Libby Sturdy Teapot

This canvaswork design was finished into an easel-backed stand up.  The fabric is green velveteen and the golden brown twisted cording accents the design beautifully.  Design by Libby Sturdy. 

 

Nativity Triptych

These large needlepoint pieces are finished into a triptych stand-up.  The panels are flat on the back and finished with dark brown velvet fabric.  The fronts are slightly padded and the center panel has a flat base to allow for easier standing.  The panels are trimmed and attached to each other with golden brown twisted cording.   

Santa Stand-Up

This needlepoint was finished into a stand-up with a hard base and soft back.  It is trimmed with custom twisted cording and backed with green velvet fabric.  Finishing was donated for the ANG 2007 Baltimore Seminar Auction.

Wedding Bears Stand-Up Pair

This needlepoint was finished into a stand-up with a hard base and soft top.  It is trimmed with custom cording and backed with blue velvet fabric.  Design by Damarj and Bonnie Keating.

Heart Ornament

This ornament is finished flat with a hard interior.  It is trimmed with pearl beads and hand-dyed silk ribbon.  The stand base is weighted and painted, and trimmed with satin ribbon and pearl beads.  Design by Truswell Needlework Design called "My Heart is Aflame".

Heart in Hand Stand-Up

This sampler is fnished into a wedge stand-up pillow.  The bottom is weighted.

Flat Fold Stand Up - St. Pat's Hat

A Flat-Fold is excellent for seasonal pieces, as it allows them to store flat and take up little space.  This design is trimmed with gold and green cording, and the shamrock fabric has gold sprinkles on it.  Design by Linda Stolz.

Nordic Santa Stand-Up

This needlepoint was finished into a stand-up with a hard base and soft top.  It is trimmed with flat woven braid and backed with burgundy velveteen fabric.  Design by Damarj.

Fanci That Bunny Stand-Up

This stand-up pillow is weighted on the flat bottom to allow it to stand flat.  However, it's stuffed above that with fiberfill to give it a soft look.  The trim is crocheted flowers.  Design by Fanci That.

Bear Stand-Up

This needlepoint was finished into a stand-up with a hard base and soft top.  It is trimmed with custom cording and backed with blue velvet fabric.  Design by Damarj.

Debbie Forney Stand-Up

The stand-up has a removeable multicolored wired bow on top.  The edges are trimmed with custom wispy and shiny black twisted cording.  The base is blue velvet, and is accented with orange ball trim.  The green glass ball feet are stacked on black painted wood feet.

Flat Fold Stand Up - Halloween Witch

This large Halloween design is finished into a Flat Fold Stand Up.  The backing is black silk dupioni.  The lining is printed cotton quilting fabric.  The woven ribbon base is orange with black trim.  Custom tri-color twisted cording accents the edges of the design.  The customer wanted something "not froofy" to allow the design to shine.

This stand-up design is finished into an easel. It is finished with matching blue silk dupioni and accented with twisted cording from threads leftover from the design.
