Simple Brown Hair using Teeny Tiny from Elizabeth Bell

Hi All - today I am here to share the second clip from my fairy card, using a truly beautiful image drawn by Elizabeth Bell - Teeny Tiny from the Twinkle Toes series.
Lots of people have trouble colouring hair when they start using Copic markers - they look at images coloured by others where the hair is truly stunning (just take a look at the colouring by the Sweet Pea Stamps DT members and you'll see what I mean) and think that this amazing hair is what they should be doing.  Needless to say hair like that takes practice, so where do you start as a beginner?  In the following clip I will show you one way to colour brown hair, which is especially suited to smaller images and beginning Copic users.  I hope you enjoy watching this.

Kate has a new YouTube video

Kate has a new YouTube video showing you how to create a soft and simple dotted background using Copic markers and Distress ink.  This soft and slightly shabby chic background is perfect for cards and is easy to create.
Kate has used this technique to create a background on her card designed to focus attention on the gorgeous main image, which is Teenie Tiny by Elizabeth Bell, available only from Sweet Pea Stamps as as a rubber stamp.

Kate has used co-ordinating colours across the whole card, main image, background and embellishments to create a slightly shabby spring feel.

Check out the video below to see how Kate created this soft spotty background.

Have a magical day,
Kate

Connie-Floral Gift Card

This little pretty comes to you courtesy of
Elisabeth Bell titled
"Lazy Daisy"
from her Twinkle Toe series for
Sweet Pea Stamps.

A friend (who loves the color orange)
just had a baby girl so of course I
thought of this Sweet Pea Stamps image.
The card itself is fairly simple since
there isn't enough room on a card this
size to add much bling.
I sized it to fit the small card stick that comes with
a pot of flowers as you can see at the bottom.
I used Copics for color and cut some tiny
butterflies with dies by
Cheery Lynn Designs
for oomph!
Thanks for stopping by!

Twinkle Toes Fleur

This stamp is just adorable and it's perfect for summertime!  It's called Twinkle Toes Fleur by artist Elisabeth Bell.  I can't imagine anything cuter than this little girl dancing around with her fairy wings and her little flower skirt. I added some gorgeous lace and a little bling to top it off.
Here's a close-up of the stamp image, which I have colored with Copic Markers.  Isn't it adorable?  The Sweet Pea store just released new stamps by artist Elisabeth Bell in addition to this cutie.  I would laugh and say that wouldn't it be funny if there were flowers taller than her, but even in Texas, where we lack water (and sometimes good soil) the sunflowers do grow taller than even me at 5'4", so I think the flowers could easily be taller than this kiddo.
Hope this card has inspired you to make something adorable for summertime.  Check out all the Elisabeth Bell stamps and check out the wonderful stamps on sale at the store.

Cheers, Holley

Teenie Tiny

Hi everyone, when I saw this little cutie sitting there under the big mushroom I fell in love with her immedieately. Since today I have her in my hands and had to play with her immediately. This sweet little fairy is from Elisabeth Bell's Twinkle Toe serie called 'Teenie Tiny'.

I coloured her with Distress Inks and gave some accents with Twinklings H2O. I love those colours as they give a bit of a shimmer which isn't viewable on the pics. I also added some yellow stickles to her wings which isn't to see very well.

Thank you so much for looking. Check all the gorgeous new releases Sweet Pea Stamps just had. And there is still a fabulous Sale going on. You don't want to miss!

Have a magical day!
Hugs, Karina

Such cute fairies from Elisabeth Bell

Here's a wonderful Sweet Pea image from artist Elisabeth Bell called Twinkle Toes Crocus.  She's just delightful.  I added some wonderful shimmer to her wings and her scarf using stickles and double layered her on cardstock before putting her on a Bazzill Swiss 6x6" card front.
I topped off the card with some gorgeous ribbon from Prima and some pen work with my Souffle.  Here's a slight enlargement of the stamped image.  Can't you always tell when the image comes from Elisabeth Bell?

Here's another wonderful Elisabeth Bell image.  I added a perfect little sentiment to go with this wonderful card,  "All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today."  I love this adorable little fairy girl holding a beautiful flower.  I stickled up her wings to give her some bling.    She's definitely going to be gorgeous blooming flower of tomorrow.  This adorable stamp is called Gum Nut Fairy.
To create this card I used a 6x12" sheet of printed cardstock and trimmed the end of a sheet, I added a gorgeous punched border at the bottom along with a torn edge of black paper to the base.  The white paper you see at the bottom is the inside (i.e. the backside of the folded card).    The three layers of paper on the front give the card a rich layered look.

Check out all of Elisabeth Bell's adorable images at the Sweet Pea store.  They make the dearest cards.

Connie-Twinkle Toes "Bubbles"

This adorable stamp is done for
Sweet Pea Stamps by artist
Elisabeth Bell from her
Twinkle Toes series titled
"Bubbles"
and you will find it

Of course I had to make a bubble backdrop!
I inked several round objects for my bubbles and added
some I-Candi by Craftworkcards
that were custom colored with Copic markers.
The glitzy butterfly is from Michaels
and the large layered circle was done
with a Martha Stewart circle cutter.
This tool works wonderfully!
(I just need to work on placing the layers)

The second one features once again
©Elisabeth Bell's Flit and this time ©Elisabeth Bell's Twinkle Toes Flutter - again you can view these here.

Thought I would enjoy colouring Twinkle Toes Flutter the most but I have to say having coloured all three I haven't a favourite - they are all so cute.
