Theme:  Make it green

for my card I borrowed a friends pear stamp that is Stampin up. I stamped in Kiwi ink from Stampin up. I used My favorite things dies and cut the image and using two different Cosmo Cricket papers I die cut them. I found a blue/greenish paper (it look quite dark in the photo) and ran it through an embossing dot folder. I added the layers and the Simon Says sentiment along with some diamond drills.

I used Newtons nook and My favorite things doggies.. I colored with copics. I added to a Cosmo Cricket dp and used a MFT die. I added the sentiment and cut from MFT die. I added to a scrap of Quick Quote dp.. I finished with some diamond drills.

We have a new challenge at

Theme: Movie maddness

I chose Book Club with Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen

I used Art Impressions stamp and colored with copics. I used Simon Says stamps, a couple of their confetti stamp to add texture to the wall and table cloth..  I layered on some Cosmo cricket paper and liked that it has text on the paper to go along with the movie. I added the My favorite things sentiment.

I am using the image Time to read. which is one of my favorite things to do.. when I am not diamond painting.. (it's addicting and taken over my time)  I do have favorite authors and so when I can I break out my kindle or an actual book and let it take me away.. I colored this cute image with copics, I added the My favorite things sentiment using Stampin up ink. I used a piece of Cosmo cricket dp and distressed the image edge with Ranger ink and added to the card base.

I am back with another new challenge today over at

Our theme this month is

BACK TO SCHOOL

For my card I used Cosmo Cricket dp.. I stamped the Club Scrap sentiment. I then stamped and using Prima watercolors painted the kids. I used the dies and added them to the card. I thought it needed more so I stamped the glasses and apple. I colored the apple with copics and added the glasses to the little boy.  I chose the sentiment because there is always so much peer pressure in school / in life to follow others and in most cases it's not for the best... but it's best to be yourself, as long as you're doing right.

I am using this daisy fairy image. I colored with copics. I backed on some gray stampin up card stock then onto a piece of Cosmo Cricket designer paper. I used the Epiphany punch for the littler tags. I added some white gel pen, diamond drills and Spectrum noir sparkle. I didn't add a sentiment because it can be used for quite a few girly situations..

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #280

I am the host so I chose the theme to be

ADD SOME METAL

For my card I first chose the metal. I had asked hubby what should I use.. He said wait just a min. and went to the recycle can and pulled out the top of the foil that covers the new opened can of coffee.. So I took it and embossed the piece.. then I should of known better ran it through a stitch rectangle die. which took away the embossing.. Gesh. I should of known better but I didn't want to lost the stitching so guess it's one or the other.. I am glad with the final and it does show a little embossing. I looked for papers and went to Cosmo Cricket as it kinda has a masculine look.. it' cardz 4 guyz.. and laid out the papers and metal.. It needed something else so used a Paper Trey Ink tablet tab die and cut the alphabet paper. Then I took black card stock and die cut the Taylored Expressions flowers 4 times and layered. I added them and then the Simon Says sentiments to some scraps of Quick Quote paper. I used Tech. Tues. dies and cut the sentiments out. I added and then added a few more metal blings to the bottom.

I colored the image with copics.. I don't know what's going on with my E21 but it removes copic colors and leaves a blotchy touch to the paper. I changed the nib and still issues. It also give a sticky feel.. But I already had so much colored I didn't want to start over.. I used Simon Says stitch die I added the image to some brown card stock and then the Cosmo Cricket designer paper. I added some twine. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink and used a Stampin Up stitch oval.  This sentiment made me laugh..

I am using the image called Medical hero. There is a guy and gal and I chose to use the gal. I colored with copics and fussy cut her out. I used Cosmo Cricket designer papers and a scrap circle that I cut a section off for her to stand on. I added a strip of ribbon over the seam and added the girl with foam dots. I used Tech. Tues. banner die to cut the sentiment that came with the digi. I used a copic to give the sentiment strip color. I added a few Nuvo drops to the ribbon. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to her glasses and stethoscope.

Hello.. I have a card to share using a new image that is in the Bugaboo Store.

Called Army Salute

Check out the design teams creations using this fun image over at Catch the bug.

I colored the image with copics. I used Lil inker stitch die and mounted him on some brown card stock and then onto this Cosmo Cricket designer paper. I stamped the Verve stamps sentiment and using Stampin up die cut it out and with Ranger ink went around the edges. I added a few enamel hearts and a star.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun card using the Bugaboo Free Friday image. 

Check out the design teams creations over at Catch the bug.

 

This image is called Rolly Polly Chef Pie.  I was going the idea that this is a fruit pie so the Cosmo Cricket design papers with strawberries.. I colored the image with Copics and then used My favorite things stitch die. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and used a Stampin up die. I went around the edges with Ranger ink and added a little Wink of Stella.  I love the bright fun look of this card. Hope you pick up this fun guy.
