Knitted Hat

More knitting from me. This time a hat, Norwegian pattern.

Baby Cowls

Well, - I have not been making cards for weeks. No inspiration! Hope the inspiration will turn back again soon.

But I've been knitting baby cowls and also socks for adults. For these cowls I used Baby Cotton yarn. They are soft and warm for small people.

Christmas Decoration, Angels

These two angels I will put on the tree or hang them in the window. But to make this photo I now let them lie on the table. The dress is meant to be bent back.

Die: Marianne Design. Light blue patterned paper: Sigel.

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Mother's Day

Today we have another challenge for you over at Cuttlebug Mania.
In some countries we are celebrating Mother's Day in May,
and this is also our theme for this challenge.

I made a little box and used:
Nellie's Wrapping Box die.
The flowers are also from the same die set.
Leaves: Elizabeth Curvy leaves dies.
WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card die
on the back side of the box.

The paper for the box is Panduro "Paper Pad Pearl".
Paper for the leaves: Scraps from Dovercraft "Garden Party".
Yellow, creme and purple scrap papers.
Gems.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Vaskeklut

Her er vaskevotten "Vaske-Vått", design: Bitta Mikkelborg.

Book Mark / Lesezeichen / Bokmerke

I made this book mark some days ago
as I was doing my Bible Art Journaling.
The text from Psalm 92 says
"It is good to thank the Lord".
The book mark is made with hand writing and doodling
on white card stock.

Spring Tag

I made a little tag today.

I used:
White cardstock,
Yellow scrap paper.
Tag die: Spellbinders.
Background made with Dylusions Ink Spray and a stencil.
Leaves: Cottage Cutz "Ivy" die.
Flower: EK Success punch.
Glitter glue and brown distress ink on the flower.
Brown pen around the edges.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Palm Sunday Bible Journaling

This is not a card.
I only wanted to use this little Donkey
for my Bible Journaling today.
The image is from Beccy.
Also the sentiment is from her.
The Bible text is Marc 11,1-11,
and my Journaling Bible is written in German.

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge "With All My Heart"

Today we have a new Cuttlebug Mania Challenge for you.
We want you to make a project with hearts.

I made a chocolate box for Valentine's Day
and filled it with heart chocolates.

Red card stock,
Scrap papers, different colours.

Pot Holders

First of all
I want to say a warm welcome to my newest follower,
KT Fit Kitty.

One of my hobbies is knitting.
This year I have knitted some pot holders.
The patterns on the first picture I've designed myself.

The two next patterns are from Drops Design.
I changed the colours of the tulip pattern a little bit .

Yarn: Drops "Safran", cotton.

Wolle: 65% Schurwolle, 35% Alpaca.
Hier sind einige von den Stirnbändern.

Birthday Tag

I made a simple birthday tag
with this cute image from Beccy.
Tag die: Spellbinders.
Red and pink pens,
Red ribbon.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Julegrytekluter

Christmas Box

Just now I am trying to make box cards and mall boxes.
A couple of weeks ago I bought an envelope punch board,
and I am learning how to be comfortable
with this (for me) quite new tool.
Here is my first Christmas box.
Inside there are 4 tea lights.
But I think I also will use boxes like this one for candies.

Recipe:
Creme paper,
Red and green scrap papers.
Embossing folder: Swiss Dots (Cuttlebug).
Spellbinders Poinsettia and Circle dies.
Brown distress ink, silver glitter.

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: A Handmade Gift

Over at Cuttlebug Mania we have a new challenge for you today:
"Handmade Gift ideas".
I made a gift for a 3 month old baby.
I knitted a cowl / neck warmer
and wrapped in cellophane.
(The cowl fits 3 - 6 months.)
Around the "package" I wrapped a stripe of creme paper.
Beside the sentiment
there is enough place to write a personal greeting.
Recipe:
Baby cotton yarn,
Creme paper,
Creme, lilac and pink scrap papers,
Spellbinders Circle die,
Lifestyle doily die,
Spellbinders heart die,
Rhine stone,
Lilac pen.
Sentiment: Beccy.

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge. We're back!

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge is back after the summer break.
This time we want you to make
"Anything But A Card".
Please take a look at our blog. There are som changes.

I made three candle rings with self made flowers.
The paper rings I have had for years,
but I thought they needed some colour.
Papers: Green, purple and creme snippets.
Dies: Cottage Cutz "Ivy",
Punches: EK Success and Gütermann.
I also used some glitter and pistils for the flowers.

Here are all the rings together.

The candle rings on the candlestick.

A closer photo of one of the rings.

Kluter i "krokusfarger"

I min barndoms hage hjemme i Bergen,

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Ribbon and Bows

It is Tuesday,
and that means a new challenge over at Cuttlebug Mania.
Today the theme is "Ribbon and Bows".

I made a candy box with place for 3 "Branches" chocolates.
They are popular here in Switzerland.
The box is made with a WeR Memory Keepers Candy Box punch.
Dies used:
Label (Papirdesign), "Ivy" (Cottage Cutz), Butterfly (Studio Light "Home and Happiness").
Flowers: EK Success punch.
I also used distress ink, glitter and rhinestones.
Rabbit image: Free Dearie Dolls.
Scrap papers, different colours and purple ribbons.
Easter wish written on my computer.
On one of the sides there is place to write a greeting.
