 Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Hier ben ik weer met een kaartje. Dit keer een vol tulpenveld. Naar het idee van Jeannette Bron. Haar kaartje stond 2 april op het Marianne Design blog. En omdat ik zo suf was met mijn 3D kit over het plaatje te knoeien, kon ik het weg stoppen achter een tekst sticker van Marleen. 

This time I'm showing you a card full of tulips. On the Marianne Design blog, I saw this card by Jeannette Bron. She made a lovely card. It became inspiration for this card. I spilled 3D kit on my cardtopper. I made it dissapear with a text sticker ByMarleen for Marianne Design.

DTCF: Lente/ Spring, Slimline label #03

 Hoi allemaal/ Hi everyone, 

Hier weer eens een berichtje van mij. Het werd alweer wat stiller hier op mijn blog... Afgelopen week was ik herstellende van COVID-19. Ik heb 4 dagen benauwd gehad maar daarna knapte ik gelukkig redelijk snel weer op. Nu alweer volle bak aan het werk.

Here's a new post by my hand. It's been a while (again). Last week I was recovering from COVID-19 I had troubles breathing for the first 4 days. After that, i recoverd pretty quickly. So after my quarantaine days I crawled behind my latop and started working.

De week voorafgaand was ik heeeeeeeeeeeeerlijk 5 dagen op Schiermonnikoog voor een 3 daagse cursus. Kortom een kleine werkvakantie ;) 

The week before I got COVID, I was on a Dutch island called: Schiermonnikoog. I had a 3-days-course (but I stayed longer to combine work and a mini vacation;) I love the best of both: learning and relaxing in a lovely piece of nature).

Deze eerste dag van april is de dag dat er weer een nieuwe uitdaging online komt van Crafty Friends. Het thema is deze keer lente (kleuren). Het kleurenpalet is er ter inspiratie of om jezelf eens lekker uit te dagen.

Ik maakte dit keer een slimline label die ik naar mijn tante stuurde die in de lente jarig is. Ze had een prachtige zonnige dag! (Wat een overgang hè? deze afgelopen dagen vergeleken met het weekend dat nog vers in ons geheugen ligt met al die zonuren... Vandaag gewoon sneeuw!).

I made a slimline big tag for the 3rd time since I bought it. With lovely papers and Dutch spring sentiments ByMarleen for Marianne Design. I don't know what's the weather like in your country but here it's snowing these last 2 days...so weird to see while springflowers and young animals are all around. It's like an error in my mind LOL In my opinion they can't combine ;)

DTCF: Flowers- Tulpen/Tulips

Marleens waterput #01 voor mama; Brugkaart #01

 Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Bij mij waren de mallen van Marleen voor Marianne Design 2 weken geleden ook binnen gekomen. Here I am to write about my new crafting supplies. They came two weeks ago!

Dit keer een kaart voor mijn moeder. Voor mijn ouders en directe naasten sloof ik mij altijd wat meer uit qua creaties. Daardoor werd het dit jaar voor mijn moeder wel wat lastiger. De bijzondere modelletjes had ik al eens voor haar of mijn vader toegepast en die staan soms nog steeds te pronken. Toen ik de kaart van Tineke van der Linden zag kwam ik op het idee om een brugkaart te maken met de waterput als eye catcher.

This time I made a card for my mom.I always make extra special cards for my parents so this time I wanted to do something new and extra special, combined with my new craft spupplies. Most different shapes are already used for my mom or dad. They keep showing the cards in their bedroom, livingroom or in the addic to enjoy them. So it's not an option to use a same shape twice ;) I know it is, but I don't want to! When I saw Tinekes card, I knew what I wanted to make my mom: a bridgecard with the wishing well of Marleen, designed for Marianne Design as a focal point.

Melkkan #01 met oranje tulpen

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Vandaag is het Koningsdag en daarom een kaartje met een oranje rand ;)
Geen op en top Holland kaartje maar wel met de oranje kleur vertegenwoordigd.
Wat gaan jullie vandaag doen?
Ik ga knutselen.

Today it's Kingsday here in The Netherlands. So I have not a typical Kingsday card but I have one with an orange touch ;)

DTCF: #106 Spring colors

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Vandaag een kaartje op mijn blog omdat er alweer een nieuwe uitdaging start op het CraftyFriendsBlog: Spring colors of te wel de kleuren van de Lente zien we graag op je creatie terug. Mocht je wat inspiratie willen dan is hier het kleuren palet waar je kleuren uit kan halen maar dit is niet verplicht.

Wij mochten aan de slag met een mooie digitale stempel naar keuze. Ik koos de tulpen in de gieter. Deze ga ik zeker vaker gebruiken want ik heb er al meer ideeën voor ;)

Tulpen/ Tulips #01

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Soms blijven plaatjes liggen en dat is zonde (maar soms ook nog even TE zonde om te gebruiken) herkenbaar?! Dat heb ik met het knipvel van deze prachtige tulpen. Ik vond ze te mooi om aan te spreken en nu is het zomer en bijna herfst en dan kom ik nog eens met zo'n kaartje om te showen haha. Ach gelukkig kunnen tulpen altijd omdat ze er in zo vele kleuren zijn.
Somtimes... cardtoppers and cards are so beautiful... It's a wait to use them. Right?
I loveeee these tulip cardtoppers and I wasnt about to make cards because I couldn't choose and wasn't planning to send them away.
Eventhough it's almost Autumn, I'm showing you these tulips.
Luckily here in The Netherlands we can buy them all the time.

Ik had het randje bewerkt met bruin en vond dat toch te hard. Dus nu een nieuwe label er overheen geplakt. Met passend vogeltje. Gestanst op wit copic papier en zelf ingekleurd in de kleuren van de tulpen

Ergens had ik gezien dat je de tulpen zo mooi rondom kon maken. Toch als ik het probeerde zag het zo gek uit... na wat onderzoek bleek... ze gebruikten de stelen van de blauwe druifjes... dus van mn tante geleend en de bovenste en aan de binnenkant zijn de originele steeltjes.
I saw on pinterest or a blog that a lady made the tulips in a cirkle. Everytime I tried that, it looked stupid to me... Turns out.. that they used different leaves. The tulips in the middle and at the bottom are made with different leaves.

Card in a box #01 met Daisy

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Hier issie dan eindelijk, de kaart die ik 2 weken geleden aan mijn moeder gaf voor haar 61ste verjaardag!
Hij staat nog steeds te pronken op de kast :)
Ze kan hem de hele Lente laten staan, zo slim was ik dan ook wel weer haha. Zo'n box card is een hoop werk en nu kan ze er extra lang van genieten. 

Finally here's my card I made for my mom. 2 weeks ago, it was her 61st B'day.
It's still showing off on her side tabel. I made a Springtime scène so she can keep it on her side table all spring (and summer ;) )

Toen ik met mijn tante 'project box card' ging uitvoeren liepen we meteen al tegen het eerste probleem aan: we konden hem net niet stansen uit kaartkarton voor 13,5 x 13,5 cm.
Het moest uit a4 papier (mocht je dat niet standaard in huis of bij de hand hebben zoals wij, dan kom je thuis van een koude Kermis).
Aangezien ik bij mijn oma ging knutselen hadden we het niet bij de hand. Gelukkig heeft mijn oma zoveel knutselspullen dat ze 'ergens' nog wel a4 karton had.
Thuis heb ik het ook wel bij de hand maar ja, ik was bij oma.
YES gelukkig had ze nog a4 kaartkarton in allerlei kleuren dus viel ons plan niet in duigen.

When my aunt and I started 'project box card' we bumped in to a few problems... The first is that we didn't had a4 papers... The dies of the boxcard weren't small enough to get them out of the standard linen crafting papers which we use for our card (27cm x 13,5 cm).
Luckily my granny has lots of 'forgotten' craft supplies, she found the papers we needed and could even choose from a big scala of colors ;) YES!

Na een hoop geëmmer met knijpers (omdat hij steeds losliet) hadden we een hoop pauzes nodig voor hij volledig af was. Die tijd konden we weer handig gebruiken om te kletsen, pinterest uit te kammen naar nog meer leuke ideeën of de stansjes te bewerken met inkt of brushpen/ Copics.
Uiteindelijk thuis de laatste hand aan de kaart gezet en dit is het resultaat geworden.
Ik ben er super blij mee en mijn moeder dus ook nog steeds :) Daar doe je het voor haha.
It took a lot of patience of me while making it. Everytime I wanted to add something, the box fell a aprart... So with some clothespins I had to keep it together :)
And pause every time... I could use that pause for chatting, pinteresting, coloring or inking the dies.
Eventually I took it home to finish. I am very pleased with the results and many of these will follow, I'm sure... I love these projects!
