I suppose that's what makes it look soft....

Nails Inc November - Porchester Place

Soft orange creme

Porchester Place is a creamy orange creme

Swatch shown is 2 coats, no top coat as usual and application was great as you'd expect from a nails inc creme.

Orange isn't usually my kinda colour but I like this one, the slight softness of the colour makes it work much better for me.

Alessandro - 356

Soft Coral with subtle shimmer

356 is a soft, almost peachy, coral creme with fine orange/gold shimmer, it's totally summery and would look great as a pedicure I'm sure.

Unfortunately the forumla is a bit odd on this one, it's very opaque but seems to pull away from itself and leave small baldish patches.

For this reason it look 3 coats to get to total opaqueness

This is the larger Alessandro bottle at 10ml but has the same lid shape and grip shape as yesterdays mini

Nails Inc - Great Windmill Street

Soft muted pink creme

Next in the pinks is Great Windmill Street

Great Windmill Street is a soft muted pink creme that has a slightly jelly/squishy finish and was also a little streaky, which took 3 coats to even out and you can still see a hint of vnl in the pics

This reminds me of a Zoya polish, Piper?  although I think that may have been more milky and opaque.

I like it but wish it wasn't a 3-coater...
