It may sometimes appear as if we're rather arbitrary here at Stirred, Straight Up with a Twist in our professed devotion to various hunks, starlets and songbirds of a bygone era, but trust us on this one: Eydie Gorme is on our short list of All Time Favorites. Today is her birthday (August 16, 1931), and we wish her all the happiness and pleasure she's given us over the years.
