Hope

I bundled up a few challenges all in one.... I used the Simon Says Stamp and Show your Flourish, City Crafter's Challenge - Birds of a Feather, Hero Arts and Wee Memories are both Summertime challenges. Oops I forgot the colors were from the ColourQ challenge this week.

So how does that all come together in one card:

I started with a master board which was very relaxing because I pulled out the glimmer mists and chalkboard to mix up the colors from the ColourQ challenge this week. I added a layer of flourishes along with the music background. Then the edges are sponged in Vintage photo.

The sentiment is Verses Rubber Stamps  Hope Feathers QQ1007-D stamped on tracing paper. (I decided the vellum I was finding was too thick so I went into the tracing paper section and picked up a pack)
Products: Hero Arts - Tall Birdhouse, Fabulous Flourish, Music Background, Two Birds, Big Clock, Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mist - Tuscany Sun, Chalkboard Mists, Ranger Distress Inks - Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo, Olive

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Star Spangled Birthday

In our family July is a big birthday month. Several of the nieces and nephews were born around 4th of July.  So when it comes time to create birthday cards the red, white and blue are my favorite colors to use on their cards.

The ColourQ Challenge #90Off the Wall Challenge #56,  and the JUGS challenge this week use the same color scheme and patriotic 3D theme.  This helped me finish off two birthday cards for my nephews. (I made this card twice for them both).

Very clean and simple card:

The stamps include: Stampers Anonymous - Psychedelic Grunge CMS 056 and a Happy Birthday Sentiment from Inkadinkado.  My 3D for the Jugs challenge is the stars are popped with the buttons attached. The stars are edged in red. The stamp was inked up in several shades of blue.

Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend.

ColourQ Challenge #70 - Monkey Love

A fun little card for the ColourQ challenge #70 and the Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge #41.  I saw this monkey  stamp from Imaginisce and thought wouldn't it be sweet to have him juggling hearts.  I really was making a V card for my son but unfortunately the cute monkey has a skirt on so I ended up creating it for a little girl.

Product info: The sentiment is from Hero Arts Valentine clear set. The border punch is Martha Stewart. Image colored with watercolor pencils.
