Connie-Same Stamp Different Looks

Today I'd like to show you 3 different cards made from the same stamp so you can see just how versatile Sweet Pea stamps really are.
I began with a stamp by Samantha Rawlings from plate #58
which you will find
for this card I also used a phrase stamp from plate #2
Supplies:
floral edger punch by EKSuccess
Viva Decor Pearl Pen
gem and dp unknown
I fussy cut the image after coloring with Copic markers
and popped it with foam tape

for this card I embossed the
Happy Birthday folder in my Cuttlebug and
cut the frame using Spellbinders "Labels 9" dies.
Other supplies were:
Stardust Gelly Roll pen by Sakura
Copic markers
star brad from my stash
I sponged light blue ink around the frame but it is hard to see in my scan.

For my final card I used the paper piecing technique,
matching the dress to the designer paper.
Other supplies used:
SpellBinders "Labels 14"
Copic markers
Stardust Gelly Roll pen by Sakura
sticker words by Class A Peels
ribbon and dp unknown
I edged the mat with a Copic marker which
is hard to see in the scan.

I know that I could have gotten even more cards from
this very versatile image, but I am already behind on one of
the birthdays so had to get them finished and mailed.
Thanks for looking

Have a Fairy Happy Birthday!

This sweet image is from Samantha Rawlings Little Sweethearts collection. She is called Little Fairy and you can find her on Plate #58. I just love this sweet girl. This image I colored with different shades of watercolor pencils and then used a blender pen to mix the colors together.
I used a set of Nestabilities to cut out the saying from plate#34. This fairy saying used on this card is on a wonderful sheet of images from Elaine Cox. I love to use the Fairy Happy Birthday saying all the time! I added a cute mix of red/black embellishments to finish the card along with dusting the edges of the card with some Colorbox Chalk ink in black.
Bonus Card, I saw this stamp on sale on the Sweet Pea website and just had to show you a wonderful card with it. I just love this image from ching chou kuik called Blue Eye Fairy.

The beautiful hair of this maiden so made me fall in love with her! She is on sale for 50% off!! WOW. Only $2.64. Take a peek at all the sale items by clicking HERE, this image is many pages into the sale section.

Have a stampin' great day!

Thanks a munch

Ok, so it's a slightly corny sentiment, but I wanted this to be a thank-you card and this is the best I could do, lol. I hope it makes sense to you using "munch" instead of "bunch". I'd definitely like to munch some of those cakes!
Since I've been a bit tired of Halloween and autumn themed cards I decided on something totally different. It might have been a good idea to start on my Christmas cards, but that would be out of character for me. Why not saving it until the very last minute instead, lol.

So for today's card I've been colouring one of Samantha Rawling's cuties called cake girl. I got myself these patterned papers a while ago and as soon as the stamp came through my mailbox I've been wanting to use them together.

She is coloured with my promakers and cut out using one of the nestabilities. The edges are "burnt" with walnut stain distress ink. The little tag is a cuttlebug die and the text is written by hand (it shows unfortunately) I like how the smaller squares turned out. I rounded  two corners - diagonally. I think it creates a look like they are spritzed out, kind of like whipped cream or even the girl's hat. I also added some glitter to some of the details on the patterned paper and a little liquid pearls to the whipped cream on the girl's piece of cake

Connie-Eat More Cake!

Isn't she just the cutest?
You can find many more cuties over at
Sweet Pea Stamps
Especially those Samantha Rawlings images.

I stamped the girl and colored with Copic markers.
Then I added some Scribbles 3D paint in shiny white to the brim of her hat.
IRL it stands out but my scanner doesn't want to share.
I have a closer view below but still not showing well.

The tiny red brad in the verse is from Oriental Trading,
the paper by 7 Gypsies.
Thanks for looking!

Little Pirate and Ready for Bed

I created 2 cards with 2 of Samantha Rawlings images Sheet #1 Plate #58 at Sweet Pea Stamps. This first one is Little Pirate. I colored her with copics and used some distressing inks to age the paper. The sentiment is from a ching chou kuiks set. I added some Daisy D's DP to a piece of chipboard and then stamped the BELIEVE on it.

I added a vinyl decorative border from K&Company. The newspaper DP is also from Daisy D's.

This sweet little image is called Ready For Bed.

I added a spellbinder cut out classic die frame and covered it with glitter and added some adhesive stars in pink to the background.

Go check out Sweet Pea Stamps and see what they have new and what's soon to come!
We have so many new stamps available and soon to be released.
I added some pastel chipboard hearts and the sentiment is also from the same set.

Thanks for stopping by.

Ready For Bed

Samantha Rawlings is one of the fabulous artists that designs for Sweet Pea Stamps. I love her drawings and this sweetie, Ready For Bed from Plate #58, is a perfect example!

I used some of the sweet Nerdy Birdy paper from Sassafrass Lass for the background and colored her with markers. I wanted to keep things fairly simple and focus on the adorable little girl with her blanket and bunny.

Eat More Cake!

Truer words have never been spoken! I love this Little Sweetheart by Samantha Rawlings for Sweet Pea Stamps!
You get the fabulous sentiment when ordering the full plate - and the other three cuties as well. No brainer-right?

Sweet Little Girls

I just love the newest designer's, Samantha Rawlings, images. They are so sweet with their wide eyed look.

This one is called Little Fairy, she is stamped in black and colored with watercolors and pencil. To eliminate the starkness of the white paper it is stamped on I added yellow and blue green chalks. The skirt, wings, shoes and accessories are highlighted/colored with glitter pens.

This one is called Little Cake Girl isn't she sweet??? No pun intended ;-) She was colored with copics, the background papers are DCWV.

You can find these and many more of the newest line on the Sweet Pea site  Have a great weekend!
