Melissa Dawn Plate 146:
Today I have cards featuring the gorgeous images from the Melissa Dawn collection. Both images can be found on plate #146. They were both colored with copics.
This lovely image is titled December Wings. Papers are from the Immortal Collection (DCWV). I painted the wings with Illuminate Smooch - really gorgeous shimmer the scanner can't pick up.
For the animal lovers a cat themed Christmas card with the image titled Phantom of the Masquerade.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit today and check out all the gorgeous images in the Melissa Dawn collection!

Connie-"Fall Feline"
I've been noticing some of our leaves turning colors here in
South Dakota and thought this image from plate #146 by Melissa Dawn
for my project this week.
It is (very aptly I thought) titled
"Autumn Cat Magic"
Supplies used:
Copic markers
Tuxedo Black dye ink by Memento
Distress ink "Spun Sugar" by Ranger
Marvy dye ink "Salvia Blue"
Stardust clear glitter pen by Gellyroll
Flourish die by Cheery Lynn Designs
DP by K & Co. "Hopscotch"
leaf & cardstock from my stash
I sponged Distress and Marvy inks around the image to
set off the mostly white cat in the center of the stamp scene
which was colored by Copic markers, then matted and affixed
to DP and then base.
A simple salute to autumn yes?
This artist, Melissa Dawn, is anything but simple so
please check out her gorgeous stamps
Thanks for looking and thanks for your kind comments
on my project.

A mixture of Artist
Hi everyone. Today I have a card to share with you using Rebecca Sinz's "The Ghost" . Which is available at Sweet Pea Stamps on Sheet #1/ Plate #147.
I really love this image and wanted to color the cracked wall something other than gray and as soon as I found this paper I knew what I wanted to do.
I used Melissa Dawn's "Phantom of the Masquerade" and this image can be found on sheet #2 Plate #146 or it can also be purchased as a single at Sweet Pea Stamps. If you haven't checked out the store recently you really should as we have soooo many new stamps and artist, a little something for everyone.
The image was colored with copics and a clear sakura pen for the glitter effect.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day and week.
Hugs:)
Angela
