E.A.D. Designs Blog Hop

Hi all!! Its Monday, and that means time for an E.A.D. Designs Blog Hop! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. This week is going to be crazy busy, I have to pack for our trip, Wednesday is my birthday, Friday is the funeral, Saturday we leave for the beach and wont be back till Tuesday and its the beginning of the month which is a super busy time for me at work. Eeek! So much to do!

On the first hop of each month we do a theme, our theme this month is 'Back to School'. Here I used the ABC Background along with the Back to School Stickerz. So cute! This will be great for my daughters new teacher for the first day with a little gift.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. We are staying indoors this weekend, the heat (106+) and the humidity (which is unusual around here) are really bad right now. Our swimming pool is like a sauna :( lol.

Challenge #11 - "Lets Get Sticky"

Hi there... hope your enjoying the start of your weekend. Today brings challenge #11 - "Lets Get Sticky". I am challenging you to incorporate stickers, of any kind, into your project i.e. Vinyl stickers, Rub-ons, Rhinestone and pearl stickers, diecut stickers, etc. I think you get the picture. Anything with a sticky back!

Next up I used the Twitterpated stickers... who doesn't love Bambi!! So adorable!! And very CAS card, thats what I love about the Stickerz. You can put a card together in 10 min if you need something quickly. This card was very easy.

And another CAS card. Don't you just love this Wood Background? Its a sticker! So easy to use. I had this card done in 10 min. All you need is some cardstock and stickerz and you have yourself a quick and easy card!

Your challenge: This weeks challenge theme is "Lets Get Sticky". You must incorporate stickers, of any kind, into your project i.e. Vinyl stickers, Rub-ons, Rhinestone and pearl stickers, diecut stickers, etc. I think you get the picture. Anything with a sticky back!

And heres a little card I did as more inspiration for my challenge. I used my new sewing machine. I like it but  I cant figure out why the stitching looks right on the down (back) side but on the front side im getting the stitching that should be on the front side. Its reversed. I would have to sew the card on its backside to get the right stitching to show. Its hard to work on kinks on a new sewing machine. LOL!

And I need YOUR HELP PLEASE for those of you that use a Digital SLR for your photos. If you use a photo tent too, even better. What settings do you use to take your pictures? If you use the auto, mine doesnt show up unless I use flash. But im trying to keep from using the flash and I cant get my manual settings right. I cant wait to get this ironed out! :D Im so excited to have a photo tent now but frustrated that I cant get my settings the way they should be. Ooh So Cute :)

TGIF!! Happy Friday to you all!! :) :) :) Im so glad its the weekend. YAY! I did some more pincushions since I couldnt sleep from worrying about Jason and his Dad. We will be taking him to the hospital tomorrow, he doesnt want to go till then for his reasons and so thats when we are taking him to the VA hospital. I hope they can figure out whats going on. Please keep him in your prayers.

Happy Monday everyone!! Its nuts around here not just at my house but the weather!! Yesterday it was 90 degrees and today... 60 degrees and raining!! Its been hot, cold, hot, cold, hot cold for the past 2 months. I wish Mother Nature would stop PMS'ing and decide what season it is already!! LOL!!
