Envelope Pull-Out Tab Album

Here is my Envelope Pull-Out Tab Album!
This project uses large and small square envelopes to make a great album for photos or journaling or many other uses! CD's will also fit into the large envelopes to make a great DVD, music or photo CD gift!
I have 24 photos in this album, and that is without using the small pull out tabs at all, with plenty of room left over for journaling! This is the perfect album to use when you just have way too many good photos of an occasion to fit on a scrapbook layout. It's also the perfect thing to give as a gift, especially with Christmas coming up!

You can add on as many extra pages as you want, if you want your album to be larger or smaller then the one shown. I have used Spice Cake DSP but you can easily use any pattern you would like. Album is approximately 5-1/2" square.

Circus Tent Gift Card Holder

Here is my Circus Tent Gift Card Holder! This card opens to put a gift card on the inside and give as a present to adults, children or anyone who needs a smile. It would also make great birthday invitation without the gift card on the inside!
You can even use this as a decoration for a circus scrapbook page!
Easily change up the colors or decorations to your liking!
This card fits in a standard medium SU envelope.

Woven 12” Scrapbook Double Page Layouts

Here are my Three Woven 12” Scrapbook Double Page Layouts! I had so much doing my Three Cards and Box with this color scheme, that I just had to do some scrapbook pages too! I love this great Spice Cake Designer Series Paper from the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog that I used to do these, but you could easily change the paper to anything and easily use this layout for any occasion! These would make great new baby or beautiful wedding page layouts!
The tutorial includes step-by-step photos and directions to do all of the weaving for the backgrounds as well as the punch art and stamping.

12"x12" Mini Book

I got this book idea from a mini book that they made on the Alaska cruise (I think) that a fellow demo showed me. I made this in a class with my my kids and nieces and they all loved doing them! They are aged 4-10 and then 4 adults also. It was easy enough for everyone! I thought this would make the cutest little scrapbook or just a little book to draw in.
The directions to make it are below!

For the pages of the book you need one sheet of 12" x 12" cardstock. You are going to score it in one directions at 2", 6" and 10". Score in the other direction at 3", 6" and 9". Then you are going to cut along the red line I have shown going through the center of three of the sections.

Now you are going to fold up the two inch sections all the way across. These are the pockets that will hold the removable pages.

Now fold in half on the center score. You can accordion fold the end strips to make the pages.

Fold these on both sides. This will give you all of your pages. You are going to tape the backs of the pages together where the three red arrows are shown pointing.

Now all of your pages are together and you are ready to decorate. This is all from just one sheet of 12" x 12" paper!

You will need a 4"x4" piece of DSP to tape to the back of the end pages to make the front and back cover. The insert pages are 3-3/4" x 2-1/2". You need 8 of them. The belly band is 1" x 8-1/2".

Then just decorate however you would like and you are finished! I used The Open Sea stamp set from the Summer Mini catalog with matching DSP.

Castle Frame

After my trip to Disney World I was inspired to make this frame for my daughters photos!
The full frame size is approximately 16" x 19" and holds 11 photos! You can hang this on a wall as it is, or you can put the entire thing into a glass frame.
You can also change the colors of the castle so it won't look like the Disney castle for whatever type of frame you want!
This would be perfect for any little girls room! Print the templates smaller and it would perfect for a scrapbook page!
You do not need 12" x 12" paper to make this, only 8-1/2" x 11".

Scrapbooking with Bright Colors

I decided to go to of my comfort zone and use some bright colors for this page. I think it ended up pretty good, especially in person it looks a lot better then the photos.
I used the 2-1/2" Circle Punch for some of the photos which is the perfect size for scrapbooking!
I also used the large die alphabet for the Big Shot from Stampin' Up which was well worth the purchase. I use these big letters so much, way more then I thought I would.
These pages are of Ashley at her school ice skating program with her friends.

Scrapbooking Rainy Days

I finally have gotten my act together and started some scrapbooking again. Every time I take a break from this and start again I forget how much I love to do it! Of course these pictures are from March 2009 so I'm a little behind!
I had my sewing machine out for something else and saw a project like this in a magazine and got inspired. I love this idea for the rain clouds with the stitching and brads! I used the new Tasteful Trim die with the Big Shot to do the scalloped border at the top, also the Naturally Serif Alphabet for the words. The small clouds are made using the cupcake punch!
Here are some close-ups of the pages.

Boy, are my kids cute! I love how scrapbooking a certain time brings it right back to you like it was yesterday!

Gingerbread Boy

My mom made this and showed me, and it was just too cute not to post! It's just using the Fancy Flower Punch and the white gel pen to make a cute little gingerbread boy. I can't wait to use this for scrapbooking pages!

Photo CD Holder Album

Here is my Photo CD Holder Album. You can decorate the inside pages with pictures and then include the photo CD to give as a gift! I have it decorated for the holidays but you can easily change the Designer Series Paper and colors and make it for any occasion!
The album has four to ten inside pages to decorate and space for two CD’s to fit into pockets. It is approximately 5 1/2" square and will fit in the square SU envelopes.
This would be the perfect Christmas card to send to family and include a CD of the pictures!
Or make it into a scrapbook album and put the CD with the photos inside so you have them all together!

Fall Fun Scrapbook Page

Here is my Fall Fun Scrapbook page with my kids and my nephew Dylan playing in the leaves at my parents house. Can you tell I'm a little behind on my scrapbooking? This page is from 2008! I guess at least I'm in the right Season!
The tree is cut freehand out of the wood grain looking piece of the Woodland Walk DSP. The leaves are using the Big Shot with the leaves #2 die. The stem part of the leaf is the branch from the Bird Punch with just half of each leaf cut off to look more like the veins in the leaves. I used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Cajun Craze and More Mustard card stock for the leaves and Crumb Cake card stock for the pages. These are 8 1/2" square pages.

I also used the large die cut letters (Serif Essentials) from SU for the 'F' in the Fall Fun words and I love them! Definitely worth the purchase price, these letters work great for everything! I cut one out in Chocolate Chip and the other out of Cherry Cobbler and just layered them to look like a shadow. The circles are punched using Chocolate chip card stock with the 1" circle punch and just taped to the back of the More Mustard card stock that is behind the photos.

Fold-Out Scrapbook

Here is my Fold-Out Scrapbook project. There are over 10 pages to decorate and add pictures to! You can make this into a scrapbook or a flip open card. This is the perfect project to showcase one event or vacation and really easy to make up and give as a gift! Make it your own by changing the paper colors and photo layout!

I also gave my first stab at making a mini video to show you how the book opens, check it out below!

Owl Cards Addition

Here is my Owl Cards Addition Class!
This project has the same card template as the Owl Purse & Cards (except no template for the purse) with all new outfits!
This tutorial includes templates for all of the outfits shown here as well as templates to make the baby owls that I have previously posted pictures of on my site!
These would be great invitations for a Halloween party or for scrapbooking the photos afterwards. I thought the cheerleader would be perfect during football season as an invite to a watch game or for a Superbowl party! You can change up the outfit for any team!

( My husband is a Jets fan, can you tell?)

Scrapbook Dresser page

Here is my Modern Label Dresser page. I have seen a bunch of different cards with a dresser on them so I had to give one try. Here is my version! The picture is of my little Ashley peanut when she was just a few weeks old. She hated her baths and would scream the entire time and be worn out by the end.
The words are from the Naturally Serif Die cut with the Big Shot. The background on the paper is done with the Decor Roller in So Saffron and Pink Pirouette ink to match the paper. ( I measured 1" marks across the page and then lined up my roller with a straight edge to get them equally spaced and not crooked.)

I used the Modern Label punch for all of the drawers and for the cut out on the bottom of the dresser to make the legs (just half a punch out). I stamped the image from the Artistic Etchings stamp set on each drawer to add some decoration and put a small Basic Pearl in the center for the handles. The mirror is the from the Decorative Label Punch from the Holiday Mini Catalog. This is a new punch that will be for sale to everyone when the catalog starts on September 1st. (This is another great reason to be a demonstrator, we get to pre-order all the new fun toys early!) I used the Word Window Punch for the supports that hold up the mirror in back of the dresser.

For the shelf I used the ends of the Modern Label Punch cut at an angle and the hooks are the new Basic Pearls. The hangers are from wire that I just bent into shape and of course the little onesies and items on the shelf are cut out from the Baby Bundle stamp set.

Things I used for this project:
Artistic Etchings
Baby Bundle
Basic Pearls
Modern Label Punch
Decorative Label Punch (2010 Holiday Mini)
Word Window Punch
Naturally Serif Die
Big Shot
Decor Roller
