Our theme this month is

DRY OR WET EMBOSSING / and or FLOWERS

I am glad that we're getting people back for our challenge. We are all new and I hope you all will spread the word that we're back and better.. 

For my card I used a Stampin up image and used stampin up inks. I love this stamp set. It is so much fun to use and I didn't use any copics. I guess I could if I wanted to add more color.. but I like how this came out. I used Kat Scrappiness die. I rand the card stock through an embossing folder. I added the image and the SU ribbon to the card. I stamped the sentiment and using a Spellbinder die and corner chomper added the sentinent to the ribbon and a Jubilee heart. I added a diamond painting drill to the flower center.

I am using the image Yummy treat.. I thought she was making a birthday cake for that special someone so it's a birthday card. I colored with copics. I used My favorite things stitch die to cut her out. I added to some scraps of designer papers. I stamped the Jessica Lynn sentiment and used my Corner chomper.   I added a heart and some clear Nuvo to the batter.

It's the first of the month so it's time for a new challenge

Happy Little Stampers challenge - October 

This is my card using the image from Tech. Tuesday. I stampin on some watercolor paper and using my Mission Gold watercolors painted the image and background. I splattered some paint after it dried. I then Stamped the sentiment also from Tech. Tues. and using my corner chomper on the pink piece and Stampin up punch for the green piece added them to the card with foam dots. I added some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

This is my card.. Have you ever made a card for a design team you're on and then realize you forgot the OPT: part of the challenge??????  Yup. I seem to do that now and then and sure enough I did it again.. Thank goodness it's also ATG.. I broke out the corner chomper tool and rounded the two corners.. It's not square now.. right?? 

I am using the image frog n friend. I colored the image with copics. I added my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used a My favorite things stitch die. I added to some My Minds Eye designer paper and a scrap strip. I heat embossed the Tech. Tues. sentiment on another scrap and using MFT die to cut out. Then the last thing is the corner chomper.. lol

This is the sketch to follow

For my card I used Daffodil watering can  from the Bugaboo store.. I colored the image with copics. I used a Spellbinder scallop die. I found some scraps from Quick quote and used the Paper Trey Ink large scallop. I backed the image with a green card stock and used my Corner Chomper. I added with some foam dots. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and heat embossed and fussy cut around the words also added with some foam dots. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

Hello.. We are back from our time off for the Holidays..

I am using the image Birthday cocktail.  I kept the drink clear and bright.. I think it's probably some sort of mint drink?? I used copics. I then went over the drink with my Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I die cut three Reverse Confetti Cheers from Quick Quote scraps and stacked them. I added some Sequins and Nuvo drops. I rounded the corners with my corner chomper and added to another scrap of QQ designer paper.

this is Day 4

 so below is my card

I laughed when I created this fun card. I first used my cloud and ground template and Ranger ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues. squirrel and painted with Prima watercolors. I stamped the Pretty pink posh coffee cup and painted and cut out. I stamped the Dylusions sentiment and Sugar pea "coffee" word. I used Comotions letters and created the "helps". I used corner chomper.

This is Bear candy cane.. I colored the image with copics. I cut the image down and rounded the corners with the chomper. I found this awesome candy cane paper scrap. I wrapped some twine around the end and added this to the card base. I cut two banner pieces and went over them with Ranger ink. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment on each and added behind the image. I went over different parts with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

This image is AKV turkey.. I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I then used a Spellbinder die. I found this piece of designer paper for the base and stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment. I used a corner chomper for the decorative edges. I added a twine bow and some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

This image is called Artic Sparkle ..  I am loving this new company and her fun images. This image was fun to color and bring to life. I first found this DCWV designer paper so I went with those colors for coloring the image. I used copics. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the dots on her dress, stars and lips. I heat embossed the Simon says sentiment and used Corner chomper.

So this image was one of the Christmas in July new release images.. I thought I would use it for todays card. I was digging through my pattern papers and found this Echo park paper so use it and then colored with copics the image using some of the colors from the pad. I used My favorite things stitch die. I added this to the background. I then heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment on a scrap and using corner chompers I wounded the corners and added to the card. I added some sequins and Nuvo drops to the center of the sequins. I went over some of the image with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

You perk me up - Coffee Lovers Spring / Summer blog hop day 4

It's day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Spring / Summer blog hop..

I have a card to share.. shock huh.. Are you playing along?

 

Last year I won a stamp set from Art Impressions. This is one of the images and sentiment from that set. I thought with the sentiment "you perk me up" I should have sun rays behind the image so I used My favorite things stencil and Ranger ink. I then stamped the image and found this scrap of Quick Quote scrap and managed to cut around the saucer so it looks like it's on the table. I colored the image with copics and went over the heart flowers with Nuvo glitter pen. I used corner chomper on the sentiment and added a twine bow and sequins.

I used Sugar Pea stamp set an Altnew ink and stamped the ties and border. I used My favorite things thanks die and Sugar pea dad die. I added a few Nuvo drops and rounded two corners with my corner chomper.

The world needs more kindness

Today I wanted to share a card I made using left overs.. Last month or was it two months ago I made a card using the Mama Elephant 12 square frame.. I had these left over pieces that came out of the center.. the sq. part. Well I am not one to waste so I took my corner chomper and took off two opposite corners. Leaving me with the petal looking image. I used some Quick quote chalk ink and just dusted the sides. I then used some dark card stock and started to play around on a design.. I finally finished with this one. I added the pieces on foam dots. I took Honey bee stamp and die and heat embossed "the world needs more" and using shiny silver looking card stock die cut the kindness a couple times and layered and added them to the card. I added a half pearl for the dot on the I..cause I couldn't find the silver one.. This was fun trying to figure how to use the left over scraps.

Mid month reminder for our challenge at Creative with Stamps #26

and the theme is MOTHER

So this card.. I wasn't really caring for it.. I was trying to do the CAS and this one is CAS but I am not liking as much as the others I've done recently.. I used Altnew ink and Paper trey ink images. The two little birds that are not colored in are from Mama Elephant. I finished the card with this awesome wired ribbon.
