DTCF: For a woman or girl/ voor een vrouw of meisje

 Hoi allemaal/ hi everyone,

Vandaag laat ik mijn bijdrage zien voor de uitdaging op het Craftyfriendsblog: voor een voruw of meisje. Ik koos ervoor om de kaart voor de moeder van een vriendin van mij te maken. Ze werd 60. Dat was natuurlijk wel een kaartje waard!

Ik heb begrepen dat de uitdaging nu nog niet online staat i.v.m. technische storing maar als je normaal gesproken meedoet, houd het uitdagingen blog dan in de gaten of maak alvast een kaartje en link 'm als het mogelijk is, je kunt tot 5 keer mee doen ;) Veel knutselplezier!

Mijn kaartje is zoals gewoonlijk voorzien van Marianne Design producten. Daarnaast is het gestreepte papier van de Action. De tekst sticker was een hele lange, die heb ik in tweeën geknipt.
On my card you see mostly Marianne Design products. The striped backgroundpapers are from the Action (a store here in the Netherlands). The sticker with sentiment was actually 1 long one, I cut it in half so it fitted next to the numbers.

Ik maakte deze kaart voor een sportmaatje met een gebroken elleboog, om haar een beetje op te vrolijken. Daarbij gebruikte ik de leuke wensput van Marleen.
For a sportfriend who broke her elbow, I made this card. To cheer her up. I used the wishingwell ByMarleen for Marianne Design.

DTCF: Summer colors/ Col ijsbeer #03, Flamingofloat #01, Sandcastle #01

Vandaag begint de nieuwe uitdaging op het Craftyfriendschallengeblog en het thema is deze maand: zomer kleuren. We hebben geen sponsor maar we kiezen wel een top 5 dus doe gezellig mee. Wie ga jij een kaartje sturen deze zomerse dagen? Mijn kaart gaat naar een vriendin en haar gezinnetje.

Ik heb het zandkasteel van ByMarleen gebruikt en de leuke (ijs)beer van Eline van Marianne Design. Ik heb het gemat op Kraft en ik gebruikte licht geel kaartkarton voor het zand van het kasteel. Verder de leuke accessoires gebruikt van de muizen van Eline om de (ijs)beertjes aan te kleden. Die passen ze perfect ;)

Daar ben ik weer met een kaart want vandaag start de nieuwe maand en dus ook de nieuwe challenge op het CraftyFriendsChallengeblog. Dit keer is ons thema: Verjaardag.

Zoals ik al zei mocht ik dus aan de slag met het cupcake elfje. Ik heb afgelopen week de leuke slimline mal binnen gekregen dus die moest ik meteen gebruiken zoals je vast begrijpt.

Ook wilde ik een cupcake toevoegen. Het vlindertje dat normaal wat meer onderaan de afbeelding vliegt wilde ik bij de cucake hebben en dus aan mij de taak om de digi uit te knippen. Dat was weer een hoop gepriegel maar het geeft -vind ik zelf- toch het leukste resultaat.
As I said, I used the cupcake fairy. Last week I orderd some new items like the slimline die by Marianne Design. So I had to use it right away. I also wanted to use a cupcake. The butterfly on the image is about to land on the cupcake. I think it smells good ;)

I did cut the image out in order to let the butterfly to the cupcake. It took me a while but I like the result.

Op de vleugels heb ik glossy accenten aangebracht zodat het net lijkt of de vleugels doorzichtig zijn. En de toef van de stempel cupcake goed geglazuurd is.

On the wings of the butterfly and the fairy I used glossy accents to make it look like the wings are see through.

Ik mocht een leuke digi uitzoeken bij de sponsor en koos voor een schattig draakje. Hij deed mij denken aan het draakje dat op de 'Mijn baby's eerste kerstbal' van mijn neefje zit.

I was lucky to choose a digi by choice and I chose this cute dragon. It reminded me of the dragon on the christmas bauble which I gave my nephew this december at his first christmas.

When I look at the card I think of lovely summerdays on holiday :) What a big difference compared to the weather outside (Autumn is really here now).

Door de hitte en de vakantie heb ik amper gevoel van tijd. Zelfs zo erg dan ik een week te laat mijn bijdrage laat zien voor het Craftyfriendsblog. Je kunt nog een week meedoen dus doe gezellig mee als je de fut hebt om te knutselen :)

Ik maakte met het vosje van Marleen (Marianne Design) 2 kaarten met dezelfde opzet alleen het werden toch echt 2 verschillende kaarten.Dat heb je wel eens :) ZO had ik er wel direct weer 2 bij voor de verzameling. Een poosje geleden schreef ik dat ik erg uitkeek naar zo'n kerstuitdaging 1 week lang. Nou die was direct toen ik vakantie kreeg alleen ik had na heftige werkweken totaal geen zin en rust om te knutselen... ik moest echt nog even in de vakantie modus komen. Nu zit ik zo in die modus dat ik totaal met de data in de war ben. Ik hoop dat jullie dat niet hebben ;)

Langzaamaan komen de kerstkaartjes van de tafel maar afgelopen hittegolf heb ik niks aangeraakt. Ik was in de ban van de boeken van de zeven zusters. Ik heb inmiddels gisteren deel 3 uitgelezen (voor de vakantie was ik net in deel 1 begonnen en ben nu in mijn 4e vakantie/werk-week (want ik werk wel half door in mijn bedrijf).

I made 2 Christmas cards with the fox die by Marleen for Marianne Design. Same idea but different in papers and embellishments. Another 2 cards for the big amount of cards I want to make for this year. 

Before my summerholiday started I was planning to play along in a Christmas cards challenge in july by making every day card to help you with the cards for th Christmas... It started on my first day of the holiday but... I needed to get out of the rush of work and I couldn't find the peace to craft. I was to restless. So I didn't play along in that challenge at all! For the first time in three years!! So there are still a lot of Christmas cards to make. That's why I made two cards on the same day with the same concept ;)

Slowly the cards are comming of my table (except last week... it was really too hot here in the Netherlands to go to my craftroom).

SO I read a lot these past weeks. I started the series of the seven sisters by Lucinda Riley. Did you read them? I'm starting in the 4th book now and also work half of the week in a relaxed modus in my practice with kids or admin work.

Ik koos dit schattige lieveheersbeestje om mee te werken. Om de easelkaart te versieren heb ik 2 (oude) knopen van de HEMA gebruikt en een strik (ooit van het Kruidvat) Verder heb ik 2 stansen gebruikt (het notitieblad en de rand met lieveheersbeestjes).

Het design papier is allemaal van Marianne Design.

De kleuren zijn geïnspireerd op de kleuren inspiratie foto (onderaan dit bericht) van Sundaystamps

Tuesdaythrowdown heeft een leuke bingo challenge, ik heb zelfs 2 rijen kunnen volmaken van de bingo kaart.

I chose this cute ladybug to work with and used buttons and a bow and the ladybug- and note-dies to embellish the card. I colored the image with my Copic markers. The design papers are by Marianne Design

Tuesdaythrowdown has a lovely tic-tac-toe challenge so I made this card with 2 rows of the bingo grid (see grid and my 2 rows below)

Het was moeilijk vast te leggen: ik had haar schoenen, vleugels en voelsprieten met glossy accents bewerkt.
It's hard to see on the picture's but I tried to show you here the glossy accents on her shoes (wings and headband).

 Mijn kaart heeft nog geen eindbestemming vandaar dat er ook nog geen tekst op zit.

My card doens't have a destination yet. That's why I left it still without a sentiment.

DTCF Lente kleuren

Het is alweer tijd voor een nieuwe uitdaging op het Craftyfriendschallengeblog.

Ik mocht werken met deze super schattige dame met haar hondje.

Ik heb de digi én het papier lekker fleurig gehouden in de lente kleuren van het kleurenpalet waar we ons aan houden. Ik heb er verder wel een verjaardagskaart van gemaakt want ik vond die ballonnen daar wel bij passen ;)

I chose to work with this cute lady and her dog. The digi and the design papers are in the colors of the color scheme. Because of the balloons I turned it in to a birthday card aswell :)

Dit is het kleurenpalet/ The color scheme.

Ik hoop dat met jullie alles goed gaat. Hier gaat het goed maar de afgelopen twee weken waren gekkenhuis wat werk betreft. Van volledig begeleiden naar 20u per week niet op school werken als zzp RT'er dus ook geen inkomsten daarvan. Wel 13 kids per week nog thuis begeleiden (eerst met scherpe maatregelen volgens RIVM maar sinds afgelopen maandag volledig online). Gelukkig was ik al 3 jaar bekend met online begeleiden maar gebruikte ik het amper. Nu 100%

Wat een geregel daar bij kwam kijken was niet normaal voor 13 kids. Nu loopt het allemaal zoals ik het wil en kan ik vol goede moed de komende weken in.

I'm doing ok.

I'm working as a independent entrepreneur (remedial teacher). No school is 20 hours less of income per week for the upcomming weeks... But luckily I have also 13 children in my own practice. The past 2 weeks were like crazy. So much to arrange to make the shift from live to 100% online working. Luckily I have already 3 years of experience with online helping kids but I prefer live. Now since last monday it's going the way I want it :) So I keep my head up high and keep going.

DTCF: Something new/ Iets nieuws

Nu we in 2020 zitten starten we bij het Craftyfriendsblog weer met de eerste uitdaging van het nieuwe jaar: iets nieuws. Dat is vrij breed denk maar aan nieuw jaar, nieuwe baan, nieuwe woning, geboorte, nieuwe spulletjes om mee te knutselen... kortom doe lekker mee er zit vast wat tussen waar je wat mee kunt.
