Hello.. Where is this month going? it has gone so fast.

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge 

Theme: K - Kitten or cats

I stamped this darling cat from Rubber Stampede and used My favorite things dies. I used Quick quote scraps to create the card. I cut the Hello from scraps that is the other side of the dot paper and stacked it 6 times to make more sturdy. I stamped the sentiment and added some diamond drills. I went over the hello with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.  I added a little color to the image with copics.

For my card I used a Rubber stampede image and Tombow markers and stamped the image. I then used Stampin up ink and Simon says sentiment.  So CAS..

Hello

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #279

Our theme this challenge is

BLUE - YELLOW - GRAY

I don't know that I've ever done a card with these colors.. So this was fun to figure what to do and do different. I saw this old red rubber lemon stamp from Rubber Stampede so then I dug through my designer papers (without names) and found this awesome paper. So I used Ranger inks and colored the stamp and then using a blending tool went around the edges after I fussy cut it out.  I found this nice blue card stock scrap so I heat embossed the Concord and 9th sentiment. I used Tech. Tues. banner die. I finished with some sequins and Nuvo drops in the center. I like the colors.

Hello

I made this card for a dear dear blog friend.. She had to put her cat down last month who has been with her forever (14 yrs.) I feel for her as we've had to put a couple of our pets down and it's such a hard hard thing to do.  I mailed this card to her 3 weeks ago but just now posting. I feel like this cat from Rubber Stampede is a giant walking the fields.. and to my friend her cat was a big part of her life that he was a giant.  Her Snookie is a Siamese.. I don't have a Siamese stamp but went with a lighter color. I used Simon Says inks. For the sky and ground I used my templates and Ranger inks. I added to some scraps. I stamped the Paper Trey Ink and heat embossed the sentiment and paw prints. I fussy cut the sentiment and used Stampin up heart die. I finished with some Nuvo drops.. I know she is moving and plans to get a couple fur babies once she's settled in.. There's always room in your heart for new family members. We'll never forget the one's we've lost.. I am sure there are many who agree.. Hugs my friend.

Are you ready for another fun challenge?  The Orange team has a great challenge for you at Pause Dream Enjoy #32..

 theme is ANYTHING GOES

 

So digging through my pile of background papers I've done in the past.. I found this Gelli plate paper I created. I then thought Safari and I had a Giraffe image from my monthly subscription from Tech. Tues. (this was probably close to a year ago..) so I stamped the giraffe and bird and colored with colored pencils and used the die cut. I then have a red rubber tree stamp and I have no idea who it's by. it's un-mounted. I stamped this on the background. I needed something for the bottom and I have a Rubber Stampede grass/rock stamp so stamped it across the bottom a couple times. I then foam mounted the giraffe and heat embossed the sentiment and add this and the bird.  I sure hope this looks as pretty on the computer as it does in real life.  I hope you play along and create anything you want.

Welcome back to a fun challenge at Always Fun challenges.

Our theme is color challenge

 

 

 

I am using an old stamp from Rubber stampede and words from Anticipation. I used various designer papers to get most of the colors needed for the challenge. I colored the image with copics. I used Taylored Expressions postage stamp and banner is My favorite things die.
