Sorry about the lack of posts lately. Work is being a pain. Hopefully I'll be back to my regular posting schedule soon.
Fortunately I'm loving this NOTD. China Glaze Fly is such a pretty shimmery pink color. Love it.
I've worn this before when I had longer nails. Wearing it again sort of makes me want long nails, but at the same time I like short nails as well. I do with my nails were a little more square in shape, but it's such high maintenance.
The polish is a very pretty, bright polish with nice subtle shimmer. I think it's great for making a dark winter day a little warmer and more fun :)
The weather is pretty depressing at the moment, so I wanted to wear a BRIGHT nail polish. I decided on B-Girlz from the Kicks collection. This is a lovely bright pink with very subtle shimmer. I was a little disappointed in how sheer it was. I needed three coats, and even then it wasn't completely opaque.
Something about this color just isn't working for me. I think it might be the shade of green, or maybe it's just the time of year. I took three coats to get good coverage, but application was pretty painless.
With macho basecoat:
I've had a few people ask what NOTD stands for lately. It is short for Nail Of The Day :)
And today my NOTD is China Glaze Custom Kicks from the new(ish) Kicks collection. Custom Kicks is one of the shimmers in the collection. It is bright, but not quite Neon. Application was good. I use three coats.
