Hello - miss you - Color Throwdown #586

I was a lucky winner over at Color Throwdown March 11th

 and so I am a Guest Designer this week. 

There's a new challenge at Color Throwdown #586 

this is the color challenge for this week

Pink, Purple, White

This is my card. I used Pretty Pink Posh images and stamped the images on water color paper and using Prima confessions paints painted the flowers and leaves. I used the dies. I laid out the images. I then used some light purple card stock and Simon Says hello die and cut out 4 times and stacked. I then used dark purple Stampin up card stock and heat embossed in white Simon Says sentiment. I used a Stampin up tag die and added to the card along with the hello.. I added some Stampin up and Pretty Pink Posh jewels. I went over the flowers and hello with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Friends are the family - Cute N Crafty Challenge #27 - Guest Designer

I was a lucky winner from a challenge I entered over at

Cute N Crafty.. So I not only got some cute images from their store but I get to be a guest designer for these two weeks.

Did you know that June 8th is best friends day?.. So this is the perfect time to get those cards made so you can send them out to that bestie of yours..

 

Plus it's the 1 year anniversary at Cute n Crafty..  Congratulations!!

 

 

 

 

This challenge is sponsored by Besties Stamps  and the image is called Best friends forever.. I colored the image with copics. I layered this onto a piece of designer paper and tied some Jillibean twine along the bottom and added the Simon Says heat embossed sentiment. I had a Stampin up butterfly sitting on my desk so added this to the card and added a pearl tear drop to the body. 

I hope I have inspired you to make that best friend of yours a card.. I sure hope I get one too..
