Speaking of Dina Wakley....

Jane here and I was so excited to learn Dina Wakley is our guest!  Since the sun was shinning yesterday I wanted to use some yellow!  I had just followed up on a tutorial from Dina on how to get your creative juices flowing and made this card using "strut your stuff" # 2069 and "wish" # 3048 (from Stampotique store).  The tag was one I made after watching her tutorial..inks on a craft mat and then a little paint!  What a fun technique for getting your creative self going!  Not to mention the great tags you can make and save for later! :0  TFL! 

Christmas monster atcs'

Snowy greetings!  Since I am not making all my Christmas cards this year, I am trying to have a little fun here and there!  Alas...Kira Nichols  monsters!  I have a friend who is just starting to collect artist trading cards so I thought these would make a cute gift.  Key keeper, Whisker Monster with sign and Hug Monster!  Yay!

 

Hope she likes them!  They were all colored with copics, cut out and placed on inked up cs.  TFL!

Spooky Treat bags...

Gettin in the "spirit" ??...he he he!  the Halloween spirit that is!  Here are some spooky treat bags made with some very cool Daniel Torrente images... "Minky girl", and "two sticks"...

 I just grabbed some brown craft bags and inked them using some TH masks then stamped over them.  The tops of the bags are stapled down with black netting and a colorful tie die material.  Did I mention the black rubber mouse and fake garlic?  :)  These were really alot of fun! tfl!   Jane W.

Love this "quasimoto 3" and "sun design"!  This card is how I felt today....gosh I had a GREAT day! Sometimes when you really need that "good day" it comes along.....  I got lucky!  tfl!

All you need is TWO STICKS....

Two sticks:  #6006!  Jane here...Love love love this sweet image called "two sticks".  Can you tell?  he he he!

I decided to use the Unscipted Sketches challenge no.  112  for my card and the BG "out of print " dp.  I embossed a vanilla tag with my cb and did a little crazy sewing on the bottom in place of a swirl on the bottom panel.  Sentiment is computer generated.  What could be better??  Did I tell you that I LOVE this image??  :)   All you need is "TWO STICKS".... TFL!

Yep...it's Toby and Minky girl again...tee hee!

"anythingbutplainjane" here with Toby and Minky girl!  Made this card for my teenage niece...gotta love these two!  Colored the happy couple with copics and embossed the BG dp and did a little sewing.  On the inside I stamped the sentiment "Snarky"...Hmmm..was wondering when I made this card if it resembles the "REAL Daniel Torrente" (artist) and his girlfriend ????....  just sayin.... :)  have a great weekend! 

Vintage Postcard tag...

Hi there-  Jane here with a quick tag I made using the Vintage Postcard stamp.  The challenge was to make a tag with a Postcard theme...so what could be better then this image? :)  I sponged with TH weathered wood and black soot then stamped with the Vintage postcard image # 8114.  I ran the tag thru my cb and used a graphic 45 "proper gentleman" cut out car.  tfl!

Birthday wishes!

A bit late but worth celebrating all month when you are having a "milestone" birthday...such as "Mr. Jim" owner of  Stampotique.  Here is my card using the "make lots of wishes" #5020 image.  I stamped it 3 times and colored with copics.  Popped one of them up and put on the Paper Studio dp= polka dot multi.  The happy birthday dp was computer generated.  Phew...glad I'm not having a birthday till August....   :) lol
