Hey there! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I have a stunning polish by Australian indie brand Glam Polish. This is from their Fun & Games collection, Leapfrog!
I loved everything about this polish, from the base to the glitter! This beauty is a blue jelly base with neon pink, neon green and neon yellow hex glitters. I sealed it off with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat and it lasted for several days without chipping! I absolutely love neon glitters so this one certainly didn't disappoint.
On a side note, I got a new camera! I'm excited to take some awesome photos of some amazing polish this week so look for that next weekend! I also am donating a prize for a giveaway on Over The Top Coat so be sure to check out Natalie's blog tomorrow for more information on that! I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Mish Mash Challenge - Grey (Penelope Luz)
Heeeeeeeyy! I'm back this week with a Mish Mash Challenge for ya! I haven't been feeling 100% lately so I skipped last weeks challenge. I'm finally starting to feel better again and have a super awesome polish to show you for this weeks theme of grey!
After raiding my stash, I came up with an untried indie, Penelope Luz in Tendresse and OPI in I Have A Herring Problem.
I fell head over heels for Tendresse after I layered it over my base. I was surprised at how smooth it was for being a glitter topper. I still ended up using some Seche Vite to seal it up and make it shine though. I'm defiantly going to have to get some more Penelope Luz; I picked this gem up at Color4Nails in case your wondering too :)
Check out the other awesome mani's from this week below and have a great week!

MMC - Blue (Glam Polish)
Hello there! I'm back with a challenge post this week for the Mish Mash Challenge! This weeks theme is blue so I decided to go with a recent favorite indie polish, Glam Polish in Nickle Nackle.
Inside Photo
I picked up this beauty from Color4Nails. If you haven't checked out the site, its a must! This was the only Glam Polish I got from the shop and I'm wishing I purchased more! I freaking love the color and the glitters used in this polish. Application was simple and easy with no issues, I was extremely happy.

I sealed the deal with some Seche Vite and called it good. I'm pretty much in love with this color :)

TIOT - Barielle and LynBDesigns
Hello ladies! I'm back after a few weeks with a Try It On Tuesday post for you! I've been busy as usual with my job but I never let it stop me from doing my nails. Since I'm ahead of the game for once, I have a few posts lined up with some of the new polish I've scored recently...I cant wait to show you!
Today's manicure is simple, I went with Barielle Welcome Ohm for my base and Old Fashioned Villain from LynBDesigns for my glitter topper.
Welcome Ohm is a pretty purple creme that I picked up in 5 pack at Marshall's for a sweet deal. I scored Old Fashioned Villain for free in a deal that LynBDesigns was having a month back on her Etsy shop. I love adding to my collection of indies and this one doesn't disappoint.
Hope everyone is having a great week and until next time!

TIOT - Nail Pattern Boldness
Hi there! For today's Try It On Tuesday I have a 2 in 1! I just got myself two lovely bottles of Nail Pattern Boldness, Glitter A-Peel and Hello, Sweetie! After seeing so many reviews of Glitter A-Peel I had to get my hands on it and of course I couldn't purchase that without getting a glitter polish to go with it. My choice was Hello, Sweetie!
This pretty little thing is a purple jelly with glitters galore. I'm starting to appreciate purples more and more these days. Under this bad boy was Glitter A-Peel and I have to say it was SO AWESOME! I actually had a few nails pop off while at work and doing random things. It was so nice though to not have to deal with nail polish remover and cotton balls and the smell! It's worth every damn penny...LOVE IT!
Have a wonderful evening everyone and tomorrow I'll be back with a brand new challenge! Can't wait!

Try It On Tuesday - Clown Puke
Hello people! Happy Tuesday! Today is kind of like my "Friday"...tomorrow is a state holiday, Pioneer Day! What is Pioneer Day you might ask? I have no freaking clue! I've had the unfortunate pleasure of living in Utah for 6 years now and I think I first heard about this holiday maybe 3 years ago. I think...I think...it may be when the Pioneers settled in Utah, I could be wrong though. I just celebrate the fact that my company uses this day as a PAID holiday, so I have no problem taking full advantage.
OK, on to the polish right?! For today's TIOT I've got on KB Shimmer Clown Puke over Sally Hansen White On. Clown Puke is an amazing awesome glitter packed top coat that pretty much rocks my socks off. It was so much fun watching new glitters show up on each nail. The KB Shimmer website says that this polish has over 100 different glitters which is mind blowing to think about!
Super pretty right?! So much glitter...and I probably could have used more, but I didn't want to over do it. I know the more glitter I used, the harder it would be to take off :) Plus I only got a mini bottle so heavens forbid I use it all. Well I am off to see a movie, I hope each of you have an awesome week!

Mint Manis for Talia Joy
This week the beauty community lost a beautiful and talented young lady named Talia who touched everyone's heart. Today, we remember her by posting mint manis and to celebrate the life of someone so beautiful inside and out. I'm going to keep this post short and sweet so here is my mint mani, KB Shimmer That's Mint.
Remember when times get tough, and you feel like you just cant go on anymore, think of Talia and #justkeepswimming. RIP pretty lady.

Try It On Tuesday - Sonoma Nail Art
Hey there! I hope everyone is having a good week so far, mine is all over the place and its only Tuesday! Working and staring at a computer all day makes it hard to come home and spend more time on the computer and blog. I really do like posting once a week though, it gives me time to enjoy my manicure and play around with other colors in between. Currently, I am blogging from the inside of my closet because I have scared dog who is terrified of the thunder that's happening outside...what a chicken right? The closet is her safe place and she prefers to have you with her; and she wont leave you alone until you get into the closet. So here I am, closet blogging.
For today's TIOT, I've got another indie that has been on my buy list for a while and I am oh-so-glad I finally got my hands on some, Sonoma Nail Art. First off, I have to say that I LOVE the bottles. I like the fact that each bottle has a different design for each color, I think it makes it unique. Today I wanted to share with you the beautiful Aether.
You may or may not have noticed but I used a REAL camera for my photos today! LOL. I've had this camera for a while now and finally decided to give it a shot since my iPhone photos show up like garbage sometimes. I think they actually came out pretty decent, I'll defiantly need to play around with the settings but I think this is a good start.
The last photo in the set is probably the closest to the true color of this stunning polish. I used about 3 coats and had no issues with the formula. The small glitters and the aqua base made this polish land in my top 5 favorite colors. Another thing I loved was that it lasted for about 4 days until it started to chip, which is great in my book. Isn't it pretty?!
Well, I am off to tend to a spazmatic dog and eat some ice cream, I hope everyone has a lovely week and until next time!

ABC Challenge - V is for Violet Voltage
Happy Hump Day! I'm actually getting my post up on time this week for the ABC Challenge! Today I've got Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Violet Voltage. I decided to top it with NYC Starry Silver Glitter. I absolutely love this combination and wear it frequently. Please disregard the dog hair on my nail in one of the photos, I didn't notice it until I uploaded the photo; the joys of having a dog :)
Have a great rest of your week and don't forget to check out the other awesome mani's below!

ABC Challenge - R is for Raquel!
Happy hump day! Let's get my missing Q post out of the way first. Q is for Quitter....I quit. I couldn't think of a dang thing to do for Q and I had no luck at all finding any Q polish at the store. Once I saw what every one did for the challenge I was super impressed, but I didn't want to take anyone's idea so I decided to skip it all together. I was super busy last week with work anyways, so its alright.
Now for R! R is for Raquel!!! Let me give you the back story....growing up, Raquel was an extremely unique name and it still is. I was the kid that wanted key chains, pens, and tiny license plates that had my name on it. But because Raquel is not a popular name, I could never find it. When I would find one, I'd beg my parents to buy it because it was so rare. Well fast forward to about 2 years ago, I was dinking around on the internet and thought, I wonder if there is a polish out there named Raquel. Typed into Google, "Raquel Nail Polish" and BAM! There it was....BB Couture - Raquel, part of their Classic Hollywood Divas Collection. My jaw dropped and I had to have it, regardless of the color and brand.
The polish is named after Raquel Welch, a popular American actress and sex-symbol in the 1960's, a woman who I am also named after lol. The color is actually pretty awesome. I can only describe it as a maroonish-brown color with silver glitters. The photo as usual doesn't do it justice, its got a old school vibe that just screams 1960's. I really do love it every time I wear it. I cant wait to see what every one else has for the challenge today!

ABC Challenge - O is for Orly
Hello! Today I've got a polish that has been in my pile for a while now....Orly Green with Envy. This is actually a mini bottle, which is probably why I waited so long to try it, but I am loving this color. I actually only have mini bottles of Orly, so I might have to go out and buy some full size because I really loved the formula with this one. To add some sparkle I went with butter London Fairy Cake on my tips and my ring finger. Check out the other amazing ladies also participating in the challenge below!

ABC Challenge - K is for KB Shimmer
Happy Friday! I am so excited to get my weekend started! I've got tickets to see Imagine Dragons tonight and have been patiently waiting all day and its almost time to get going! For the ABC Challenge this week I've got K is for KB Shimmer. As I have said before, she is probably my all time favorite indie. You could call me a little obsessed. The color I have for you today is called Sugar Plum Faerie. Its a beautiful plum purple colored jelly packed with tons of glitter as usual. What I love about this one is the green glitter, it makes the color really pop.
Have a great weekend!

ABC Challenge - J is for Jelly Sandwich
Hello Everyone! Another new one for me this week with the ABC Challenge, J is for Jelly Sandwich! I had to search for a good sheer polish that would go great with a new glitter polish I received by KB Shimmer called Pastel Me More. I ended up using Sally Hansen Complete Manicure in Pink Slip. I fell in love with this from the minute I layered on the last coat of polish. Its a great color combination and really makes the pastels come out in the glitter. Totally happy with this manicure! What do you think?!

ABC Challenge - H is for Hex Appeal
Hello out there! For the ABC Challenge last week, we had to come up with something that began with H. I have quite a few untried nail polish to go through, several of them being from one of my favorite indies KB Shimmer. For today, I have KB Shimmer Hex Appeal. I don't know why I wanted so long to try this one out. Its packed with glitter and has a dark blue jelly base. I wore this on its own and couldn't stop staring at my hands. I highly recommend this if you LOVE GLITTER :) Until next time!

ABC Challenge - G is for Green
I have been BEYOND busy the last 2 weeks but I am excited to finally get my G post up. I took the easy way out with this one, G is for Green. I didn't like my selection of G-named polish so I went with a color and brand I haven't tried yet. This beauty is Layla Ceramic Effect CE54. Overall I really liked this polish, it was easy to apply and dried fast. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to try some more from Layla, they have some beautiful colors.

ABC Challenge - C is for Cha Cha Twist
Happy hump day! For the letter C, I thought I would go with a polish I have not worn in a long time, All That Glitters Cha Cha Twist. This polish has a blue jelly base packed with blue, black, aqua and red glitters in all shapes and sizes! It definitely has some bling to it and I love the color on my hands. I did about 3-4 coats to get full coverage on the nails and it dries fast. I can’t wait to see what everyone else in the challenge has today!

ABC Challenge - B is for Butter London
Hey there ladies! For today's ABC Challenge, the letter is B. I decided I would go with Butter London The Black Knight. This is such a pretty polish and extremely hard to photograph with my iPhone. The polish has a black sheer base packed with pink, black, blue and silver glitters. I did about 3 coats for full coverage. Because I wasn't able to get a good shot of the glitter, I ended up taking a blurry picture to show the shimmer in this polish. Its pretty awesome :) Enjoy your day!

Butter London Scallywag and Tape Mani
One of my New Years goals is to become better at nail art
and design. I love nail polish with a passion but when it comes to nail art, I’m
not the best. I have the hardest time coming up with an idea and when I think
of one, I don’t feel I have the artistic abilities to make it happen. So this
year, I’m going to do my best and see what I can come up with.
For my first mani of the new year, I decided to try Butter
London. It’s been hard to purchase one of these just because I have a hard time
with spending $14 on a nail polish. Luckily, my lovely boyfriend got me a few
for Christmas so let the fun begin!
Scallywag (love the name) is part of their
Holiday 2012 collection and is a bright turquoise glitter that is to die for.
After just one coat I had full coverage but I decided to go with 2 coats to
make it pop. When it dried, I had some issues with the striping tape not
sticking to the glitter. The polish dried a little rough so I had to use a thin
coat of fast dry clear polish and even then, I couldn’t get the tape to stick. Determined
to make it work, I ended up using blue painters tape cut into strips. To my surprise,
after applying Sinful Colors Black on Black, it worked! Below you have my end
result. I think I did a pretty fine job, and it’s probably one of my favorite
manicures I have done on myself.

Nail Polish Procrastination
Hello! So for the last few weeks I have been trying to rehab my nails. I broke a few in the process of doing some Black Friday shopping and they looked terrible. They still do but not as bad as before. Ive been trying to work out a fun manicure for this weekend (Its my birthday on the 13th) and I came up with something pretty basic. Most likely I'll end up changing it before Thursday. I can never decide what I want to do.
But here ya go! I used Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Pink Slip as my base, its a super sheer light pink color. I had to use 3 coats to get full coverage, it almost looks white. And then for my accent color I used KB Shimmer Berry Christmas from her Holiday Collection. I love this polish, I love anything that KB Shimmer puts out, but this one is so beautiful! Its a pinkish/red polish packed with tiny red glitters and some hint of purple glitters in between. SO BEAUTIFUL!
