My Friend

This card features Lizzie Anne stamps. I used the Glitter & Acetate technique on the flower, cut it out and popped it up for dimension. I use Art Institute Glitter for this technique.

I used a Marvy scalloped Circle punch and added some piercing for fun detail. I used the white gel pen so the piercing would show more.

Other supplies are from my stash here....but this is a card that would look fun with many different designer papers and ribbons!

Happy Wednesday!

This cute little fellow is by High Hopes. He's gussied up with Copics and White Gel Pen which Heidi does so well! Nestabilites provide the perfect backdrop, accented with the black doodling. Designer paper is such a fun way to add *pop* to a card. These stripes are by Cloud9 Design and they have such a variety of color combinations that they are perfect for any project! Ric Rac is a fun alternative to ribbon...check out all of the colors available at The Stamp Shoppe!

Whipper Snapper Mouse!

This adorable image is by Whipper Snapper Designs. These designs are lots of fun to color with the Copic Markers, they have nice open areas to practice your shading techniques! Remember to use your Cuttlebug Embossing folders....simply embossing a strip of coordinating cardstock adds so much to a card. Heidi added Prima flowers and coordinating gems that mirror the flowers in the designer paper. Check out the tiny scalloped circle frame around the sentiment!

High Hopes!

This critter has High Hopes for a Happy Birthday! This image is adorable using the *out of the box* technique. Stamp your image on white cardstock and color with Copic Markers. Highlight with a white gel pen. Then cut a portion of the white off....so your image is *out of the box!*
The desiger paper is by Heidi Grace.

One last TIP: Pull our your markers and match them with a fun sheet of paper....it's easier to match them *before* you color them!!

Hope you all had a Happy Memorial Day Weekend! ~michelle~

Birthday Surprise!

This is one of the sample cards Heidi and I created for the Sayner Stamp Convention. She colors the image and hands it to me with a piece of designer paper....I get to make the card! She deprives me of sleep....and provides me with caffeine until we both crash!

The image on this one is Whipper Snapper, is colored with Copics and highlighted with Inkssential White Pen.

I added doodling to the image to define it. I used the corner punch in a different way, tucking it under the image for just a little added pop of color. Nestabilities were used for the sentiment, which was popped up on a foam dot. Prima flowers, gems and some metallic ribbon add a festive feel to the card. Designer paper is Cloud9 Design. ~michelle~

The sentiment is simply cut out and attached with brads.
Hint: Use large abstract patterns as *scenery*. In this case I see mountains! ~michelle~

SPRING!

Check out this adorable Stampendous! image! I'm not sure if the ice will ever melt and spring will come.....but this sunny little card will make anyone's day brighter. The image is colored with Copics and highlighted with the white gel pen. Heidi Grace glittered flowers are a fun springy embellishement! Nestibilities are used for the sentiment.

TIP: For a fun and different look, take it off the side of the card! This gives you a fun shape and draws your eye towards the opening edge of the card. ~michelle~
