Lynnderella A Neutral Party

A manicure of oddities... an apparently "fluoro" blue and a neutral glitter. Huh.

One coat of A Neutral Party over two of TBN Blue Fluoro (which is a laughable name, by the way). A Neutral Party is a gold shimmer base full of earthy glitters in tan, brown, gunmetal, black and white. I loved wearing this. Blues and browns together are one of my vices. Love.

Lynnderella is available here.

Pretty Serious Hello World Collection

Sorry for being MIA. The past week has been very busy and stressful. If anyone ever finds a cure for migraines... please, tell me!

Onto some more awesome news. Kaz over at Pretty Random is gearing up for the launch of her line, Pretty Serious Cosmetics. Today I have the polishes from her inaugural collection, Hello World to show you which I won from Kaz's haiku competition last year :D

Check out the lovely packaging!

Now onto the swatches!

Morning Java. Two coats. A shimmery caramel brown with flecks of golden microglitter. My favourite of the collection and also one of my new favourite browns. It's gorgeous. Brown and gold are so good together! This has both shimmer and glitter yet it is not bumpy looking at all. Love.

Forbidden Fruit. Two coats. White creme with iridescent silver shimmer. Actually, it's not a pure white. It has a strong blue-grey cast. Most pretty! The formula on this was a little  fluffy - what I mean by that is it felt like the polish had been whipped (haha) and was light and airy. Still creamy and opaque though, only needed two coats. Not too shabby for a white!

Tux. Two coats. Black with a subtle teal shimmer. This is really dark and rich. There was a slight purple duochrome in the bottle but I didn't catch it on the nail. Tux reminds me of a smooth shimmer version of OPI Unripened.

BSOD. Three coats. Fine blue glitter in a cobalt jelly. It's insanely sparkly. One word... depth. If you like blue glitters, you'll definitely love this. Beautiful!

CGA. Two coats. A medium pink creme with blue-green shimmer. My pictures show this lighter and cooler than it appears IRL. Also, the shimmer looks silver here. I swear it's not! Very lovely but I'm still undecided about how I like it with my skin tone. I'll have to wear it as a full mani to see.

VT100. Two coats. A pine green with heavy gold shimmer. I love yellow based greens! A close second favourite for me. The shimmer makes this polish. It's so dense and almost resembles a glass-fleck or microglitter. Completely droolworthy.

And don't forget, all these shades come in a matching loose eyeshadow and lipgloss! They'll be available for sale on Monday at www.pretty-serious.com. Also be sure to check Kaz's blog (one of my favourites!) to keep updated.

Woohoo for Aussie-based companies! And woohoo for Kaz!

Lynnderella ChocoLotta Love

Sorry I've been a bit lax in posting these Lynnderellas but anyhow, here's the first one.

ChocoLotta Love. Two coats over Sancion Angel Trinity.

Mmmm.... Chocolate! Almost looks edible. It reminds me of  M&M chocolate cookies. Or maybe not so much the cookies but the dough. Yummy!

And here is what I layered CLL over--Sancion Angel Trinity. One coat.

A brown holo. Awesome! The holo effect is weak, like the Tronicas; but it adds a lovely glow to the polish. This is another lovely one I got from Brazil.

Hits Speciallità 389

I was part of an enormous Brazilian group order last year and this little beauty was part of my package. 389 is part of Hits' Glitter Forte range which I believe will be available on Llarowe soon.

This is two coats of 389 over Etude House Mocha Brown.

You can view an ugly-ass close-up if you click here.

389 is a mix of a couple shades of brown and copper glitter in a sheer brown base. I think you'd need four coats to make this opaque by itself and since the bottle is so tiny, I layered it. Plus, I like layering glitter.

Here is Etude House Mocha Brown all by it's lonesome.

Amazing formula. Opaque in one coat. But I did two just because.

I do love brown. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's right up my alley.

Past NOTD Spam

My nails are getting.... better. They should be all right after my next chop! Stupid peelies. In the mean time, here's some past NOTD spam.

China Glaze Lighthouse over Precision The Next It Girl. Sparkly yellow-gold glass fleck!

Here is The Next It Girl by itself...

Creamy egg-yolk yellow. Kind of seems like a blatant rip off of OPI The It Color. It is very nice nevertheless.

Anna Sui 300 over black. Anna Suis come in cute little rose bottles and smell like roses. Yummy! Plus, round glitter is surprisingly quite unusual.

BB Couture Bonnie. BBC glitter in a lush green, slightly jelly base. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

Flomar U31. Deep, almost black base filled with duochrome flaky shimmer. It flashes predominantly purple to pink and ever so slightly golden at extreme angles. Thanks to Kristy and Erina for letting me know about this :)

China Glaze Something Sweet. I haven't seen myself wear pink for quite a while now. So many pinks just look off on me. I did like this one though!

Unnamed Sasatinnie over Australis Here Today Gone Tomorrow. I picked up the Sasatinnie really cheap while I was in Asia. It's got smaller silver, green and blue glitter with larger yellow (gold?) glitter. It's very nice layered.

And the Australis by itself...

How nice is this?! Erina tells me it's a dupe for Illamasqua Rampage. A beauty!

Australis Blue Tiger with China Glaze Cracked Concrete. I'm not too sure I'm so fond of this combo. I think it would have looked better with white crackle instead.

Precision Toxic-Wasting My Time. Reddish, caramel-y brown with lots and lots of gold shimmer. I really loved wearing this. I do so very much enjoy gold shimmer.... :)
