I made this card over at my friends house. I love when I can use someone her products. It's always fun times crafting with a friend.. I think most are Stampin up but I know the sentiment is from Dylusions as I have similar ones..

Hello.. We're back from a summer break.

I enjoyed my time diamond painting, visiting friends and just another day. When you're retired every day is a vacation.. lol. 

Now back into card making for

I am using the image Door Mouse.  I colored with copics and went over the circles on the pot with Spectrum Noir pen. I used My favorite things circle die. I then looked for a paper for the background and this one was right in front in my My Minds Eye box so used it. Then dug through some sentiments and kept coming back to Dylusions stamps and chose this fun one.  He looks like he's going to regret what ever he got into.. lol

I am using this fun image Sante Fe Mouse. I colored with copics and added him to the My favorite things dp.  I stamped the Dylusions sentiment as I thought it fit the image. I completed with some AB diamond drills.

I am using the image Wearing spring.. I colored her with copics and cut the image piece down. I took a stencil and ink that was on the brush and used it to add color to the back ground of her. I took a piece of white card stock and Stampin up embossing folder and added it to the card base. I took a piece of brown dotted dp from My minds eye and added it to the card base. I added the girl image with foam dots. I stamped the Dylusions sentiment and cut it apart to fit the front.  I thought the sentiment fit the image so well.

I chose to use these Birds of a feather from Patties Creations.. I colored them with copics and I wanted to make it work with this Dylusions sentiment. So I colored one in rainbow color.. I used my cloud and ground template with Ranger ink to create the background.

I am using Cupcake Kidz 

For my card I used the image Cupcake Kidz.. My hubby came in the craft room yesterday grabbed a piece of white card stock and he had the mesh from his bag of oranges and held it down to the card stock. Said do you have any spray paint.. So I grabbed my Dylusions spray and gave a couple spritz. He lifted off the orange mesh.. Wala.. we have a cool background. He was proud of it and said he wanted to see a card made using it. So since it was right there on my table I used that for the background. I took washi tape in yellow and layered it about 5 times to stop the transparent look. I colored the image with copics and fussy cut her out.  I stamped and heat embossed the Reverse Confetti and Simon Says sentiments and added to the card. I added some turquoise Nuvo drops. I went over parts of the image with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.  Hubby loves how it came out.

Hello.. It's time for another challenge over at 

Crafty Sentiments

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES

I am using this fun image called Back to School. I colored him with copics.. I decided to give him black hair.. I always go for the browns, sometimes red or blond but I am liking the black hair. I used Ranger ink to go around the edge of the image. I used my dry wall tape and Ranger ink to give the grid stencil effect to the background.  My friend had some Dylusions sentiments that were different from the ones I had so I stamped a bunch of them quite awhile ago for future use.. and thought this was a fun sentiment for the card. I cut them apart and went around the edge with Ranger ink. I added with some foam dots. I punched the Stampin up heart from a scrap and used Ranger ink around the edge and then used clear Nuvo drops over the top.

this is Day 4

 so below is my card

I laughed when I created this fun card. I first used my cloud and ground template and Ranger ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues. squirrel and painted with Prima watercolors. I stamped the Pretty pink posh coffee cup and painted and cut out. I stamped the Dylusions sentiment and Sugar pea "coffee" word. I used Comotions letters and created the "helps". I used corner chomper.

Hello.. I have a card to share for Day 2 of the Coffee Lovers blog hop

For this card I found this old paper and loved the print. I then dug through some images that I have stamped / painted / cut out/ and stored away.. So I dug through my image and thought perfect. I used the large Tech. Tues. squirrel and the small Gerda Steiner image. I turned over leftover piece from the dp and used Lawn Fawn grass die. I then used some Ranger ink to make the grass darker. I then went for my sentiments.. OK.. loved the Sugar Peas ...because adulting is hard and I thought the little squirrel looked like it was crying, throwing a fit, whining.. and so dug through my Dylusions sentiments and used part of one .. don't give me attitude.. that is what the mom squirrel is tell the baby and then the larger sentiment is her thought.. I added a Verve coffee cup also painted with Mission gold watercolors as the two critters and the My favorite things to go coffee cup. I used Simon says speech bubble for the sentiment.

Hello... It's time for another weekly challenge over at

 Always Fun Challenge #133

The theme this week is SOMETHING SCARY

Ok.. So  I went with something scary TO THE KITTENS.. they are scared of the little chick.. I started by creating the background with my ground and sky templates and Ranger inks. I then dug through my images that I have been stamping on water color paper and painting with Mission gold. I found the two Tim Holtz kittens.. the My favorite things chick and the Pretty Pink Posh bee.. I added them to the card. I found this funny Dylusions sentiment and stamped on a piece of scrap and cut them apart. I kinda thought the sentiment went with the scared cats. I love the frightened look on their faces.

Our theme is Fall/Halloween + sentiment

I am using the image called Creepy Cute Big Eye Tiffany.. I don't really do Halloween so I went more with the fall colors. I first created the background with Alcohol ink. Set it aside and then colored the image with copics and fussy cut her out. I thought the background needed a moon so I tried three different times with  Ranger inks.. I just wasn't getting the right colors so went with this yellow one. I stamped the Kevin ? moon and then used a My favorite things circle die. I added the moon and Tiffany. Then I stamped Dylusions sentiment and cut them apart and added to the card. I went over the moon and sentiment with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

This is Ruby attitude.. She does come with sentiments but I used Dylusions sentiment which I thought fit well.. I colored the image with copics and using Spellbinder rectangle die cut her out. I found Quick quote scraps and added them. I stamped the sentiment with Stampin up ink and cut them apart.

this image is called Wiggle the bait.. She also comes with a sentiment.. I chose to use a Dylusions sentiment instead. I colored the image with copics. I used Spellbinder die to cut her out. I found this fun colorful designer paper so added it and a strip of black/white scrap down the side. I heat embossed the Dylusions sentiment and cut out. I added this along with a fish and hook from a button set. (I use to fish all the time. Especially when my kids were a young'ns.. We did trout or salmon and at night squid.. vacations we always went where there was water..) I went around the edge of the image with Ranger ink and Nuvo glitter brush over the reel and her shoes/glasses.

Hello.. Today over at Always Fun Challenge #111

we have a new challenge

 

the theme is COLOR.. see color chart below

 This is the card I made. I did this all with water colors. Altenew water colors. I started with creating the blue background on water color paper and when I got the colors I liked I then splattered the dark blue on it and then some white Dylusion paint.  The flowers  are from Pretty Pink Posh and are heat embossed white and then using the Altenew paints I painted them. I love the look and fun feel and colors. I then die cut them out and for the greenery I used scissors and cut as much of the over hang white card stock off that I could. I wanted a cleaner look. I then laid the flowers and greenery out till I got the scene I liked and carefully adhered down with adhesive and foam dots. I then stamped the Stampin up sentiment and heat embossed.

Welcome to a new challenge over at Catch the bug..

Our theme this Saturday is BINGO

 

 

I chose the bottom row.. Washi Tape / Orange / Embossing..  I started with taking the background orange card stock and some white Dylusions spray and gave it a quick spray. I dried it then ran the card stock through an embossing folder. Large dots. I then took the Bugaboo image flower/ladybug love. I colored the image with copics and adhered this to the card stock. Then I took two different Washi tapes and added to the card. I went over the flower center and heart with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I wanted to add a sentiment but wasn't sure where or what so left it as the two ladybugs loved each other so great for different occasions.

Wow hard to believe we're in the 3rd month of the year.. I hope you all are out of the snow and freezing temps.. We're warming up and getting less precipitation.  Living in the Pacific Northwest we have greenery all the time. Our grass and evergreen trees but I am ready for colorful flowers and trees.

 

Well on to my blog.. Today we have a Free Friday at Bugaboo.. Check out the design teams creations for this fun image over at Catch the bug.

 

 

Here is "Clyde get well"... I colored him with copics and then went over the medical bag and roses with Nuvo glitter pen. I used Quick quote chalk ink and stamped the Dylusions number stamp over the white background. I then used Watermark ink and went over the teal card stock. I cut the image out with a Lil inker stitch die.

Hello and Happy New Year.. Welcome to 2019 hope it's a blessed year for you.

I had some time to play in my craft room. I always have in mind to create gorgeous tags.. but I always seem to fall short.. I just don't seem to get the right combination.. But it didn't stop me from trying. So here is a tag I created.

I used a large Tim Holtz manila tag. I started by using Dylusions sprays and once I was happy with that I added some random Club scrap stamps.. I added some Washi tape then added Petaloo flowers and some Stampin up leaves. I used a little Ranger ink and distress crayon for more interest.  I used some Tim Holtz words and went around with a glitter pen and Nuvo drops. I finished with some twine

Were back with news and a new challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy

 

We are now a monthly challenge blog. A new challenge the 8th of each month.. 

The theme is anything goes / cards 

(until further notice for 2019 as were not sure yet the themes if any, could still be ATG)

 

Well the kids are heading back to school and summer is coming to a close and most are back from vacations.. I know Labor Day weekend is a big weekend for us in the USA and it's kinda the end to summer fun.

 

 

So for my card I kinda kept it very simple. I used a Dylusions number and alphabet stamp and stamped the background. I then took texture paste and stencils and added this to different areas. I then stamped a Hero Arts apple and using my Mission paints painted it in and fussy cut it out. I stamped the Tech. Tuesday sentiment and added this to my card front. I think it speaks back to school..
