Free Pattern :"Coronado Bay" Stole

I have knitted "Coronado Bay" stole back in December 2011, but since then could not find time to write up a pattern for it. Today I stayed home from work due to a little cold and decided to finish this pattern while I had a little free time on my hands :)))
"Coronado Bay" stole pattern is now available on Ravelry and my blog as a free download.

Палантин "Coronado Bay" связался ещё в Декабре прошлого года, но никак не могла найти свободного времени и написать инструкции. Сегодня немного приболела и не пошла на работу, вот и решила воспользоваться свободной минуткой и дописать инструкции :-))

New Design: "Coronado Bay" Stole.

Today I would like to show you a project I have been working on last few weeks, stole "Coronado Bay".
Coronado Island is one of my favorite places in San Diego. It was an inspiration for this design. Twists and turns of the lace pattern and sun-kissed color of the yarn remind me of the shoreline and sandy little beaches of this coastal community and most of all of the beautiful Coronado bridge.
This stole was a fun and enjoyable knit. I have used beautiful Juno Fibre Arts Belle  Fingering / 4 ply 70% Alpaca, 30% Wool yarn. I enjoyed knitting this lace pattern as well as little twisted cables I have used for the border and throughout  the stole.
I love my new stole. It was great to wear today as a scarf, but it can also be worn as a stole/shawl for more festive occasions. It is a great accessory to have. :-))

Сегодня я хотела бы показать вам проект над которым я работала последнии пару недель, палантин "Coronado Bay". Остров Коронадо это одно из моих самых любимых мест в Сан Диего. Коронадо и поcлужило вдохновлением для этого проекта.  Витиеватость и повороты ажурного узора и солнечная расцветка пряжи напоминают мне о побережье и маленьких песочных пляжах острова и в особенности о мосте соединяющем Сан Диего и Коронадо остров.
Палантин вязать было сплошное наслаждение. Очень лёгкий, но совсем не скучный ажур. Пряжа от Juno Fibre Arts Belle просто замечательная. В составе Алпaка и шерсть.
Я очень довольна результатом. Сегодня было сплошное удовольствие одеть палантин как шарф. Я планирую носить его и в более торжественных случаях как нарядный палантин/ шаль :-))
