Theme:  Star wars day - anything to do with space

For my card.. It's funny I woke up yesterday thinking of this design so just went for it.

I stamped the image so I could figure size for arch.. image and sentiment is for My favorite things.

I colored with copics and used Tech. Tues die for sentiment. I took my Stampin up space dp and cut a arch. I took black cardstock and cut another arch. I used Oxide ink to color the frame. I added perfect pearls for stars.. I added to the card base and added the cute image.

Theme: Halloween colors

Halloween isn't my thing but I sure love the colors.. I used a scrap base and used a Stamp camp over all stamp for the marble background using Stampin Up ink.. I then stamped the sails from a stampin up set in SU ink and cut them out.. Arranged into pin wheels and added a button to the centers.. haven't used buttons in quite awhile and I like the look vs. die cutting a circle. the sentiment is from Simon says  and used a Tech. Tues banner die.

I am using an image from Last Minute Manda - Lottie witch costume waving her wand... I colored her with copics. I ended up making a birthday card as I don't do Halloween and thought birthday was better. Hello and welcome back to our monthly challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #378

Theme: Autumn / fall

I borrowed the awesome embossing folder from my Stampin up friend.. I used Stampin up ink and applied it to one side of the embossing plate and added my white card stock and carefully closed the folder and ran it through my big shot.. This is the end product..  I love it. I love those detailed embossing folders and this ink tech. is so much fun to do. I found a sentiment from Tech. Tues and used the SU die and went over it with a blending brush..  Added this to a piece of green card stock and added some diamond drills.

Theme: Fun with stencils

I was over to another friends house and got to use her craft room and create. I found this Gina K stencil and so I used my Quick Quote chalk ink and created this lovely design.  I brought it home and finished creating the card adding the sentiment and heart. I softly went around the white area with my blending brush that probably had Ranger ink on it that was blue. Just to soften the white.  I am sending this to my daughter and son in law this month.

Hello everyone

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme: J for jump, anything that jumps,

frog, rabbit, kangaroo, cat, bug....

I had this green piece I made years ago on a jelly plate.. so I stamped the frog and die cut him out and the bugs all from Tech. Tues. I colored the bugs with copics. I kinda tried creating a water scene but it was working out so I ended up using a My favorite things circle die and just cut the blue piece. I used Spellbinder oval and cut for a lily pad and added a little weed looking grass and put it all together and then found this DCWV paper.. and thought it looked perfect for the background. I know who this is going to and can't wait to send it ...

I used scraps to create to waves and sun.. This is a stampin up die. I hardly ever use it and I see a lot of cards using this die for different looks.. I also used Stampin up ink to stamped the boat. I finished with some Simon says sea gulls.. The sentiment if a red rubber with no name and I used a Tech. Tues. die.

Theme - Chocolate

I thought about this theme for awhile... but thought my not use chocolate as a color vs. candy.. I love dark chocolate and I had some on my desk but not as a stamp.. lol... 

I used DCWV and paper as the background.. I stamped the Simon says ice cream and colored with copics. I used a Paper trey ink fancy circle die.  finished with a Tech. Tues. banner which I stamped the Simon says sentiment.

I decided to make a z fold card as I wanted a designer paper background and these papers are from Stampin up. I colored the image with copics. I added nuvo drops to the flower centers and sprinkled glitter over the wet centers. I added to the dark green and used my corner chomper to give it a different look.  I added the heat embossed Reverse confetti sentiment and used a Tech. Tues banner die.

Theme: G for Girlfriend

I don't have a Girlfriend words in my piles of stamps.. at least I couldn't find one. So I chose Besties because my girlfriend is my bestie.. We have so much fun together.  I used a piece from one of her Stampin up Pumpkin kit.. It's to hold a tag or gift card.. I used a SU embossing folder and then added the holder that I added some Taylor Expressions flowers I die cut from Scraps I added some My favorite things leaves cut from scraps. I added the Reverse Confetti Besties and Tech. Tues. words. I finished with some Diamond drills.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Theme: E - embossing / wet or dry

I was digging though some die images I had already done a long time ago.. I saw these flowers and thought I better use them while I know they are there now.. lol.  I took a piece of scrap and a small Stampin up folder and ran it through. I then added the flowers together and laid them out I needed a vertical sentiment so found this one. I stamped but it looked a little off (it's a red rubber stamp) so I stamped on a piece of card stock and used Tech. Tues. banner die.

I love fishing and I have a friend who's birthday is coming up next month so thought why not I am sure he'll enjoy it ... So I created this card. I used Stampin up dies and scraps. I created the easel card and inside I stamped the Hampton stamps fish and colored with copics. I added the Sweet shoppe sticker and I really like how this came out .. I love all the colors.

Theme: Watercolor and or "S"

I used Mission water colors to create the background.. I set it aside to dry. I stamped the Tech. Tues. images and butterfly. I colored with copics. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the flowers and butterfly.  I used Stampin up sentiment square and then laid out how the scene should look and then them. I finished with some Nuvo drops and sprinkles some glitter over them.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: B - butterflies 2 or more

I had this beautiful scrap piece from Stampin up and I didn't want to throw it away and it's so small - but I thought maybe I could make it work with this card. I took a piece of Stampin up card stock and embossed it with an old Sizzix folder. I added the Stampin up piece and then I die cut 3 butterflies from Tech Tues. I wanted colors that would look more for the dry weather climate. I have no idea if dry weather areas have butterflies  - sad if they don't have butterflies.

It's getting warmer and I am ready for May and sunshine.. 

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Body of water

I just got this new embossing folder from Stampin up and so this was a good time to try it out. I added Ranger inks to the paper and then embossed the waves.. I stamped the Tech. Tues images and colored with copics. I dug through my greenery and found what I thought worked for algae type greenery. I finished with some Nuvo drops for bubbles.  Thought the sentiment was perfect for a guy card.
