Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!  I forgot that my card this week for the beautiful CR84FN54 colors would be on Mother's Day here in the U.S.  Funnily enough it seems very appropriate for some of us who have had children who might have acted a little like this when overtired.

I decided to play around with a Mo Manning image and my copics:

I used some beautiful Memory Box paper in the background and stamped the new Artistic Outpost Secretary Pool background in the panel behind the main image.

The Mo Manning image is from Stamping Bella.  I colored with copics and added shading with my watercolor pencils.

Here are the pretty colors (love that they work for masculine or feminine cards):

CR84FN47 - Wishing you a Fairy Good Day

Time for another fun  CR84FN  challenge! I created this fairy in the flowers card for my youngest DD:
I started with paper from my friend Jacqueline. I pulled it out as it was the perfect pink to coordinate with the colors this week.  The image is from Stamping Bella and she had  a beautiful bouquet to coordinate with the colors.

The background is stamped with the Hero Arts Design Block - dots.  Sponged the edges of the pieces using Ranger Distress Inks Tumbled Glass and Memento Angel Pink. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things - Pure Innocence.

Here are the colors:

True Love

A quick post for today. Just sharing a card I had created a long time ago that was published in the October Crafts N Things.  I love the sweet image of the older couple (Mo Manning)  enjoying their afternoon sitting on the bench.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Bee-Day

The Colourq challenge colors this week  had me stumped and I had to think about it for awhile.  I decided to pull out this adorable fairy with her bouquet of flowers and create a fun birthday card.

The image is from Stamping Bella.  Colored with water color pencils. I died the doily and ribbon using glimmer mist to match the razzleberry color. The sentiment and bee are from Memory Box.

Here are the inspiration colors.
 Hope your Thursday is wonderful!

Friends - Wee Memories Challenge # 57 - Stamp It

Wee Memories challenge this week is to Stamp It and I thought it would be fun to ink up these fun girlfriends and create a card with them.  I am sure my DD's will want to use this for one of their friends.

The image is drawn by Mo Manning. I am a huge fan of her work. (Thanks to Alice and her lovely cards using Mo's images I started looking for her images in rubber)  There are a couple of companies carrying her images in rubber and I purchased the BFF stamp from Stamping Bella.  The background is the friends definition from Hero Arts. The sentiment came with the image and a wonderful sentiment for the image.

The image was stamped on watercolor paper and colored with markers and a water brush. The background was stamped with brown pigment ink. The ground was painted with the waterbrush and distress ink.

The butterflies are cut using the new Memory Box Butterfly Delight die cut and Memory Box dots paper.

The little tags are from a Hero Arts clear sentiment set.

Hope your Saturday is off to a good start. I have a few errands to run today and lots of cleaning. (Sigh) Seems like the dust bunnies have been playing in my house this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

CR84FN24 - Time Out

Time for another lovely selection of colors for the   CR84FN24 challenge this week.

I love this image.  She is so sweet with her attitude and her friend. The sentiment to me is very funny. I showed this card to my daughters and they didn't think it was funny. :)  They used to tell me that if I was bad they were going to put me in time out. What they didn't realize is that any mom would gladly welcome a time out! :)

Products: Stamping Bella - Time Out (Mo Manning), October Afternoon, Watercolor Markers (Tombo).
