Misunderstood
Don't you just love the new monster images by Stampotique's newest Artist, Kira Nichols!
The monster is stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then masked. To create the BG on both panels I used the Watercolor Distress Technique, using Ranger Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and Rusty Hinge. Once dry, I removed the mask on the monster and stamped the sentiment in Ranger Black Archival. To add color, I used STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils, using Gamsol for blending, then added highlights with STAEDTLER Triplus Fineliners. For the background panel, I added the Honeycomb in Ranger Black ink, and the Hexagon in Gesso.

Sleeping Beauty
There's still time to play along with the Stampotique Humorous Birthday Challenge - grab your Stampotique images and join us!
I started out by stamping Minkygirl in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then created a Mask from Eclipse Tape and placed it over my image. To add color, I pressed Ranger Distress Stains in Barn Door, Rusty Hinge and Mustard Seed onto a Non Stick Craft Sheet, and spritzed with water, then pressed my stamped side into the inky pool, lifting to try, then reinking to cover any white space. Once dry, I removed the mask and color the image with an H20 Brush and Markers.

Friendship Quilt
Hi, Lisa here today sharing my "scraps" card for the current challenge! The Quilt is created with MME papers and some coordinating Stampin' Up! card stock, I placed a Sheet of Scor-Tape on my grid sheet when forming the quilt, it was much easier than applying adhesive to each piece. I distressed the edges and embossed the quilt with the Damask Texture Fades Folder.
I stamped Olive Rose in Carmel on Vanilla card stock, then added this sentiment in Chocolate ink, and cut with Spellbinders Petite Oval, layering on Labels Twenty. I created some rolled flowers by punching 1-3/8" circles from pattern paper, then cutting the circle to form a spiral and rolled with a Petal Roller and glued in place - this all from scraps!

Denim Party Dress
Hi, Lisa here today sharing the card I created for the current Stampotique Recycle Challenge. I stamped the Pretty Party Dress in Black Archival on the Jean Shirt, cut it out, cutting off the hanger. I stamped the Damask in Stormy Sky Distress Ink to add a pattern to the jean material. I added the dress to a Tim Holtz Hanger and added it to the card with dimensionals. To create the Flower, I dyed a piece of the material with Ranger Distress Stain (Fired Brick) and cut with the Tattered Floral Die, added a pattern with the Mesh background stamp. To finish off the card, I added some Faux Stitching to the Cosmo Cricket papers and added the fun sentiment, also from Stampotique.
