Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #386 

Theme:  Squash it - use an embossing folder

Oh my I am loving these moths.. I bought this die set from Emily Moore Designs and I loved them so much I also bought the other two moths dies. side views.. I got some stencils from her too .. I will be using them in the near future. 

I just grabbed some scraps and die cut a bunch of pieces and them created the moth I thought looked good with color choices.. 

I didn't add a sentiment cause I don't know who I am sending it to yet or for what occasion... 

I used an embossing folder for the background..

Hello

It's time for another challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #274

Theme: April showers

For my card I used Simon Says heart stencil and Ranger ink to add the raining hearts. I got scraps and die cut the umbrella from My favorite thigs, and the boots from Simon Says. I cut the flowers off the boots. I added the hello spring from Simon Says and die cut MFT. with Stampin up ink.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Monochrome colors

I had a friend over and I was making cards for design teams I am on and she was just using my stamps and papers and creating. She made a card with this old red rubber Stampin up set.. And I said oh wow I need to create a card and dug through my scrap box (it's big) and found these scraps. Now to find a card base with that color.. found it. so I stamped and fussy cut the flowers and leaves. I used a zig zag die for the steam and used the Simon Says smile die which I stacked to make it sturdy.. I really like how it came out.

I had this scrap and thought it would be a fun image for a book mark.. I used Paper trey ink die and cut it out.. I punched a hole at the top and added a enforce circle protector that I added some ink and text stamping to. I finished with some yarn.

For my card I used Purple base, Orange and then Black... I stamped the mushrooms and used Copics to color.. I really like this mushroom stamp and I've used it so much over the years you can't read who produced it.. lol

Theme:  Vellum

I was looking for a cute bee die and found this on Amazon.. May Joy DIY.. I don't usually do this but didn't know where else to look.. I used a lot of scraps. I did vellum on the larger bee wings, and vellum besides the leaf dies.  I like the look and figured no place for the sentiment so it will all go inside. I did add a gem to the flower centers.

I used scraps to create to waves and sun.. This is a stampin up die. I hardly ever use it and I see a lot of cards using this die for different looks.. I also used Stampin up ink to stamped the boat. I finished with some Simon says sea gulls.. The sentiment if a red rubber with no name and I used a Tech. Tues. die.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Theme: include a tree

I used Stampin up ink and the Christmas tree die and wreath die.. I used SU ink and did the trees. I used SU red card stock and used an embossing folder with the swirls.. I also used vellum and the dot embossing folder.. I layered and added the the card base. I heat embossed the SU sentiment. I was going to add some gems but decided not.

Theme: H - Home

I saw this cute wood block Holly Berry House stamp and had to use it.. I colored with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink.. I used My favorite things to cut the two circles.. I found some scraps and used Stampin up embossing folder on the red piece. I added the Paper trey ink sentiment and used SU oval die. I added the SU puched hearts and added wink of stella to the hearts.

Theme: G for Girlfriend

I don't have a Girlfriend words in my piles of stamps.. at least I couldn't find one. So I chose Besties because my girlfriend is my bestie.. We have so much fun together.  I used a piece from one of her Stampin up Pumpkin kit.. It's to hold a tag or gift card.. I used a SU embossing folder and then added the holder that I added some Taylor Expressions flowers I die cut from Scraps I added some My favorite things leaves cut from scraps. I added the Reverse Confetti Besties and Tech. Tues. words. I finished with some Diamond drills.

Ram Stamps

I am using the image Letter to Santa from Ram stamps.. I colored with copics and used a My favorite things die to cut out and backed with the pink. I added to some paper I forgot I had in another closet as I was looking for something else and never found... but found this cool piece. It was a 12x12 which I cut down to 6x6 so I have other chances to use it.  I saw this sentiment from Simon says that could be great for the person receiving it vs. Santa receiving it.  I heat embossed it. I added some diamond drills so it looks like snow.

Hello and where did June go???

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: F - feathers

I used a lot of scraps for this card. I dug out my Stampin up punch and created the owl and branches. I used Taylored Expressions and created the clouds and used Ranger in to color. I used Simon says feather die and finished with some punched SU flowers which I put a left over diamond in from my diamond paintings.. I added to a scrap of Quick Quote piece. I added the Sweet shoppe sentiment sticker.  I also used black diamonds for the eyes

Theme: Checks or Plaids

I dug through scraps and found this cool plaid.. funny when I look through my paper pads I always find plaids but when I NEED to make a card with plaids  ---- can I find one NO.. I dug through my scraps. 

I used the Stampin Up punch for the bird and leaves.. I used another SU die for the other leaf. I layered the punch pieces just to make them a little more sturdy. I added to the plaid. I added a diamond drill for the eye and a few blue ones to the card. I stamped the sentiment.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Theme: E - embossing / wet or dry

I was digging though some die images I had already done a long time ago.. I saw these flowers and thought I better use them while I know they are there now.. lol.  I took a piece of scrap and a small Stampin up folder and ran it through. I then added the flowers together and laid them out I needed a vertical sentiment so found this one. I stamped but it looked a little off (it's a red rubber stamp) so I stamped on a piece of card stock and used Tech. Tues. banner die.

I love fishing and I have a friend who's birthday is coming up next month so thought why not I am sure he'll enjoy it ... So I created this card. I used Stampin up dies and scraps. I created the easel card and inside I stamped the Hampton stamps fish and colored with copics. I added the Sweet shoppe sticker and I really like how this came out .. I love all the colors.

Hello

Boy are we getting hot weather in the Pacific northwest.. SW Washington... Hot hot hot. stay cool and hydrated.. use sun screen and don't leave pets in the car or in a dog house out in the sun.. they need shade too and plenty of water.. my two boy dogs love staying in the house.. so we have a fan going for them to stay cool

I found this cute seahorse paper in my K&company pad so used it for the sea feel of my card. I stamped the shell and used copics to color it. and I fussy cut it out.. thank goodness it was simple. I'm spoiled by dies.. I thought it needed some sand so I used a Rubber baby buggy bumper old stamp and created the sand look and just cut out a mound. I put the shell down and though it needed more so I looked at my greenery stamps and found these Stampin up dies so I found some scraps and added them and the shell looks better with them in the background. I stamped the sentiment.

Hello and hope your start to summer is going good

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Include Merry 

I still had some of this beautiful paper from Quick quote so used it for the background. I used some card stock and die cut the Simon Says sentiment out about 4 times and layered.. I have some gold sparkle ink and tapped it on the sentiment and set is aside to dry out. later I added the sentiment and tapped ever so lightly the ink again as it soaked in. I added some gold gems. In person this is really pretty. Computer doesn't do it justice..

Hello and it's almost June... Warmer weather and great time to vacation even if it's those short trips and doing something fun.

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme:  letter D - for Dog

I made this card for my daughter .. She has a couple Corgi's and thought this would be a fun card to send to her.  I stamped the My favorite image and heat embossed the sentiment. I colored the doggie with copics and using my cloud template added the clouds with Ranger ink. I used MFT stitch die and backed with black card stock.. I added twine to the Basic Gray designer paper and added a twine layered bow.. I added the image and sentiment. I punched about 5 hearts with Stampin up punch and layered them for the thickness. I added some glossy accents but it didn't look right so I scraped it off and added some fine glitter.  I tied to color him the color of my daughter's corgi.. think it came out cute.
