Greetings all...
I had to share a layout that I made during a Kiwi Lane class held by my fellow CTMH sister Anita. I have had these templates for (ahem) a year and finally have the courage to use them LOL! These are pics from our camping trip at Jellystone Park in Luray, VA. I have a TON more pics to scrapbook and am making sure I am documenting and labeling all pics. Here is the layout:
I will of course journal but I wanted to upload this before I forgot. Well, off I go. Until next time......

Thanks x 4.....
Happy Tuesday all and I am glad you stopped by. I am choosing to have an attitude of gratitude lately instead of allowing negativity to rent space in my head. So I decided "Why not make Thank You cards?" These cards literally took me a whopping 5 minutes to put together. Here they are:
I must say that you could triple the amount of cards made in no time with two pieces of 12 x 12 double sided paper. The paper pack I used was Blossom (which is currently unavailable but I have two in stock which may go quickly). I am loving the florals on one side and the patterns on the other. The CTMH Exclusive Ink Stamp Pads that coordinated were Lagoon, Sorbet and Pear.
The labels were from the May Stamp of the Month - Just Sayin'. You can only this with a qualifying order of $50 for only $5 (it retails for 17.95). There are 14 stamps included in this set:
I will be using this for my My Creations Hip Pics album to commemorate our camping trip this summer. The stamp sets I will be using with it are Hello Summer, Campfire Lifestyle and Camper Crazy. Going on a more elaborate vacation? We've got you covered with the Wanderful Scrapbooking Workshop on the Go and/or Paper Pack.
The coordinating Exclusive Ink Stamp Pads are: Black, Crystal Blue, Gypsy and Honey. There is also these stamp sets to help commemorate your trip (Here We Go and World Traveler) and the Wanderful Picture My Life Scrapbooking program:
So bring on the adventures this summer even if it is in your own backyard (or camping out in the living room).

Na Na Na Na Na Na..... today is your birthday....
Greetings all! Sue B here sharing a birthday card I made for my Baby Bro who turned 30 (boy I am old!). I always try to do something Beatles or The Joker from Batman. This year I am doing both. Here is the card that I made:
I am in love with the Trace and Cut on my Cameo Silhouette. The stamps I used were from Close to My Heart (Curlicue Alphabet Birthday stamp sets from the Artfully Sent and Artiste Cricut Collections) I really like how this came together and I pop dotted the Happy Birthday Banner. Well, I am off to cut The Riddler's Question Mark now. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you soon. Until next time.....

Who(s) having a birthday
Greetings and salutations!
I had to delay this post so that I did not spoil the surprise. January 30th was our son's 17th birthday. He has done so well at school and is such a loving boy that we decided to do something special for him. We hosted a Doctor Who themed birthday party. We had given him his birthday present early (at Christmas actually) so this was our little gift for him. We invited his close friends and planned it all in secret (yes I am sneaky lol). I wanted to make a Dr Who themed card and had to do it in Cricut Craft room with George and Basic shapes. Here is the fruits of my labor:
The stamp set I used was from the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Collection and the ink was CTMH's Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink pad.
I am so glad that we could make this day special for our son. Happy Birthday David.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time....

These are a few of My Favorite Things (and People)
Happy day all!
I recently attended Cropper Delight's My Favorite Things Crop (my 2nd) and had an AMAZING time. If you live on the East Coast (some even come from farther away) you definitely want to attend one of their crops. During the weekend, every time you hear this song, you make lots of noise because there is something given away (either a raffle or ONE for EVERYONE). I received lots of wonderful items and won a raffle (see below)
During the weekend, I also scrapped all the remaining pictures that I had. Here are the layouts that I made using my Close to My Heart Workshops on the Go. Here they are:
I have to tell you that I have tons of paper left over as well. You really get your money's worth when you buy them. I just need a new blade for my Cricut to get more layouts done. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you soon. Until next time....

Happy Birthday David
Happy day all!
Holy moley guacamole, I cannot believe my baby is now 16! He was the last but the biggest and brings me a lot of joy (he is a comedienne). Here is the birthday card I made for him:
Happy Birthday David. Pa and I wish you all the best. We know you are destined for great things! Love you!

Happy Birthday Dad
This is my Dad's first birthday in heaven and we miss him dearly. My talented younger brother Chris wrote this poem for Dad and I just had to share it:
Happy Birthday in Heaven Daddy. We will all honor you by being the best we can be and know you are always with us. Love you!

A very Successful Crop
Good day all!
I am going to apologize in advance as these pics are less than stellar. It has been kind of a rough two days. Got home from an all day crop and got some bad news. I did have a successful day though cropping with my friends Julie and Sharon. Got to catch up with other friends too (Hi Nellie and Micki). Here are the layouts that I got done:
As things come to a close for my Dad, I realize how important it is to make good memories with your loved ones and preserve those memories. Do you have LOTS of pictures on your camera or computer and want a way to share them. Well, join my NEW Online Hostess Club and make sure those memories are not lost FOREVER. For as little as $25 a month (with 6 members) you can earn free products during your hostess month. You can gather 6 friends or I can add you to a group. Not a traditional scrapbooker, no problem with the new Close to My Heart Picture my Life Scrapbooking program. Easy peasy for sure. Come and give yourself a gift that can be enjoyed by others. Contact me with any questions HERE.

What a productive day!!!
Good afternoon and Happy Sunday all!
I was feeling a little under the weather this morning and decided to put together some scrapbook pages. I have a list that is longer than I care to admit of pics needing to be scrapped but at least I am getting them accomplished sooner than later. Here are some pages that I have put together this past week:
All the layouts above except the dog one I made myself. The one with Tina and Juliet I bought from a very talented friend awhile ago and just printed pics for it. Now onto a card that I have to get done and then some scrapbook pages. Hoping for another Dexter marathon today when hubby is finished with his current video project (Our son David's first marching band performance @ Freehold Township High School). I am very grateful to have all these wonderful memories to preserve. Until next time.....

My Wild and Crazy Guys
Good afternoon all. Did you notice I said afternoon? I am home sick today and thought I would take the opportunity to post pics of two pages I did several weeks ago. I love technology from the couch with my pillow and blanket. I have been getting organized (somewhat) and scrapping old pictures. These two layouts are from pictures taken in Virginia Beach 2011. I love visiting there and can't wait to call it my home. Here are my sons mucking it up outside of Five Below:
We also love a visit with the VA cousins. Here is David playing video games with his cousin Josh.
Both layouts were done with Close To My Heart's Paper and Embellishments. I added a little color to the arrows with my Sakura Gelly Roll metallic pen. I hope to get more scrapbooking done soon. Perhaps when I can leave the couch. Until next time.....

It's a Bird, It's a Plane.... Nope it is a second post for today....
I am way too proud of the progress I made today with pictures from July 2011 (sad isn't it?). Better late than never I always say. These are pics from a birthday get together at my cousin Sabrina's home in Virginia Beach. I used a kit I purchased from debbielukacs.com and altered it as I had no Easter pics this year. The only elements I did not use were the Easter eggs and "March 2013". I cut the title and the X's and O's with the Cameo Silhouette. I have to say that it worked out well and showed that there is a lot of love down there. I am looking forward to being there FT one day. Until that time, I get to look at these pics often:
I just love them all. Thanks for taking this journey with me today. Until next time...

It is Virtual Crop Day with Dr Phil...
I am so looking forward to today. I found Dr. Phil's virtual crop and decided I would give it a go. Regular crops is where I get my scrapbooking done. So why not try it at home? I don't have to lug all my stuff and I can get some pages done. Well, in almost 4 hours I have a 2 page layout done. I know, I know... you are shaking your heads. Well that is because I get so engrossed in elaborating on pages that it takes me longer. This is a page kit I bought from Debbie at the last crop and was perfect for my grandson Elijah. Just like the graduation layout, I used my Creative Memories Border Maker System for the fence and the paper mat borders. Here is the end result:

Dr. Phil had an online class on U stream. I followed along as best I could but kept running back and forth to my craft room. I have had this picture since 2011 when we visited Mom and Dad in Virginia Beach. I am quite happy with the results:
I am blessed to call Mary Ellen my Mom. She has taught me a lot of things including how to be strong. She took care of me while I was broken and helped make me who I am today. I think she did a great job!! I love you Mom :)
See those circles there? Well I used my newer favorite tool; the Shape Maker System. Watch for some new cartridges for both these wonderful tools!! I am sure I will get some more pages done but wanted to share this right away. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing some great deals for National Scrapbooking Day on my website: http://www.mycmsite.com/sites/susanbermudez/. Until next time...

FINALLY.. a weekend to create...
I think that it is just what the Dr ordered. I am home from Dad's surgery and cannot tell you how grateful I am to all my Facebook and IRL (in real life) friends that were sending good thoughts and prayers for Dad. He came through the surgery and progressed so quickly that it is nothing short of miraculous! I won't keep you with all the details but he was sitting up, talking and watching his favorite TV shows less than 24 hrs after an 8 1/2 hour of surgery and was not on a respirator to celebrate his 71st birthday!
Since his Dr's were AMAZING, I thought I would make a card in honor of their work and dedication. I am involved in a card swap later in the month and made this card with the Dr's in mind. I did not design it but used a cut file from the Silhouette Store. I love Valentine's card colors and am partial to them. Here is the results of my therapeutic time.....
I am thankful that prayers do work and I still have my Dad here. No matter what comes, we will face it together. That is what FAMILY is all about. I hope that you find something that brings you JOY today. Until next time.....

Happy Birthday David!!!
Welcome back to my second post for Crafty Card Gallery's blog. Today is my youngest son's birthday. 15 and much taller than all of us. It is incredible how time flies. Here he is as a little boy with his sister:
And here he is looking like a man (with his siblings)!!
Since he is a HUGE video game fan, I knew this card in the Silhouette Store was PERFECT!
I used some embellishments that I bought for some Christmas cards. I am enjoying using my Cameo so much that I am sure we will become fast friends. I hope that you will take some time to wish David a "Happy Birthday!" I will be back later in the week to bring you another card.Until next time...

Happy Birthday to My Little Monster...
Okay, well he is not quite little and I normally call him my little monkey (mi monito actually) but he love this Cricut cartridge. I used Mini Monsters and wanted to make something fun. Here is the end result:
I used my Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch. Behind that is my new Creative Memories Frame Chain Border Maker Cartridge. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this border cutting system.
Happy Birthday Alecito. We are so very proud of the man you have become. Until next time....

Talented Friends of Crafty and Green Project #1
**If you are looking for PurpleFuntastick Design Team Post, Click HERE**
I cannot tell you how happy the two posts today have made me! Since starting my new job my craft time has been nil. Not one to shirk my responsibilities, I made sure that I got my projects done. Today's project is based on this sketch:
I had some pictures from my daughter's Memorial Day Marching Band Parade. I also got the Quarter Note cartridge for Christmas that I was itching to use. Here is my take on the sketch:
The corner notes were cut at 2 1/4" and the smaller notes were 1 3/4" for the shadow and 1 1/2" for the white part of the note. I used Red Stickles for the lettering. The border behind the pic is the newest Creative Memories Border Maker System cartridge, Double Heart Chain. As I stated in my other post, the border maker comes back in stock around Feb 8th. If you are interested in seeing how the border maker works, here is a video:
Thanks to Tina for having me today and for giving me the inspiration to preserve a memory. Until next time...
