SDC 167 Masculine - Wednesday's With Claudine

Good morning all, we have a new challenge this week for you over at Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog and our hostess this week is Kim Howard

I know a lot of people have trouble with masculine themed cards or journal pages, I know I do.

Stampotique Stamps I used for this project are:
French Journal Page - By France Papillon
Angel Boy - By Daniel Torrente
Feakin' People Person - From Carol's Collection

I decided to do a small journal page for this one and I used a jelli print that I had made several months ago (gotta love those gelli prints)

if you would like to see a little of how this was created hop on over to my blog

thanks again for coming by

dreaming on a journal page

Still working in my little passport sized Moleskine journal but with only two pages left it's very nearly complete.  I switch between working in different sized journals depending on my mood, so I must be going through a small journal phase at the moment!!

This isn't want I originally intended for this image but that's the great thing about journaling, ideas flow as you work with the imagery (and I still have my original idea to work on!!).

It makes me think of the story of 'Where the wild things are' for some reason!!

Summer Love

Daniel Torrente's Mela and Josie  Cirincione's Little bird are featured in my "Summer Love" journal page.  The heat is on and Mela's expression says it all!
I love that Josie's little bird stamp is two-sided for either direction.  It's really a must-have stamp that fits in to any composition.

art journalled moustaches

Today's journal page was brought to you by an intense need to colour in these amazing monsters, a hidden text stamp and a paperbag!!

Let me know if you spot the unusual use of France's 'french journal page' stamp.  I've included step by step photos to this page on my blog.

love struck

I've been playing with Kira's fabulous 'smitten moustache monsters' in my A5 journal.  They are such a lot of fun :)  I don't know how I've resisted colouring them in, they are just shouting out for it ... but not on this page, today I wanted the black and white contrast.

There's more information on how I made my journal page over on my blog, The Art of Moodling, thanks for visiting!
Sarah :)

stampotique on a gelli plate

I have had so much fun this week playing with a new technique using my gelli plate.  Step by step instructions are available on my blog but I hope you like the mini journal page I came up with :) I have to say, Jo's shrooms are my favourite, favourite stamps and I love using them in my journals. I'd love to know what your favourite stampotique stamp is!
