Corals top.

I designed and started this top last summer while recovering from my eye surgery. Sounds like a great idea, right ;-) Double vision bothered me still at that time, so I put it aside until last month. Did not take me long to finish the top and I am so happy I did. I love how the top turned out. Makes for a great spring/summer layering piece. I used cotton/cashmere (85/15) blend from Colourmart.I love how this yarn feels and have knitted with it before. It is a wonderful yarn for the summer. The only problem with it is that it biases a lot and st. st is not an option as well as any stitch pattern with a moderate amount of st. st. So I opted for a very lacy pattern to avoid the bias. For more details on this design please visit my Ravelry project page:

Blue Donner.

Took me 4 month, but I did finish this beautiful sweater by  Elizabeth Doherty @bluebeestudio I absolutely love it. πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ The fit is fantastic.  I wanted to try some new and interesting construction. and Donner fit the bill. I love the shoulder construction of this sweater, especially the braid on the back. For my mods on how I picked up sts for the braid see the project page:

I cannot say enough good things about this pattern. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and calculations. I highly recommend this pattern, but be aware that it is very very heavy on short rows. I am not a big fan of short rows, but they do make your final garment to fit well and thus worth the straggle even if take four month to make. :-)
The yarn is light fingering  cashmere from Colourmart @colourmart. After wash it bloomed and absolutely scrumptious.
Happy knitting,
Diana
