For my princess I used a Bugaboo image. I colored her with copics and used some Simple stories dp. I added the birthday sentiment from Paper Trey Ink. The other sentiment I am not sure who it's by. I embossed  the bd sentiemnt and added the Tech. Tues. banners and Nuvo drops. I added some Taylored Expressions bling to her crown.

Well Crafty Catz #562 

is back from our little time off 

for the summer. I still crafted.. Being retired it's always a vacation..

Girl sitter cat

I colored the image with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used a My favorite things stencil and more Ranger ink.  I made a nice smudge on the left so I stamped, colored and die cut the Lawn Fawn bird.. The sentiment is also from LF.. I went over the bird and her shoes, hearts with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added to a piece of designer paper.

Floral set 2   The store has close so winner will get an image used by the DT.. 

This digi comes in the rectangle and circle. I am using the rectangle.. I colored the whole image with copics. I used a Stampin up stencil and Ranger ink and created the yellow background. I spritzed with some water and then dried. I added the Simon Says sentiment which I heat embossed. There are some little black dots on the card and I covered them with white Nuvo drops. I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the butterflies and inside the flowers.

I am using Gus fish whisper

the store has now closed. 

Gus is one of my favorites along with Stella at Bugaboo.. I chose to use this image, Gus the fish whisper. I colored him with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the water. I added to a piece of DCWV paper and stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment on a piece of scrap and used a Spellbinder banner die. I added the bow of twine and added the My Favorite Things fish which I water colored with Mission gold paint.

This image is Sun bonnet beach from Bugaboo store

This is the fun image. I colored her with copics and used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I cut her down and then added her to a piece of designer paper which gave me a sunny feel. I stamped the Simon Says BEACH please with Altenew ink.. I thought she needed some company so stamped the My favorite things crab and seagull and painted with Mission gold water colors. Cute beach scene. I hope to make it out to the beach this summer. Get my feet wet and just enjoy the sound of the waves and breath in the fresh air.. it's my happy place.

I am using the image Beach Duck

I colored the image with copics. I know the image is beach duck but I think it can also be water.. So that is what she is on. Floating on the water having a wonderful time getting sun tanned and sipping lemon aid.. at least that is what she said.. lol. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink for the sky and Ranger ink for the water. I used a strip of Quick Quote scrap and heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment. I added the My favorite things scallop die and the Ek punch flip flops.  Over the water I used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

I am using the cute image called Chibi balloons.. I colored her with copics. I cut the piece down and added to a scrap of purple dp. Then added to the My minds eye banner dp. I added the Paper Pretties sentiment and used a Stampin up punch and finished with some ribbon tails. The highlight on the balloons I added clear Nuvo drops.

this is MK pirate.. I colored the image with copics. I used Artistro gold pen on his earing. it's doesn't look gold till you turn the image.. weird..   I used Spellbinder oval die. I added the image to the DCWV designer paper and added the Paper Trey Ink happy birthday and Rubber baby buggy bumper sentiment. I went around the edges with Ranger ink

This is the free image called Deacon cake. I created a mini slimline card.  I colored him with copics. I used the Kat Scrappiness distress die and cut out the image and the check background. I used Washi tape along the folded end and added the Hero art sentiment and distressed the edges with Ranger ink.

How are you liking the new format for Catch the bug?  I am really liking it and the two challenges a month without all the other postings.  Makes life simpler.  I hope you're liking it too.

This is the sketch to follow

For my card I used Daffodil watering can  from the Bugaboo store.. I colored the image with copics. I used a Spellbinder scallop die. I found some scraps from Quick quote and used the Paper Trey Ink large scallop. I backed the image with a green card stock and used my Corner Chomper. I added with some foam dots. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and heat embossed and fussy cut around the words also added with some foam dots. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

This free Friday is Chef Pierre Wine.. I colored him with copics. I added some clear Nuvo drops to the wine glass and bottle.  I used Kat Scrappiness distress die. I added him to some Quick Quote scraps. I added the Tim Holtz snarky sentiment. I finished with some sequins and topped with some more clear Nuvo drops.

This is the cute image called Fire No. 3.. I colored the image with copics. I added him to a yellow border and then the red card front. I cut about an inch off the right side of the card front and added this strip of stripe paper inside. The birthday sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink stamped with Simon Says lipstick red.

Today it's Friday so that is Free Friday

at Catch the bug / Bugaboo

 

This is Dino in egg.  I colored the image with copics. I then used the Taylored Expressions postage die. I stamped the My Pink Stamper sentiment and Simon Says happy birthday which I used Stampin up die to cut out. For the background I used kraft and a SU stencil and Versa Mark to create the circles.  I kept this pretty simple.

This is Bee small flower.. I colored the image with copics Then using Stampin up ink and Simon Says honey comb stamp stamped the background. Used a little copic to added some color. I stamped the SS sentiment on a scrap. I added a little Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the wings.
