Got Eggs?

It's Barb with BugBites today with a new project to share using another fun sockey monkey file featured all this week here on the blog.

It's spring and that means new Easter files in the store.
I did a treat box using the new Sockey Monkey with egg file. It is super cute.

The treat box is also from SVG Cutting files and can be found here.
I added some pattern paper for the background before adding my sockey monkey with foam tape.

You can find all the new files this week in the store now!

Happy May Day!

Happy May Day!
May Day is one of those days where you fill hand made baskets or boxes and leave them on friends and neighbors doorstep, ring the bell and run so they don't see you.

Not sure how many people do this these days, but it was quite fun.

Today is also design day over at SVG Cutting Files.

The month of May is going to be awesome as the design team rolls out some projects with new treat boxes in the SVG Cutting Files store this month.

Being it's May Day, I did a little May day box using the first new treat box in the store today. It's called the Handled Carton Candy Box.

It folds up super cute and has the cute little handles for easy carrying.

I embellished my box with flowers from Journal Tube Note Holder file set. The flowers are simple shapes, but perfect for my May Day box.

Hoppy Easter!

Happy Friday! Barb from BugBites here with a fun little treat box for spring.

This adorable bunny box is new from SVG Cutting Files and in the store right now!
It's a snap to put together and perfect with a few chocolates to make someones day.
I added a button just below the lid flap so that the flap can tuck  nicely behind the button to stay closed. My bunny box now has a nose and whiskers!  I think I will be making a bunch of these!

The cute bunnies on my candies are from the Jaded Blossom Easter Candies and the sentiment from My Creative Time To My Best Peeps stamp set.

Have a "HOPPY" day!!

U Rock Treats

Hey there, it's Barb from BugBites with a quick post to share one last project using a die cut from the newly released file, Lil' Cupid Girls. For this project I used the heart with wings.

This is a treat box that is small, but holds a lot! It holds 4 Ghiradelli chocolate squares.
The top folds over the top and tucks in under the die cut on the front. The trick is to put the foam tape near the bottom of your design so there is room for the flap to tuck in.
See, there are those chocolate squares!
If you'd like more details on this project, just stop by my blog

Jenny & Jaymie's Birthday Bash!

Good Morning Everyone and Welcome to the Birthday Blog Hop that we have going on right now for Jenny and Jaymie!
So today we have two projects to share....one for each of the Birthday Girls!
Up first is my project for Jenny!
Jenny likes Monsters, the color Red  & I hear she has a sweet tooth for Peanut Butter Cups!
Here is my Giddy Monster Box I made, in RED and filled with peanut butter cups...NAILED it...all the things she LOVES! LOl
To make this I used the SVG Cutting Files  Giddy Monster Box (released today for this hop)
We created a whole THEME pack based on the monsters released today, so check them out here!
I also used the Jaded Blossom Stamp set for Birthday Candies, which are glued on the AWESOME Jaded Blossom Candy Charm DIE  (I love that die!)
I topped it off with some Berry Trendy Twine.
Happy Birthday Jenny, I hope you like Giddy the Monster!!

Now up for my project for Jaymie...
This was a little harder to decide what to make.... So I talked to Jaymie and found out she has German Short Hair dogs that she loves to death....so I made her an original card based on HER DOGS...
Here is what I came up with!

Jaymie sent me a picture of her pups...they are all black faced and white bodied ADORABLY cute dogs!
Jaymie's Fave colors are pink and teal, so I tied that into it as well!
Here is what I used
SVG Cutting Files Trapezoid Card Base
Jaded Blossom Flag Die and the Happy Birthday Cupcake stamps (inside of card)
Trendy Twine in Tickled Pink
Happy Birthday Jaymie...I hope my dog does your cute pups justice!
