Hello.. Today over at Catch the bug is ABC..

Anything But a Card day..

There's only a few of us who create a project.. So if you're interested check out Catch the bug design teamies who did

 

 

My go to when I am stumped is a tag.. For this card I used some Oxide inks and smooshed them around on a Tim Holtz tag. I let it dry then I had some H2O paints out and flicked on some of the ink to give some sparkle.  I let this dry for a day or two. Then I used Newton's Nook paw stencil and black texture paste and created the background and edges. I set this aside for a day to try. I printed off the Rottweiler trio block and colored in two of the dogs with copics and fussy cut them out. I know they aren't colored as a Rottweiler.  I added a couple strips of Washi tape and added the dogs. I used My favorite things Hi die and cut this out three times and layered them. I thought of adding color to the letters but decided I like the white.

There's beauty to be found - Alway Fun Challenge #107

Welcome back to my blog. Today over at

Always Fun challenge #107 we have another challenge.

 The theme is CAS..  

 

 

This is a card I made using Paper Trey ink image and sentiment. I used water color paper and H2O paints. I painted the image first then put it back in the Misti and re-stamped the flower so that I gave a crisper look. I then went around the image with some watered down H2O paints then I flicked some splatters on the piece. I let it dry for a few days then stamped the sentiment. I added this piece to a piece of card stock that matched the flower color. I wish you could see the nice shine the mica gives the card.

Hello.. Are you ready for New Release

(kinda a new release) over at Bugaboo..

This image is finally in the store from the OLD store.. 

 Check out the design teams fun creations with this image over at Catch the bug.

 

This image is Fanny March.. I used H2O's to paint her dress, shoes and clovers in her hair so it's quite shimmery.. I used copics for her skin and hair. I used scraps to piece together the background and then used My favorite things stitch die to cut her out. I finished with Simon Says sentiment and sequins.

 It's challenge time again at

Pause Dream Enjoy #26

  theme... MERMAIDS

 

 

A friend came over and I was showing her what can be done with Ranger inks and smooshing and this is the paper I created. Now I can use it for the water mermaid theme card. That worked out perfect. I took a few rubber wood block stamps one from Rubber seed and Magenta and stamped the foliage below. I then stamped some mermaids from My Favorite Things on water color paper and using H2O paints colored them in and the leaves. I used Zig marker for the skin and cheeks. I die cut the images out and added the sentiment from MFT and the images. I completed the scene by adding some clear Nuvo drops so it looked like water bubbles.
