Purple shimmer
For the last day of a somewhat sporadic Nails Inc November I've chosen something with a hint of glitter.
Arlington Street is a gorgeous purple shimmer with lots of blue and pink micro-glitter. In the bottle there's a hint of duo-chrome but as you can see nothing that shows in my pics!
Application was ok, swatches are 3 coats and I do still have a couple of baldish patches.
Again I think this might've been a QVC exclusive but from a bottle comparison it looks to be very similar, if not a dupe of, Franklin's Row.

Nails Inc November - Curzon Street
Smoky brown creme
Nails Inc Curzon Street is a smoky brown creme. There's definitely a hint of grey and maybe green in there, this is not your standard chocolate brown.
Curzon Street was part of QVC's 5 piece Autumn/Winter collection back in 2009!
Amazing formula that is pretty much opaque in one coat
These swatches show 2 coats, out of habit, with no topcoat.

Nails Inc November - Belgrave Square Gardens
Warm red with gold shimmer
Belgrave Square Gardens was a QVC exclusive from the 4 Piece Party Toes Collection back in 2010.
I didn't buy that collection so this must've come to me via one of the many Nails Inc 'Lucky Dip' offers where you get 6 or 7 random polishes for £15-22, depending on the offer.
For someone with a nails inc collection as large as mine (over 500 unique colours) they can be a bit of a gamble but I've never received one where I had *all* the colours already, I've come close though!
Belgrave Square Gardens is a warm, slight rusty red shimmer with a fine gold shimmer running through. A very Christmassy colour, if it's not too early to mention the 'c' word!
Application was good and the swatches shown are 2 coats, with topcoat.
And Belgrave Square Gardens themselves are beautiful, surrounded by Embassies with a statue of Christopher Columbus and a tennis court but sadly private.

Nails Inc - Haverstock Hill
Warm dark silver shimmer
Haverstock Hill is a warm, dark silver shimmer. I know warm silver is a strange description but I couldn't think of a better term, this isn't beige or brown or taupe but there's definitely a slight warm brown feeling to it.
This polish is from a QVC collection back in 2012, I think.
Swatch shown is 2 coats, with no top coat. It's a little thin, I probably should've done 3 coats and apologies for the slightly messy swatch, I didn't do cleanup on these for some reason!

Final Nails Inc November - Rainbow Street
Multicoloured glitter bomb
So for the last polish in Nails Inc November I thought I'd break out the glitter....
Rainbow Street came as part of a 7-piece QVC TSV.
You can see the texture in this sunlight shot...
Rainbow Street is a multicoloured glitter with red, purple, blue gold, silver and pink large glitter pieces in a clear base. This has pretty good coverage, you might get to full coverage with 3 or 4 coats.
The glitter dries bumpy, my swatch is without top coat, you'd need a couple of coats of a good thick, levelling top coat to even this one out.
Swatch shown is 2 coats over yesterday's Primrose Park - you can still see the base colour but not too much.
Phew, so my nails inc month is over.
I think the challenge of all nails inc, all month kept my momentum going - after last month this has been my highest number of posts in a month. Although it hasn't made a huge dent in the number of unswatched/unshown nails inc in my collection!! Unfortunately I don't have the kind of job/life to be able to blog every day....
I hope you enjoyed this small window into my nails inc obsession!

Nails Inc November - Sheraton Street
Dusky blue creme
Sheraton Street is a gorgeous dusky blue creme.
This could probably be a one-coat wonder if you were careful
Swatch shown in 2 coats with no topcoat.
This was part of a QVC 7 Piece All Style Collection which contained cremes, shimmers, sprinkles and glitter polishes. But this one called to me straight away and I wasn't disappointed.
It's not as bright or as turquoise as the classic For Audrey.

Nails Inc November - Special Effects/Mirror Metallic - Swiss Cottage
Green/Gold/Turquoise Duochrome Metallic
Swiss Cottage is one of 3 polishes I picked up recently from QVC as a Mirrored Metallic Collection and it's definitely the stand-out although perhaps not too unique.
And being a duochrome I took lots of pics to capture the colour shift.
Swiss Cottage has a base green colour which sometimes looks more blue/green with a strong gold duochrome.
Swatch is 2 coats with no top coat.
In the sunlight picture it loses all the duochrome but shows a very pretty fine sparkle.
It's definitely in the same family as Chanel's Peridot (and dupes) although I think Swiss Cottage might be more green/blue leaning and less warm gold than Peridot, but only a comparison will tell!

Nails Inc November - Holbein Place
Denim blue pearly shimmer
Holbein Place is from a QVC party collection, possibly Winter 2010
It's a deep denim blue pearly shimmer, verging on metallic I suppose.
Swatch show is just one coat and no top coat.
Love the colour and I love a one-coater which means I can forgive the slight frostiness of the finish.

Nails Inc - Wyndham Place
Deep raspberry with fine sparkle
Wyndham Place is another from QVC, from the 8 piece Runway Ready collection that was a TSV back in August.
Nails inc describe this as metallic purple but I think that's a bit misleading, I'd describe this as a deep raspberry/plum with lots of very fine pink and blue sparkle/fine glitter.
It's very pretty although not very unique.
Swatch shown is 3 coats, no top coat.

Nails Inc - Wardour Mews
Purple/lilac foil with golden shimmer
Wardour Mews is part of a QVC collection I picked up a few months ago.
The collection of four polishes was called 'Midas Touch' and was billed as a collection of sparkly polishes.
To be fair some of the collection are less sparkly than others, IIRC there were two sparkly foils (like Wardour Mews) and two cremes with more subtle sparkly shimmery accents. I was quite happy with them but the reviews on QVC were pretty mixed due to the non-sparkliness!
Wardour Mews is a purple toned lilac with gold shimmer, so much shimmer it's pretty much a foil
Swatch shown is 3 coats, it was fairly sheer.
The finish is similar to the Orly Cosmic fx collection but I don't think there was a dupe of this colour?
From looking at swatch pictures it could be similar to OPI's It's My Year?

Nails Inc - Prince Albert Road
Purple toned Blue shimmer
Prince Albert Road was part of a QVC set called OMG! that I couldn't resist. OMG! is a small collection of 3 shimmery, almost foil finish polishes.
Application was great, this was 2 coats, but you could probably get away with 1 if you were careful.
The finish is very shimmery, almost a foil really. I love the finish and the colour, a win for me.

Fried Green Tomatoes
Another installment of green week
This is Battersea Park from Nails Inc

It's a khaki green creme and this is two coats with no top coat, as ever application was faultless.
Another one that looks different on the nail - perhaps it's a green trait? It's more olive tinged and dusty on the nail.
This was part of the Handbag Collection which I think was exclusive to QVC, IIRC they sold matching handbags in the same colours (I'm missing the handbag gene!)

Jermyn Street Glitter
Another quick Christmas mani posting.
This is Jermyn Street Glitter from Nails Inc.
It's a special glitter mini version produced for a recent QVC TSV. With all the recent work madness I missed the TSV but really wanted to try the glitter version of Jermyn Street.
Thankfully my lovely BFF gifted it to me for Christmas. I didn't open her gifts until yesterday but wanted to try this straight away.
Jermyn Street is one of those mushroomy/taupey colours and the original is a defnite favourite of mine. The glitter in this version is silver and pretty fine but enough to lift the colour.
In comparison here's a very old and messy shot of the original Jermyn Street

And one of my first posts was a taupe comparison including Jermyn Street and $OPI Metro Chic
nails inc is a UK based nail bar chain who also sell their polish & treatments through stores, online and QVC. They began in London and all polishes are named after London streets. I've never had one of their mani's but I do have a *lot* of their polishes!
Jermyn Street is mostly known for it's gentleman's outfitters, a place for men to buy shirts, both made to measure and off the peg.
