MY DARK VALENTINE - DAY 5

Hello Peeps,

Sadly we are on the last day of this great Hop hosted by LEIGH and giving my darker side of Valentine's Day a bit of a shake up LoL

We have had fabulous 5 days and I hope that you enjoyed a bit of the Dark Side :-D

For today's piece I  used this amazing " GOTHIC ROSE " from   LEIGH SB DESIGNS.  
The background is an image of thorns (don't know where I got it from). I spattered it with some 'blood'. Then I mounted it onto black and red cardstock.
The Tag came from a digital scrapbooking set which I printed out. 
I coloured the Rose and then fussy cut it out leaving a teeny white border and stuck it on the tag.
I made the sentiment ziggy in Photoshop and glued it on the bottom.

Next using Leigh's awesome - POE LOVE , I made a sleeve using grey and white card which was die cut with a heart edging. Inside is a red tag for writing secret messages on :-)
I coloured the POE LOVE image and cut out the pieces to add on the front.

This one is an oldy but a goody to show you........ a little bookmark made from a large paperclip and a spooky/sweet image from  DILLY BEANS called ' HEART MONSTER'. I coloured him/her and layered up twice on thick card to make it strong.

I can't seem to find anything from Dilly Beans FB page since Dec 2017, so not sure if they are still trading :-(

Well, that's me done for the Hop folks. I am sad it has ended so quickly :-(

I shall spend some lovely time later this evening or tomorrow Hopping round all the other gorgeous entries and leaving some luuurve.  I have been plagued with migraines this week so been slacking a bit :-(

HALLOWEEN FATTY

Hello Peeps,

I have been making a Fat Page (6" x 6") to send to someone and I'm only going to show you the front so as not to spoil the surprise.

I have used DILLY BEANS images on the front and coloured them with Copics and Promarkers.

I started with a piece of thick cardboard from a packing box and then covered it with some fabbo Autumn colours canvas that someone sent me as a prezzie (sorry - can't remember who it was). I stitched it to both sides using some yellow string.
Then I placed my 4 images together and printed/coloured them.
I then used the string to stitch between the pictures.

I found a little bit of Halloween ribbon in my stash and a sort of feathered orange monster thingy - that is actually a hair clip. I got half a dozen of these a while back and I don't know what on earth they are supposed to be... if anything !!!!?

I am really pleased with the colours as it can be Autumn or Halloween :-D

Here's another little Halloween inspired piece for today, with a little Monster with his ThanksGiving Turkey bwaahahahaha !!
Image is 'HEART MONSTER' from DILLY BEANS and the backing paper is 'Halloween Howlers 4' by CRAFTY CHAOS (no longer trading).

He was coloured digitally in PSE9 and the turkey is a generic web image.

ATC MADNESS DAY :-)

Haha - Me again !!!!
I am on an ATC blast today Guys...... so here's anopther one.
I used 'Heart Monster' from DILLY BEANS.
I printed him 4 times and fussy cut him to make him 3D. He was coloured digitally. My backing paper is a snippet from the one I used earlier by Scrap With Lynn.... you gotta' use up your snippets right ?!! :-D I stamped "i luv u" with a cute little alphabet stamps set I have from Studio G.

I've got a load more ATCs but I can't show you those yet as they are on their way to the US as part of a Swap over at SMEARED & SMUDGED FORUM, and I don't want to spoil the surprise :-) They have lots of cool stuff going on there every month and different Challenges too. You really ought to pop over and have a looksee :-)

BOOKMARKS

Today I have made a Bookmark to enter in the Dilly Beans Challenge - BOOKMARKS.
I have used 'Heart Monster'. I coloured him digitally and then printed him out 3 times. He is 10cm high for this project. I stuck him onto very thick card and then fussy cut the other 2 prints and layered him up with silicone glue to make him 3D. I then made a giant paper clip with some wire and attached him to it and Voila !! - my bookmark.

So there he is. I think he's going to be strong enough if I am careful with him but I might cover him with glossy accents to make him very tough :-)

These are my pieces for POISONED PEAS PLEASE Challenge 8 - Sugar Skulls/Day of the Dead. We are sponsored by Dilly Beans and I have made 2 projects for you to see.
My first one is a card and the second is an ATC. I was lucky enough to get to choose a couple of images from Dilly Beans and I coloured both of them with pencils and baby oil.
I used "Day of the Dead Frida" and "Lila".

Here's my little Aubergine chap again. I think he's finished withering away now so I am going to dunk him UTEE and keep him foreva' !!! LoL

SMUDGY ANTICS - EVIL ALICE

Hello and Happy Monday and welcome to this week's Challenge over at SMUDGY ANTICS.

This week's challenge theme is:

"EVIL ALICE".

It seems Alice is huge these days!  Alice is everywhere!  She has video games, challenge blogs, tag and ATC swaps and who knows what else...all devoted to her and Wonderland!  That girl gets tons of attention!  We expect to see lots of entries this week.  Of course, being Smudgy Antics, we like things that are on the dark or edgy side of the art world.  Smeared Ink has made their own collection of AIW and let me tell you, Alice is all grown-up now!  You can find these jaw-dropping creations in the shop now.  I provided the link for the entire set, but these can be purchased as singles as well.  Trust me, you will want them all!  They are Hot!

We at Smudgy Antics challenge you to make the most mind-blowing AIW piece you can.  Make it evil, make it twisted, or make it seductive.  All of that will work.  Just stay away from the safe and cute stuff.  Save that for the other challenge blogs and tap into your dark side.  We dare you!

For my offering this week I used one of the new images called 'Rabbit'. Click Pic to enlarge...

I used the backing card from a stencil set I bought coz I like the clock, two cut outs from my New Xcut - one with Rabbit on it. I coloured it using Copics, pencils and baby oil :-) Thanks for the idea Helen xx

My eyes are from a Dilly Beans image and I have set them into flowers cut with a die.
