Merry Trees

I'm back with another acetate card using the same digital tree images that I used yesterday.

This time I embossed the card base with snow dots which I sparkled up with some Stickles.  For the sentiment strip I stamped the image with dye ink, ran it through my Xyron with the adhesive applied to the sentiment side and covered it with Glitter Ritz.  Since the Glitter Ritz is transparent the stamped sentiment can still be seen.

I'm entering this card at Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge and at Hero Arts for their monthly challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Acetate Scene

I have another card for the Hero Arts Monthly Challenge.
Acetate Scene
This card has an embossed card base with an acetate overlay.  The trees are digital images that I printed on the acetate and the snowflakes were stamped.  I added a glittered strip of snow and finished off with some gems.

It's my first time using the Christmas Words folder and I just love the fonts and how deep the embossing is on the paper.  I highly recommend it for your Christmas stash.

I have to say that this card is so much prettier in real life but between the acetate and the glitter I could not get a decent picture that showcases them both.

I'm entering this card at CAS-ual Fridays Winter Blues Challenge but I'm not entirely sure if the colour "pool" qualifies for this challenge : )

And I'm also entering this at the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.

Thanks so much for visiting today, I appreciate all the comments you leave me!

Digi Christmas Tags

I made two sets of Christmas gift tags for this months Hero Arts Challenge.  Both sets use digital images and have a little stamping, a little embossing and a little bling on them.

I really like the Scribble Tree, it's such a fun and whimsical image and perfect for showcasing a variety of background papers.

Tags are quick and easy to produce and they make excellent gifts when you bundle them up in a set and put them in a pretty box or bag.  That's what I plan to do with mine!

Fall Leaves

I'm back with a autumn card that has stamping on it and a digital image and I made it for the Hero Arts September Challenge.

One of the challenges is to use a holiday stamp in a way other than its intended use. The tree, which is a digital image, is also part of Hero Arts Xmas Swirls kit but I turned it into an autumn tree by adding leaves made from shrink plastic. I stamped one side of the shrink plastic with the leaf image and I coloured the back side with Copic markers.

I'm also entering this over at Simon Says for the Put A Stamp On It Challenge, part of Stamptember festivities!
