There's a brand new challenge over at That Craft Place this fortnight! And our theme this time around is....

ANYTHING GOES!

Super duper easy challenge for everyone to take part in! So i thought i'd make use of some odds and ends around my craftroom and use up somethings floating around i had a whole batch of blue and white cards i did the other day for an order i have a whole pot of bits and bobs i've not put away (tut tut) so that's how this card today came to be!

Dancing Springtime Moments

Morning all!

Not long till Santa pops himself down your chimney!!! just over a month to go!!!

This year has gone so unbelievably quick!!! It's that time of month where the supermarket work is HELL!!! (help me!!!) work is soooo busy!!! you'd not seriously believe how many bags of flour, raisans, cranberry sauce and things like that one store sees! Bearing in mind Cranberry sauce jars come in cases of 6, we're lucky if we see 400 cases a week go through the store, that's a lot of cranberry sauce!! (personally i hate the stuff) but i like the juice lol.... anyway...

I've seen so many wonderful christmas projects that my christmas mojo is bursting but i had to sneak a 'normal' project in on my blog!! hehe today's challenge at Charisma is being set by the lovely Alison!!! she's chosen the theme

LACE & PEARLS

Arrrrghhhh i must admit i ran a mile when i first saw this challenge.. pearls i can cope with but i don't do the lacey bit very well... well i think so.. but i'm on a misson to overcome my fears in crafting (theres lots of them believe me!) and also to start using my neglected stamps that have never seen ink! INCLUDING this lovely ballerina tilda! which i've erm had yonks!!!!

I wanted to give my card today an earthy vintagey feel so dug out my old paper distress ink (how did i not use this before?) i love the effects it's given my papers and leaves, my leaves are cut out on my Slice, i keep forgetting about my lil pink machine, naughty girl as hubby spent lots of pennys on it!! haha... opppsie i best use it more! i've even used my liquid pearls something else i forget that i own! (i surely can't be the only crafter who forgets what i have???)

I adore these flowers from wild orchid crafts they're so pretty think i need to place another order hehe!!!

Morning all!

I'm currently having great fun making my list for the NEC on saturday!! I wonder what bargains i can find this year!! oooo i'm so excited i can't wait!!!

I'm here today with the most gorjuss digi on my card today i've seen in a long time! If you've not seen Krista Smith's Digi's at saturated canary where have you been??? I absolutly adore them!!! This one is called Let it Rain! so pretty and so nice to colour!

My card today is for my DT at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges! You should really come play with us!!! We have some fab challenges and the girls are all wonderful to work with and very talented! I still can't belive they asked me to be on the DT lol!!

Easy sqeezy peezy!!!

I wanted to use my new digi and really go to town with colour, something you'll notice i'm experimenting with recently! Normally i stick to no more than 2/3 colours but i love all these vibrant papers and bits and bobs i keep buying hehe!

She's coloured with promarkers and spectrum noirs (how i ♥ these pens) I've seen alot of negativity on Spectrum noirs since they came out, my only hmpft about them is yes where the name of the colour on the end is scratched on some pens but other than that i love them!!! they're just basically promarkers just more colours and i seem to prefer the pinks in the SP's unlike the dullness of the pink promarkers ya know the baby pink isn't what i'd call baby pink neither is the pastel pink.... so it's worth buying some if you'd like some nice other colours hehe!!

Anyways... here's the whole thing! I'll be back laters if i can tear myself away from my smash book! hehe!

Autumn Whimsy..

Evening all!

It's strange for me to be posting on an evening! welll... i'm back at work now boo hiss!! but in 7 weeks time i have another 2 weeks off with my hubby so looking forward to that! it'll soon fly by!



I've been playing with some of my new stamps which i had for my birthday including the lovely Autumn Charlotte from Whiff Of Joy! I must say i've used the fantastic new fine nibs from leteraset for the promarkers in this image and i absolutly adore them! fantastic creation whom ever thought of it!

 I was challenged by my buddy Shannon, to create a card that had no magnolia, no cuteness, no glitter and no pink! oh and i had to use a marianne die! i must admit in my first attempt i cheated so wanted to give the challenge another go!

My card today has lots of elements to it including lots of swirlys that i adore yet haven't been able to use the die because i couldn't get the flaming card stock out of it, so i brought some ejection foam and walla!!! it worked a treat and i'm thrilled i can finally use my die!

 I've even managed to sqeeze my favourite flowers in from wild orchid crafts i love the vibrant wild roses espech in orange (stock running low now) so need to order! hehe but ssssh dont tell hubby!

 I've this thing that i love different unusual sentiments, not the wording the actual sentiment itself, i had a massive box full of all different sentiment things for a wide range of occasions, and was thrilled to find my american crafts no holes buttons which i purchased yonks ago (like everything else) haha and thought it went with my card just perfectly!

I've even dug out my trust prima leaves, i don't tend to use these often mainly because i totally forget what i actually have up in that craft studio! but love the colours and they matched my card so well!

Have you noticed the colour combo!!?!? totally love it and totally not me but i really like it, think i'll be using this one again! I've used these tiny little cute spotty and non spotty buttons from papermania something i brought on a whim and never got round to actually using them.... again the same with the little bow!

The metal corners i've sadly ran out of so if anyone knows where i can buy more i'd be really grateful as far as i know they're from we are memory keepers my last little too! i love the fact they have a tiny indent on them so you can add a little gem in the corners!

I've also (my gosh a long post) used my new Recollections punch which i bagged in a bargain a few weeks ago at QVC shop near me i got three border punches for about £11!!! Lush ribbons are from poppicrafts, i wish michelle would reopen the shop i miss poppicrafts they were my fav for ribbon and little bits and bobs!!

Anyways enough of me rabbiting i've an anniversary card to get made for me and hubbys 1st anniversary on sunday! Yep i can hardly believe it's gone that quick!!!

Afternoon all!

It's a rare thing i get to see this time of day espechially on a sunday! But we're at work early tonight so i can come home to bed at 2am! and snooze and have day up!

I've not been in blogland much over the last few weeks been snowed under with commisons and life you know how it gets, busy decorating the house and moving things around haven't really had chance to breathe! but i'm missing my blogging so i need to get back in the zone!

I'm here this afternoon to show you my latest magnolia creation, as many of you know they're my favourite stamp brand! So naturally when new collections come out i have to have them!!! hehe!!

Really should just join the magnolia club be so much easier and cheaper in the long run but i hate waiting!!! lol

My card today is all american themed, why? well i'm feeling the USA bug from my friend emma who went on honeymoon in florida a few months back and these papers where sat in my ''special'' magnolia draw needed to be used!

I've used my new Tilda with star dress the one thing i love about this stamp is the flag comes blank so really you could have any sentiment in it! I happend to have chose the cute little saying 'thank you' from MSE tiny tags collection as they're just the right size!

I've stuck to a colour combo of kraft, white, red and blue today! really like this combo to be honest it's a new one for me! Have you seen the romantic lace border from magnolia there on my card, i looooooove this die!! and it's on sale here! along with some other dies!

I've dug out my trusty prisma's again on this card today i've fell in love with these all over again they just blend so very well and i think give dimentsion to the dress! hair and face and arms/legs are always coloured with my promarkers lol i can't seem to master the skin tones with other mediums at the moment my mojo is on holiday i thinks!
