Alice in Red...and Pink.

Stamp: Elaine Cox "Croquet Game", Plate #35

My favorite costume in the new Alice movie is Alice's red dress! I also stamped a little heart on her dress, but I got carried away with my flowers and didn't realize I covered it up. The background is one of the new Tim Holtz embossing folders. Love them! And I embossed and sprayed pink card stock with some Apricot and Strawberry Shortcake Chalkboard Glimmer Mist.

Can you believe it's Summer already?!? Here's a Summer inspired ATC. This Elaine Cox mermaid cutie is one of my favs. I just love that little frog!

Stamp: Elaine Cox "Little River Mermaid", Plate #34

The chunky glitter on her tail is one of my all time favs: Ice Stickles in Coffee

Thanks for stopping by!

Anyone for a game?

I am really enjoying the revival of Alice In Wonderland. I read the book and also Through the Looking Glass as a child and thoroughly enjoyed them. I will admit to probably being the only person in the world that has not seen the Walt Disney version, but am looking forward to seeing the newest one.
This image is from the Elaine Cox's Art Collection and not only has she provided some fabulous images inspired by Alice In Wonderland, but she has several owls, mermaids and fairies to offer as well. Elaine has a wonderful and whimsical style I adore!

Connie's creations included an image from the ching chou kuik's collection:

Soft Goth Night
Supplies:
Designer papers and cardstock by Daisy D's and DCWV
Metal frame by Studio K
Spellbinder's Classic Frame die
Proco Craft "Fancy Borders" die
Creative Memories cutting system
Pearls and rhinestones by Kaiser
Roses from the Dollar Store
Large leaf punch by Martha Stewart
Fern leaf punch by EK Success
Ribbon by Reasonable Ribbon
Copic markers
Pop Dots are homemade

Directions:
I cut base to be 6" by 6" and layered designer paper over that a bit smaller.  I cut a large circle from DP with CM cutting system and folded in half and cut again, placed one on each side.  I trimmed the focal image to fit inside a cut frame by Spellbinders, I colored with Copic markers (I am trying to improve in my coloring, promise!).  This panel was edged with blue and black inks before putting in the large frame.  Then I began adding BLING!
I love this plate and think you will too!
Connie
