Dreams of Iris

Good Morning. Are you al ready for this weekend? Well this weekend I am going to kick it off with an image from Ching Chou Kuik. Her name is Dreams of Iris and she is available in digi or rubber

I colored her with copics and paired her with some fun Basic Grey papers. I also added some liquid pearls, a fun Prima flower, and some leaf trim I have had stashed for a while.

Miss You

Here's a stunning image from Sweet Pea artist ching-chou kiuk. This stamp is called Dream of Iris . I love the forlorn look on her face. I think she goes well with the Miss You sentiment from Plate #98.I used a wonderful shimmery cardstock as the base of this card and a Martha Stewart corner punch. I colored the image using Copic Markers and cut it out with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I covered the edges of the die cut with black ink and the image of the card with white ink. I added white cardstock inside the card to make the corners stand out with a white background.

Project Materials: Cardstock (Hobby Lobby, Neenah); Ink (Memento, Stazon White, Colorbox Chalk); Rubber Stamps(Sweet Pea); Corner Punch (Martha Stewart); Adhesives (Popdots, Glue All); Color (Copic Markers); DieCut (Spellbinders-Nestabilities);

Dream of Iris

Hi Everyone,

I decided to create something other than a card. I used some Maya Road chipboard, ribbon and colored chin-chou kuik's Dream of Iris:

Dream of Iris is stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with watercolors. Wanting something a little different, I used Spellbinders Peony die to diecut the image.

I used Wild Plum Paint Dabber followed by Dusty Concord Distress Stain on the chipboard piece and set that aside to dry. The large flower diecut from deep purple card stock was from my stash. I curled the petals and then used Perfect Pearl Mist to add some shimmer. I also added some to the now dried chipboard.

Then I found a piece of white crepe paper and randomly spritzed it with Wild Plum and Sailboat Blue Adirondack Color Wash.

The crepe paper is attached to the back of the image panel which I then adhered to the large flower. The scalloped chipboard is the bottom layer. I added some rhinestones and purple ribbon and voila, I now will have some beautiful enchantment while driving to work - I'll be hanging this beauty from my rear view mirror :-).
