Theme: Fabric / Textiles

For my card I used a Stampin up embossing folder that is cable knit.. I added to fabric piece of ribbon and then some bakers twine.. I added the My favorite bow with DCWV dp.. I added the birthday and used Tech. Tues. banner. I finished with a few bling gems.

Polkadoodles

I am using the image Poppy flowers autumn fox from Polkadoodles... I know the flowers are to be red but wanted to keep the fall feel colors.. I used copics and added my clouds with a template I made and used Ranger ink.. I used Rubber seed grass and Stampin up die flowers with a little Nuvo drop to the center.. I put the flower on the twine knot..

I had fun creating this card.. Well I do for most of my cards.. I used the Stampin up embossing folder and then stamped the Stampin up flowers and colored with copics. I added twine and a SU punch heart that I embossed and swiped with gold ink. I added the sentiment and used Tech Tues banner die.

Hello and it's almost June... Warmer weather and great time to vacation even if it's those short trips and doing something fun.

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme:  letter D - for Dog

I made this card for my daughter .. She has a couple Corgi's and thought this would be a fun card to send to her.  I stamped the My favorite image and heat embossed the sentiment. I colored the doggie with copics and using my cloud template added the clouds with Ranger ink. I used MFT stitch die and backed with black card stock.. I added twine to the Basic Gray designer paper and added a twine layered bow.. I added the image and sentiment. I punched about 5 hearts with Stampin up punch and layered them for the thickness. I added some glossy accents but it didn't look right so I scraped it off and added some fine glitter.  I tied to color him the color of my daughter's corgi.. think it came out cute.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Glitter and bling or St. P. Green

So for my card I made a calendar page. I do this every year as a group of 12 friends (some I know and some I don't) we each pick a month and make 12 of that month and then my friend gathers everyone's pages and then she uses my binding machine and puts the year together. So this is my page. 

I water colored the background and then took a Simon says over all stamp and lightly stamped it. I watercolored green a couple papers and when dried I used a heart die from Stampin up and cut enough for the 12 pages. I have a die from Tech. Tues which is wholes.. and I just cut pieces to give interest. I took a button and twine and stamped the sentiment and used TT banner die. I used left over from the heart paper and cut stems. Then it's a matter of putting pieces together. This is the outcome. I like it.

So..... I used the Stampin up punch AGAIN. I can't help it.. with so many pretty papers it's not hard to chose the punch again. I used DCWV papers and love the glitter and colors. I added to the background which I stamped Merry Christmas from Denami designs. I added twine and a few diamond painting drills to the top of the ornament.

I got this stamp set from Stampin up and thought perfect for this card. I used scraps of paper laying around and SU ink. I embossed the sentiment and used a My favorite things die to create the table and added twine. I went over the drinks with Spectrum noir sparkle brush and added a few diamond drills.

Our letter this week is

O - for OWL

For my card I took a paper I made a long time ago with paint and inks. It's so pretty I didn't want to use it but thought it's perfect for coloring of an owl. So I stamped the Tech. Tues. owl and heat embossed in black. I took a twine and added a little swipe of black in along it and added it for the line he's standing on. I added a few punched twigs and the sentiment is from the set. I used Stampin up die. I added a few diamond painting drills for added bling.

For my card I got this new stamp set last month from Stampin up and wanted to use it. I stamped the images and die cut the background greenery. I colored the thistle with copics. I laid out the images and then punched the bird with a Martha Steward punch. I added the butterflies from SU and added some diamond drills to the centers. I added some twine and the SU sentiment. This is all added to Authentique designer paper.

I used a Christmas stamp set from Stampin up for the image. I didn't ink up the mistletoe that is over the cats head.. I thought it's a great birthday card vs. Christmas card.. I colored with copics and added the SU punched heart that I layered to give some depth to it. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment and added to the My favorite things die cut and added some twine and brad so it looks like a sentiment wall hanging. I went over the heart and water with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

I have this fun stamp and it's on a nice block but I have no idea who it's by.. It's quite old and I love lizards so this is one of the one's I would of bought many years ago.. Anyhow I stamped him on a scrap I had from a scrapbook page and colored with copics. I added the Stampin up thank you and distressed the edges with Ranger ink. I added to a scrap of designer paper and finished with some twine and a button.. I think any guy would love this card..

Every year a group of 12 of us each get a month and we make 12 pages, usually the same for that month. I got November. So I made 12 of these pages. My dear friend comes over after she's collected the other months and she uses my Binding machine from Taylored Expressions and  put them all together..

We get an awesome year of crafty happiness every month.  

I used Stampin up gray card stock, and embossing folder by Sizzix. I stamped the Stampin Up flower and colored with copics. I die cut the flowers behind with scraps. I added some twine, the sentiment is from Tech. Tues. and die cut with SU. die. I added the calendar backed with SU card stock and finished with a gem.

This is my card using the Mr. Slaters parrot.. I colored with copics. I think I should of googled parrots and colors but I didn't want to be the bright reds/yellows and such but I think the softer tones are ok.. Parrots are so pretty. I added some left over diamond drills. hubby pointed out that looks like the parrots is making a mess... lol. oops .. glue has dried so they are there to stay.. I took my banner punch and using the foil from coffee cans to keep the coffee fresh till you open it.. punched 3 banners. Added the twine.  The sentiment is from Tim Holtz snarky booklet. Looks like he doesn't care with his look and Mr. Slaters look.
