Hallo,
I have had this beauty colored up for awhile and decided it was high time she got finished - I went on quite a coloring binge with my Sweet Peas, so now I have a huge stash of images colored up and waiting for their turn to be finished off :)
This image is Wither by Rebecca Sinz and I colored her with my prismacolor pencils and cut her out with a Spellbinders die. I found some pretty butterfly paper that looked great with the colors and used it as background but I also fussy cut several butterflies too - I cut out 2 of the little blue one that sits on top of her wing so I could layer him up for a bit more dimension.
I inked up some white flowers to match and then added glitter - I used stickles ice so clear except the sparkles to her wings, the butterflies, and the flowers, lastly I added a few gold corner stickers.
All for now - Have a great day!!!

Featured Artist Week - Rebecca Sinz Wither
Rebecca Sinz makes pictures that very much speaks to me. They're so full of emotion and very very versatile. I chose Wither for this weeks Featured Artist. It's this beautiful dark angel with a withering rose. But the beauty of coloring your own images, is you can totally change it, just by adding different colors. So I went for a more spring like feel with my card.
As always I used my beloved Copics to color her. These are the ones I used:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E13
Wings: G43, G40, G20, YG0000, C00, BV0000, BV000
Hair: E50, E23, E25, E27
Dress: V20, V22, V25, V28
Leaves: YG61, YG63, YG67
Red: R14, R24, R59
Background: C00, B60
And I just couldn't help it. It's another easel card :) But I really think the beautiful image deserves that extra attention it gets, from the easel fold.
To make it even more spring like, I cut out vines using my Silhouette Cameo, and added som white and purple flowers. With a few doilies, some lace and a pearl-string-thread, I thought the card was pretty much finished.
This image can be found in the Sweet Pea Stamp store as a digi and rubber stamp.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Variations Week: Holley's View
Here's a stunning image from Sweet Pea artist Rebecca Sinz called Wither. This gorgeous stamp is available both in rubber or in digital format. Be sure and click the link to see the artist's original coloring as I did my card using totally different colors so you can see a different way to feature this image.
Here's a great close up of the image itself; isn't it great to see all the designers are making cards using this same stamp. What a great way to see how many different things you can create with the same image!
Hope this card gives you more ideas for using Rebeca Sinz's Wither.
Cheers, Holley

I also added some Crackle Accents to the roses just to add some fun of texture.

Crate Paper
Copics
MS Punch
Seam Binding Ribbon
Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers
Crackle Accents

This is my take on this stamp.
This is my take on this stamp.
I found the saying, which I thought was so appropriate by Tim Holtz
The background paper is by American Crafts
The flowers are from Prima flowers
The image, and flowers were colored by copics.
Enjoy the rest of the cards for variations week, I can't wait to see what everybody came up with!
Variations Week-Danni's View
It's time for one of my most favorite weeks at Sweet Pea Stamps~~Variations Week! This is a week each month where all the designers are given an image to work with and we all create a project using that image. It's so fun to see all possibilities with the same image!! Be sure to visit the Sweet Pea Stamps Blog each day to see what everyone came up with!!
This month we are using a digi stamp by Rebecca Sinz called Wither. You can find this digi~ HERE or also in rubber form~ HERE!
One of the reasons I love when we do these weeks is that it helps you see stamps in a different light. I have bypassed this stamp numerous times in the store thinking "it's not for me" but oh my!! What a beautiful stamp and I had so much fun coloring it up!!
Wither is colored with copics and then paired with Bazzill's Wayfarer designer paper. I inked all the edges of the papers with Delicata Golden Glitz ink. Some stickles and pearls finish off the card.
Have a fabulous crafty day!

Variations Week - Ali's View
It's Variations Week once again, where all the Design Team get to create with the same image. This month we are using Rebecca Sinz's gorgeous Wither:
I love Rebecca's gothic women and this pretty stamp is no exception. I coloured her with my Promarkers in pretty pastel shades and cut her out using a decorative oval frame:
I used some vintage style papers for my card and finished things off with some delicate flowers...
....and some Perlen Pen flourishes:
This stamp is available in red rubber or digi format from the Sweet Pea Stamps store.

Kym's Weekly Post - Sunday 12/1/14
It is time for Variations Week over at the Sweet Pea Stamps Blog. This is whereby all the Design Team use the same image to make their cards/creations.
For the month of January 2014 the Variations Week image is "Wither" by Rebecca Sinz. This image is available as a digital stamp and rubber stamp.
I have coloured my image in with my Graph'it pens, edged around the image with Tim Holtz's Fired Brick and Aged mahogany distress ink and then finally brushed on some white gesso.
The backing papers I have used are from my stash. On the checked backing paper I have used a harlequin mask and inked through with the Aged Mahogany distress ink. On two corners I have painted on white gesso and some glitter. The border is a heart mask, run through my Grand Caliber to emboss the heart and lightly inked over with the Fired Brick distress ink. I had drew a heart, covered with white gesso, sprinkled with some glitter and inked with Aged Mahogany distress ink. The card is finished off with a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment, ribbon from a box of chocolates (long eaten!!) and rose flowers and pearl embellishment.
Make sure you pop on over to the Sweet Pea Stamps Blog during the week to see the variety of cards/creations made with "Wither" by Rebecca Sinz.

I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens and inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Spiced Marmalade and Peeled Paint distress inks. The backing papers I was given. I have put some green card through my new spotty Die'sire embossing folder I got for Christmas.
I have finished the card off with some cream flowers which I have inked with Spiced Marmalade distress ink, ribbon, gems, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and a die-cut butterfly.
