Variations Week: Alex's View

I adore the image Winter Eyes that we are all working with this week.  I love seeing all the variations from the DT.  I decided to pair this lovely image with paper from the Tell Your Story paper pack from Teresa Collins and one of the Dies by SCACD that has butterflies in it to bring out the butterflies in the image.  The bit of lace added just a touch more softness and feminine feel.

Variations Week: Holley's View

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a wonderful week.  Here's my card using this month's variation stamp from artist Karen Middleton called "Winter Eyes."  My coloring is quite different from the artist's depiction (click here).  I wanted to use bright spring colors to lighted the stamp with a pink background.
The lace here was some that I picked up from Istanbul and the fun Explore sticker is metallic and bright pink, but the flash on the camera makes the shimmer look dark. I added a vellum saying "Beautiful You" because this woman certainly is beautiful.  Take a look at all the other images from Karen Middleton, she has some gorgeous lady images, I esp love the face stamps she makes of women and she also has some adorable fairy images of little girls.

Have a great week!

Cheers, Holley

Variations Week: Jennifer's View

Karen Middleton's Winter Eyes is such a lovely image and so versatile, she could be laying down or standing against a tree, how neat is that! Now you can pick this beautiful stamp up in rubber or digi in the Sweet Pea Stamps store - why not hop on over there and check out all the fantastic stamps offered!

It was colored with copics and the papers are prima.

Variations Week: Connie's View

This is my interpretation of this gorgeous stamp
made by artist Karen Middleton
exclusively for
You will find her for a
very good price, without getting an entire plate.

I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out.
I popped her up against a panel embossed with a folder
by Darice so it seemed as if she was
leaning against a tree.

Tiny butterfly is by die from
Cheery Lynn Designs and the words were cut
from a die by Die Versions, gem from
my stash.
Be sure to check back to see what the rest of the DT
did with this same image!

Variations Week: Karina's View

Hello dear Sweet Pea Stamps lovers, we have variations week again... love it!! It always is so great to see what everyone is creating with the same image. For this week we made a project with  Winter Eyes by the fabulous artist Karen Middleton.

I coloured this beautiful image with Copics and added quite some sparkling to her wings and the butterflies.

Thank you so much for looking. Hope you get some inspiration while your stay here.

Have a magical day now!
Hugs, Karina
