One of my cute co-workers, Chelsea, is getting married this month. A few of the girls on the unit decided to throw together a little bachelorette party for her. As you can imagine, when labor and delivery nurses throw a bridal shower, there is nothing mild about it. As part of the planning, I was asked to make a lingerie cake. I looked around for a long time for ideas, trying to find a good balance between appropriate for the situation and appropriate for the LDS audience ;) I actually really like how it turned out, and it was a total hit at the party. The cute bride and groom were both there when I arrived with the cake, and it was so fun to see their reaction. I also got to hear their love story, and see how sweet with each other and in love they are. It reminded me of how exciting being engaged was! Chelsea got hooked up with some great necessities, and was educated on many points. It was an awesome night. I'm so glad I got to be part of it, and I'm super excited for my cute little Chels and her prince charming!

Thanks to Jodi for the two pictures in this post with actual people in them- again I failed and forgot my camera during the actual event!
